Lonestar Air Duct & Chimney

So far as I know, it went well. The service man said that it was cleaned out completely.

I asked that he check the vent behind dryer, and he said it wasn't necessary because he had the dryer on while he was cleaning vent up-to the roof. I asked a 2nd time and he said OK, and pulled vent off of dryer to clean it outside. He did say it was a little dirty and re-installed it. Not sure really why it took me to get him to clean the metal vent since it is part of the cleaning required, since fuzz does go down the vent when he is cleaning it with his tools, even if the dryer is on. That said, he did it with a little pushing from the customer.

Mr. Freeman contacted me the very next day. We scheduled for him to come out the following day. He was very professional and courteous. He came and took care of cleaning the air ducts in a timely manner. He also inspected the dryer vent and told me that he could clean it for 1/2 price since he was already here.

They arrived on time, and removed the remains of a bird nest. Dryer works fine now. Probably a good idea to have this checked annually.

Called and the technician was going to come the next day at noon. Called later and wanted to reschedule for 9am, which was better for me. The guy was very quick, but had his cell phone blaring a news radio station the entire time he was in my house, not very professional. After he cleaned the vents in my master bedroom, he told me he was done, so I went in and there was water all over the floor from his machine, I had to dry up with a bath towel. I asked him if some mold came off one of the vents (because it was bad) and he showed me the vent. There was still mold on it and I pointed it out, so he said "let me go redo that one." I didn't hover over this guy as I was working from home in my office, and I figured he would do it right since I just showed him what he missed. At the end, I paid and he left. Well later that night I start looking, he didn't clean a couple of the vents because they are on two stories up and he never brought the ladder in. Because my ceiling is painted, the vents need to go back on the same way they came off. This guy put them all on crooked and you can see the different colors by 2 inches in some places. 75% of my vents are done like this. Then, yesterday, a few weeks after, I am on the side of my house and I see a bunch of gray stuff on the ground. I go over to look and its the dryer vent material he blew out. He just left it on the side of my house where it rained and is now stuck to all of my landscaping rocks. This guy was in such a hurry, will not recommend or use again.

The technician showed up on time, as scheduled. Was short, to the point and got the job done. I did catch him standing on my bed with one of his shoes, which I called him out on. I wouldn't have minded if he had covered his shoes and also ran it by me first; for that reason, I'm taking the professionalism a couple notches down.
