Lonestar Air Duct & Chimney

Well. Good learning experience for me!

Arrived on time. This was a trip to investigate a chimney in a home that was 5 years old when purchased. The chimney was never used, and the technician then explained the operation and gave advice on inserts for wood or gas logs. The technician was very professional.

They arrived on time, inspected the chimney, and covered the operation of the chimney in detail.

Fine. Very thorough and professional job.

The job was done well and I will absolutely rehire. Very happy overall! In fact, the inspection revealed some issues around the chimney that I will get fixed that I would not have known about.

Went extremely well. David was very punctual and polite. He got to work the minute he stepped through the door.

The professional showed up early, and did a great job. He made every effort to work cleanly, and very courteous, and fast.

From the time I called and left a message, to the time the service was done, was less than four hours! Derek called me back and arrived a few hours later. His work was thorough and impressive and the pricing reasonable.

Great - was able to come out same day which was great. Cleaned and inspected fireplace and chimney. No mess left - and know we have a fireplace we can use this winter.

They literally walked in and saw the situation and said call Angie's List and find some one else and packed up his stuff and walked out. He did not communicate with me he just decided to not do the job. When I called they seemed eager to do the work they had a cancellation and set an appointment to do the work.

It went well but this is a service that we have had done before and I'm not sure that it was done as well as the previous company did it. He only cleaned from the outside and did not run the cleaning snake from inside to outside.

Great job, they did not have to actually do deep cleaning of the air ducts. They were not real dirty as I expected they would be. They did a sanitize, deodorize and anit-bacteria treatment. Also cleaned the dryer vent.

It went quite well. David was able to schedule an appointment relatively quickly, arrived on time, and was very efficient about the process. He was very courteous and friendly. Our dryer is in an interior room on the 2nd floor so it is a bit more difficult than average but it did not slow up David at all. He said we have about 24 feet of duct to clean. A number of years back we had a bird make a nest in the vent and had it cleaned. According to David, that cleaner apparently did not remove ALL of the nest so it backed up more quickly than it should have otherwise. David said he cleaned it out entirely. The dryer now drys like it was new and David left no signs of his presence with a clean job site. We'd certainly call him back if the need arises.

Clean, fast but thorough, excellent !

Went very well. The technician cleaned out all lint and debris from the dryer and cleaned the dryer vent from the dryer output point to the end of the line exhaust point. The technician also shortened the dryer hot air hose and secured it to the dryer and wall with clamps to prevent leakage.
