Dirt Detectives is a small, yet still professional general housecleaning service. It consists of me, Jackie, the owner, son Brandon, and 1 other helper. We are legal U.S. citizens and do not have criminal records. We have been in business for 22 years and offer a detailed, high quality job. We have several clients that have been with us for 3-22 years. Our goal is that our clients are completely satisfied with our service for years to come. We use high end Miele vacuums and a microfiber mop system, much cleaner than the old mop and bucket system. We have exceptional references and are bonded. We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly service. We provide all good quality cleansers and equipment.

Services we offer
General housecleaning which includes dusting, all of the above are done on each visit. Wet wiping baseboards, and cobwebs are done on a rotation basis. Jackie and her team have exceeded my expectations for cleaning my home. You will not regret hiring Jackie and her team! And no, I am not being paid or being provided a discount to say that! I wanted to write this review a few months ago after my first cleaning, but got distracted by life's mysteries (work!) I am glad I waited because her services have gotten better with time. She is professional, fast moving, and extremely particular. If it is not done right, she will clean it over again. I work from home and occasionally get in their way - they are patient with me while moving from my home office to another part of the house. Even the small things like remembering my animals names or putting things back in the right place. Thank you, Dirt Detectives! I see myself using you gals for a long time to come.

Love Jackie. She and her partner have only been cleaning for me a couple of months, but they do a great job. I especially appreciate that after the "regular" cleaning they always do the things that do not need to be done every two weeks... like wiping down the cabinets, cleaning the blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, etc. They do these on a rotating basis. They are reliable and on time. Definitely recommend!

Jackie and crew came in and did a marvelous job. Everything sparkled. Now they come once a month and work their magic. It's perfect for me because I can do a light cleaning between visits and they come in and get the crevices. Jackie and her crew are professional and are very considerate as me and my husband both work from home and vacuums can be too loud when we need to make phone calls. They work around us perfectly. I will definitely keep using them.

The team arrives on time as scheduled and greats the most important family member, our dog, first. Then they divide the work load (for example Jackie cleans the bathroom, kitchen and laundry room, her helpers do the bedrooms and living areas). Everything is sparkly by the time they leave that you'd never know there was an active family living in the apartment. Her vacuum picks up all pet hair on the couches and floor. Somehow she gets our stove and sink to shine like new every time! She even goes out of her way to double check the mirrors for finger prints or noes prints. She is here for about 2 hours, and I'm always impressed by their efficiency and quality of work.

Jackie is GREAT! She only uses natural cleaning products, never any hazardous cleaning products. She supplies her own equipment and cleaning products. She is very pet friendly and always greets my cat as a member of the family.
The house always smells fresh when she is done, never smells of bleach or other toxic substances.

We have used Jackie for several months and have been very pleased. She is always on time and wastes little effort while cleaning. She pays attention to the details and respects our home. One of the things we like is she will rotate in larger cleaning projects (blinds, baseboards, etc) every time she comes. We will definitely continue to use her service and we never worry about her being in our home while we're not here.

Jackie did a very good job. Communication was prompt and I knew I could always reach her. Her work was thorough. She was trustworthy and did everything that needed to be done. I had to cancel her service because my financial situation changed. I wish I could have kept her services! I would recommend her to anyone in need of regular cleaning services.

Dirt Detectives has been cleaning my home every other week for 6 months. Jackie and her partner do an exceptional job. In addition to the regular work, I've made special requests when necessary and they have been accommodating. One of the most important things to me is how well they have treated my pets. I have an older, sick cat who sometimes doesn't quite make it to the litter box on the coldest weeks. After a really cold, wet, rainy week, the floors definitely needed cleaning. I let Jackie know that the floors need extra attention. When I came home those floors sparkled! I remember walking around in awe. In addition to the work for this particular request, I can say very positive things about their normal work. Their normal work is steller. They lift things from the counter instead of just wiping around it, that way both the seen and unseen areas of the counter or cleaned. No dust bunnies are collecting in my house! They round up the cat toys, so they can properly clean floors (or whatever else the cats have hidden their toys on). They made my utlity room sparkle. I am very pleased with Dirt Detectives' punctuality, diligence at work, attention to detail, respectfulness of my house, and treatment of my cats. I would easily recommend them to my best friends.

Jackie and her son are the BEST of the BEST! Hire them if you want perfection. We came home to a clean, great smelling home.
We have 3 dogs and Jackie made sure they were comfortable and even put them outside for us. She loves pets too.

They are excellent. They are fast and they get out of here like that. They do something extra each time, they keep a list. It's like today we will clean the blinds. Then maybe another time it will be like do the baseboards. I have never had anything like that before. They write it down so you know what they are doing.

Brandon cleans two bathrooms as well as the kitchen and other rooms. I have some stained concrete floors, which he does a good job of washing and waxing. Certain tasks, such as wiping down baseboards, cleaning ceiling fans or washing woodwork, are rotated. Brandon is punctual, thorough and willing to fit in extra tasks from time to time. I am very happy with his work and will definitely continue using his service!

- I have asthma and allergic the dust mites, so I did not stay home. This mother and son team do not need any supervision. I simply showed them my home and left. When I returned the house was clean as a whistle.

After using another individual for the past 3 years to clean our house and who provided mediocre service at best, we decided to pursue another direction. Jackie & son have been outstanding - our house has never been so clean. Floors shine, corners are clean & free of cobwebs; it's refreshing and a pleasure coming home to such a clean home after they've finished. I appreciate the time they spend making sure everything is clean and tidy; it's like they clean our house as well as they would clean their own house. Service and quality have been exemplary!

I had never had my home cleaned by a service before, so I didn't really know what to expect. Two people came to clean my home. They arrived on time and completed the work in the time they had estimated. I was quite impressed with how thorough they were. They didn't just dust everything, but actually moved things to ensure they were getting all the dust. They use microfiber cloths that actually remove the dust instead of feather dusters that just displace it. So, a week later, I am not noticing the dust building back up yet. We have dogs, and they did a fantastic job getting the dog hair off the floors and baseboards. And our TV is on a corner stand, so they even cleaned behind it. They did an awesome job with the bathrooms. You could really tell that they put a lot of elbow grease into cleaning the tubs and shower. And the kitchen was cleaned to the same standard, including the inside of the microwave. We have already scheduled another cleaning.
4/22/14 Update: We have continued to have regular cleanings; first monthly, but now it is every two weeks. Brandon does it by himself, and always does a great job. I usually leave him notes if I want something skipped or want him to pay extra attention to something. We have dogs inside during the day, and he has always handled that well. He has been flexible if one of us was home while he was there, adjusting which room he starts on to accommodate our needs. And he is very reliable. We are very satisfied!

I was referred to this company about 2 years ago from a friend and have been using them off and on ever since. They are wonderful! You can always tell when they have been here because it just smells clean. They do a wonderful job dusting and cleaning all the surfaces, getting all the pet hair up and just making sure the house is sparkling. If I have any special requests all I have to do is leave a note on the hall table and I know it will be taken care of to my satisfaction! Any time anyone asks for a cleaning service I always recommend the dirt detectives!

Her name was Jackie. The price was a little on the higher side of what I've paid in the past. I didn't like the service and she has not been back. She wanted to increase the price of the service by another $15 to do it on a regular basis, which I thought was completely ridiculous. I walked around and inspected her work. There was still a ring in one of the toilets and the floors had not been done very well. I was not happy with her. The prices were high.

"When I spoke to the member over the phone, I quoted her a price of $90-$100 based on what she told me about her home, and that would be for 4 hrs. of work, 2 hrs. from me and 2 hrs. from my helper. When I got there, I could immediately see that the job would take way more than 4 hrs., but I honored my word, and did it for $100. The job ended up taking 6 hrs. and I did not charge her for the extra 2 hrs. I thought that was fair. She has alot of breakables and her home is packed with wall-to-wall furniture and other things, so, of course, that would slow the cleaning process down. Lynn said that she was very satisfied with the job, and wanted to set up the next cleaning. Just like any other service, I have to average a certain amount per hour, so I explained that I would have to increase the fee in order to cover the extra time spent to do the job well, we would have to spend an average of 5 hrs. per cleaning. She said that she would have to talk to her husband about it, and that she would call and let me know. She never called me back. Lynn also told me that she had trouble in the past with services becoming complacent, and I think that is because those services realized that for the small fee they were making, they could not spend alot of time on detail. Please, whoever reads this evaluation, also take into consideration my entire history of cleaning. I have many satisfied clients who have been with me for anywhere from 3-22 years. My service is nowhere near what the members are making me out to be. I am honest, reliable, conscientious, and a woman of my word. Please give me a chance to prove that to you. It is a great value for the work that is done. I like that it is a family business; it is her and her son that come. They are prompt and personable. I have been using her for the past three years. I tried other companies in the past with poor results; she is very good and very professional.
