We contacted Katie Hastings to help us come up with an affordable renovation of our 1952 2 bedroom, 1 bathrom home in South Austin. We wanted to upgrade the kitchen, opening up the walls into the living areas as well as adding an additional bathroom. She developed a design which included redoing the kitchen cabinet arrangement, relocating our dining and living room, adding a bathroom and utility room, consulted on the interior design selection of all new materials for the remodel project (tile, faucets, cabinet colors, etc), and also creating an initial remodel budget.
Katie also helped create all the necessary permit drawings and submitted our applications to the relevant permit offices. She also consulted with us while we were going through the construction bidding process.
Definitely would recommend her for all the above.
