My initial visit to the showroom went very well with a very helpful salesperson.   After shopping around, I came back to place an order.   That salesperson was no longer there and no one in the showroom seemed particularly capable.   I went ahead and placed the order anyway.   The measurement and installation guy came out and measured my window.   After waiting longer than I was told it would take for my window covering to be ready, I called the showroom.   The person who answered the phone said my order had arrived yesterday and the installation guy would call me.   When more than a week passed without hearing from anyone, I stopped by the showroom again.   This time I was assured that my order was in and while I waited a message was left for the installation guy to call me immediately, which he did.   We set up an appointment and the installation was performed very promptly and quickly.   I had put down a deposit of fifty percent and had been told that I would pay the installer the rest of the money.    No, the installer said, I don't pay him.   I assumed that I would be sent an invoice.   It never happened.   Four weeks later I stopped by the showroom again--this time to ask if they wanted my money or not.   I've never before had to go and beg someone to take my money.   I would have waited except that with this level of incompetence, I was afraid that my bill would go straight to a collection agency.   I am, however, very happy with my window covering--which means I'm happy with Hunter-Douglas products, not with this company.

We hired Interior Design Gallery because we are not skilled at selecting colors and materials for remodeling. Ms. McGovern made two trip to our house and is planning a third trip. In the first 2 trips she brought us samples of materials and helped us selected the best colors for our projects. On the third trip she will help us place our painting and other art work throughout the house.
