The price listed is per year. They always respond promptly. Their service technicians are always very clean and mindful of coming into the house. I recommended them to a neighbor yesterday.

Overall, Fox Services were very polite and professional. They were on time, and I would defiantly use this company again.

I called Fox a week ago to make an appt with them. They confirmed with me that I was the first appt on Monday, July 20th. I went to the house to wait for them and when they did not show I called and was made to sit on hold for what seemed like a really long time, only to be told that my service tech had worked 20 hours YESTERDAY and would not be showing. They were supposed to call me but did not. I drove 20 miles to this house just to have to turn around and come home. Now I have to hire another electrician!

It was very good because they were professional and came in on time. They did the job as specified and within the estimate. They were personable and friendly as well.

During the twelve years I have owned the house, the handles failed to shut off water periodically, and periodially I called another plumbing comany to make repairs which never were effective. The last time, that plumber said he could not get the stems off, because they were fused in, and that the next leak would require that I have tiles removed. I called Fox, and the plumber James Perez showed me that the stems could be removed easily after some minor work on the tiles was done. He did the work with great care, showing me the progress step-by-step. The price was about half of what I would have paid for the major job the other plumber recommended. Removing and replacing tiles would have been an additional cost.

Went well, but overpaid.

They were prompt and their service was good. They repaired my toilet and even gave me tips on what to look for in case of any leaks in the future. The checked out a leak in my dishwasher and gave me recommendations on who to call to have that repair made. Fox Service Company also does electrical and HVAC work as well. It's good to know I have a good company to call if I need any of these services in the future.

Woke up Saturday morning to a leaking water heater. Checked Angie's List & decided to give Fox a call. They had a technician here in an hour. He even called when he was on his way over. This was emergency service. Roger, the technician, could not fix the old water heater but it was 12 years old. He drained it while we went to Home Depot & bought a new one. Roger installed it & probably spent a good 4 hours here. Then another person from Fox came (Rick) to pick up the old water heater. Both of these techs were great! We were extremely pleased with the service & the price.

We had an electrical fire and lost all power in our house. We didn't know who to call, so we called Fox since it was a large company and we figured they could respond quickly. That they did, and I appreciated the fact they were able to show up same day. However, a job they originally said would take half a day turned into two and a half days. And because I was concerned about someone who was able to respond so quickly (I had previously called a number of recommended electricians to have a new line run outside and all were booked 1 to 2 weeks out), I arranged to have one of those electricians come in a few weeks after the accident to check things out. While he confirmed the breaker boxes were essentially safe, a number if things weren't right. An odd panel was installed above one of the breaker boxes and he didn't know why it was necessary; no junction boxes were installed in the attic after it was noted they were missing and we requested them; the seal on the meter was broken without a permit from the city, just to name a few things. Plus, when I asked how long and how much this job would have been had I used the second electrician (without telling him any details about Fox), he said half a day and $900. BOTTOM LINE - I felt that because Fox knew the job was going to be covered by insurance, they padded the job to maximize the insurance pay out, and did not do everything we expected.

We called them at 8AM and they were here within a few hours. The plumber was very efficient and personable.

Okay except he did not do the job he said he was going to do.

Both employees were timely, courteous, and efficient. Both jobs were done well.

Great, on time, did what they said they were going to do.

I would rather not hire them again just because of the price. It's a great company but just pricey.

I was extremely disappointed with Fox. No one informed me in advance that Fox charged to come out to give an estimate. I had two other electrical companies out to bid on the same job and neither of them charged anything at all and both gave complete estimates. I asked why I wasn't informed when I called that there would be a charge just to come out to give an estimate; no explanation was given. In addition, when the man gave me the estimate, he also told me I would have to go buy the copper wire to be used in the job, that the estimate did not include copper wire and that I would be responsible for finding and buying the copper wire he would need. This flabbergasted me. It seemed to me that the estimate should have included everything. I asked why the copper wire wasn't included in the estimate and he said because it was so expensive. This truly did not make any sense to me. I will never have Fox out to make an estimate again.

We picked Fox Service out of the Yellow Pages because our heater went out in the middle of some of the coldest days last winter. The service tech arrived when he was scheduled, inspected the heater, and determined the blower motor had seized beyond repair. He tried to fix it temporarily, including taking it outside in the freezing temps to try and free it up, so we could have a Little heat, but nothing worked. Although we had to wait two days for the new motor because it was a special order, Fox was very timely about installing it ASAP once it arrived. Additionally, the actual cost was about $100 less than the estimate. We have also used Fox Service twice to repair a very old AC unit at a rent house. Once again, the tech was timely and proficient and the cost was very fair. We were told by one of the technicians that Fox is the last (and only) major service Romany in Austin that still hires its own employees. They do not use sub-contractors.

The entire job they did for me was horrible and I will never use them again. They didn't do it properly the first time and they came back to fix the leak the second time. It still was not fixed, so we had to hire someone else. Also, the ceiling that they did was done sloppily. They didn't even glue the pipe and we are not happy with any of the work they did. It was terrible and after two times they weren't able to get it right.

We have used them for years now for everything from pool, electric, to heating and A/C. Some say they are a little expensive, but I say it is money well spent! They stand behind the work and will come out anytime.

Fox Service Company can be relied upon to do excellent quality work that is definitely done to last. The workers are pleasant and professional in their demeanor and their work. Everything went very well and works perfectly. They are a bit more expensive than some, but personally I would prefer a little extra up front than to have problems down the road.

They were very efficient and did the job in just one day. The price was right and the unit works great. I haven't had any problems with it since the installation was done. I would recommend them to others.

They are defiantly pricy, but very thorough, friendly and helpful. He came when we told him to and did everything that we needed done. He was able to do it all with no problems. He knew what to do and how to do it. He didn t make any mistakes and it all turned out fine. Everything works now and we are pleased with that. I think all plumbers are high in price so I don't really have any complaints.

I have used Fox for a while now and they have always been very professional. They are not the cheapest in town but the quality of their work is worth paying for. People should definitely consider using them.

I hired him to fix my toilet and when he showed up to work on it he didn't have any parts. He then told me he needed to go buy the right one and decided to go shopping on my dime. He ended up charging me for the time he was out getting the parts he needed to do the job. I do not recommend him.

They do very good work and the service person they send out is always friendly. They seem be well trained in their trade and they do their work in a timely fashion. The work is top quality and very reliable. I would highly recommend them to other people.
