FLOOR KING (CARPET ONE)

I liked that they came out and thoroughly explained the type of flooring they had, and also the process.  I didn't know much about it, but I appreciated that they took the time to explain.  I felt that I was comfortable when making a decision, and I was happy with how everything turned out. 

Floor king replaced hardwood flooring in our home.  They worked very will with our insurance provider and made the process very simple.  The quality of work was very good.

The job was really good and I don’t think there was any problem.  I will sue them again in the future.

I liked everything about them. Everything was pretty seamless, from working with them to pick out the floor to getting the prices and then setting up the install. I never had to worry about whether or not they were going to show up for work that day. They showed up every day probably between 8:00 and 8:30 to work and worked every day until 5:00 or 5:30. When they left every day, they left the work site clean and organized; if anyone came by, they would never know they were in the midst of a flooring install. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I am very pleased with my flooring purchased from Floor King.  The entire experience from purchasing product to installation went very smooth.  Floor King has a huge offering of products. David Haskell was very helpful, he showed me the products and explained the differences. He really helped me make the right decisions and stay within my budget. I purchased tile, carpet and wood. Floor King beat the Big Box store prices.  I also had some scheduling challenges and David handled them flawlessly.  I highly recommend Floor King and will use them again in the future.

INCREDIBLE. They worked on the floor Friday and Saturday. We got home on Sunday and it was all installed, the quarter round painted and installed. It is like an entirely new room. It took a couple of days to get used to the change in accoustics, it's like an echo chamber without the carpet absorbing the sound. And it took a couple of days to just get used to the change. My husband and I love the look. I never thought laminate flooring could look so pretty!!!

It is more expensive than hardwood and ceramic tiles. They were recommended because of their installation expertise. They were supposed to be excellent, but I didn't like them. I had a lot of issues with them. The crew was late and rushed the job when they finally showed up. I had disagreements with the salespeople on some of the installation and how they installed the floor. I had to have the crew come back seven times to do corrections on the floor. I'm now in the process of contacting the manufacturer to see if they can get a rep out here to inspect the installation because I still don't think it is correct. They were very responsive when I had pointed out an issue, though. I didn't have to wait for more than one or two days for them to come out for that.

After we accepted their proposal, they came in 3 days to install the flooring. They did a very professional job on the installation. They undercut the door jambs and the fireplace brick exactly enough to slide in the flooring planks. Before laying down the planks, they checked the concrete slab to make sure that it was flat enough, and fortunately they didn't have to do any leveling. With random lengths of planks, they did a very good job of placing them to create a natural looking pattern. They did a nice job with the shoe molding, and they caulked over the nails. They mopped the floor with a hardwood cleaner and then carefully moved the furniture. They finished in one long day of about 10 hours. I had to call them back for some minor cleanup/touchup work, so they came back a couple of days later to clean off a little glue with mineral spirits and to caulk a couple of nails. It was easy to work with these guys, and the whole project went pretty smoothly.

The Floor King representative was helpful in selecting a high-quality hardwood that would fit with my home decor. The pricing for the selected product was straightforward and reasonable based on research that I had conducted online. A date for installation was identified and Floor King met all established installation agreements. Installers encountered some difficulties with an uneven house foundation, but they did everything that was needed to ensure that the new floors would be perfect. I couldn't be happier with the result.

The floor refinish was subcontracted to Magnus Anderson and they did a fabulous job! The workers were top-notch professionals. They were polite, hard working, and courteous. Their process really is dust free. The installed wood flooring was likewise beautifully done. The only problem was they came up a wee bit short of wood and had to return the next morning to finish a small closet. The carpet laying crew were also top notch. Unfortunately, the carpet manufacturer sent a mislabeled roll of carpet that was close, but not exactly, the chosen color. It wasn't until after the carpet was laid that the difference became clearly visible. When notified of the mistake Lynn at Floor King made all the arrangements to have the correct carpet installed. That meant another month of my house being disassembled and once again going through the mess of having carpet torn out and reinstalled. That is why I give them a B in Overall Experience. However, now that it is all done, the new flooring is gorgeous and I love it.

They were great to work with. Excellent follow up and communications. Very professional and the installers did a quality job.

As with any major purchase, I agonized over which company to use. I did not want to use the big box stores and visited several local companies. We had very specific ideas about what we wanted (a berber) and I was very pleased with the selection and price at Floor King. The installation was prompt and professional and I am really pleased with the results. I like to get the best deal possible but I don't want to skimp on quality and Floor King fulfilled both of those.

They were very professional and prompt. The quality of workmanship was really good. They were very helpful in matching the existing carpet that we had.

I m planning on having them replace the rest. The estimator and the sales person gave good service. The carpet is a green product made of recycled plastic bottles. They did a nice job.

Our salesperson, Lynn, did an excellent job handling our remodel project by always being courteous, professional, and very attentive to our needs. Even after requesting a last minute change after the materials had been ordered, we never at any time felt that we had become an inconvenience. The laminate took two days to install and the work was tight- they spent a lot of time floating the slab to make it perfectly level, and even the quarter round molding was done perfectly with nice tight joints. Also, the flooring was nicely coped to fit snugly around the door frame molding. The carpet was installed on the third day and looks great- no mistakes. From start to finish, the installers did a prompt and professional job. My impression of Floor King after this project is unequivocally positive.
