Billy and Nate are the strong silent types. They arrive on time and get to work. Each knows his trade and they work diligently to get the job done, and done correctly. I was a little taken aback by the cost of the work, but went only by their 5-star reviews and didn't bother to get additional quotes. Their service for me in the past was excellent, so I figured it was worth a bit more to know that the work was done well. I have to also give a great shout out to their office administrative person. I had called in a panic when my granite installer moved up the date of his countertop installations, and I needed to get a service appointment set as quickly as possible after that or be without three sinks for additional time. The admin was in the office briefly on December 24th, and although she was technically "not working", she picked up the phone message and heard the panic in my voice and called me right back. Happily I was able to get a service appointment within 48 hours! Kudos to the great folks at Cold is On the Right. I recommend them and will use them again as needed.

I had problems with my kitchen sink faucet.  Cold is on the Right came and fixed the problem and showed me what caused the issue I was having.  They then diagnosed a problem I had with my shower drain.  I would recommend their services.

I called and asked them to come out to give me an estimate for installing a whole-house water filter?not a small job. They wanted to charge me $45 to come out and look to tell me how much they'd charge me to actually do the work. I didn't ask them to pay me $45 to vie for my business. Nobody else I called off Angie's List asked me to pay them to try to win my business. I told them to forget it, plenty of plumbers with great ratings are willing to come out and do reasonable business. Oh, they said if I chose them they'll take it off the bill. So I said, okay, as long as you guarantee in writing you'll beat the lowest competitor's written estimate. They said they were not wiling to make that guarantee. What a crock. If that's how they act before they even earn the business, I can only imagine how they'd be to work with if they were awarded the job.

Prompt, professional and on time.  Plumbers travel in teams of two.  I received my estimate while they were still on site so they answered any questions I had.  Installation took a day.  Cleanup and professionalism excellent.  Had to get them back out for minor issue and they came right away.  Would definitely use again and recommend.

It went perfectly.  They did what I needed to have done and educated my on water pressure requirements.

First of all, I am eternally grateful for discovering this plumber at a time I was having flooring installed and ran into a snag. Door to Dorr Flooring needed a plumber to cut a water line so they could continue their work and I could not find a plumber avail be. Door to Dorr contacted them and they made time in their schedule to come over and cut the line. They returned the following week and rerouted the water line. The team was awesome and did a great job!

A previous plumbing firm told us a lot of problems we were experiencing either couldn't be fixed, or incorrectly "fixed" things that later just broke again.  "Cold is on the Right" came in, quickly diagnosed the problems (correctly!) and fixed the lot!  Couldn't be happier.

All work except for the shower valve was completed on the first day., with the shower valve being installed on the second day by a different crew   A couple of issues that cropped up after the work was completed were dealt with promptly.
The crew who did most the work were polite, professional, and good at customer communication.  The crew who installed the shower valve on a different day were less communicative but performed their work competently  All in all this was a very positive experience.

After a flat tire caused a 1 day delay they came as promised. They were courteous and professional and admired the faucet we had bought for them to fit. They were efficient and left no mess to sweep up or mop up.

I needed a dishwasher installed.  Since my dishwasher is not directly next to my sink, Home Depot wouldn't install it.  Home Depot installs it for $75 plus $20 for parts plus $15 for disposal, so $110.  I thought a plumber would be 2 or 2.5 times as expensive, not almost 4 times ($425, and that was with the Angie's list discount).  I should have asked for their price for installing a dishwasher upfront!  It's $275, which seems like a lot, but doesn't double the cost of my dishwasher.  But then other stuff is added on.  So, I would say do not use them for dishwasher installation, even if it is more than six feet away from your sink.  You can get a qualified handyman to do it for about $150 to $200.  On the upside, they were very responsive getting me scheduled.  It took longer for them to get there than they said though, and I'm pretty sure the guys went to get lunch while they got the part, so I missed a lot of work.

They rearranged schedules to fit me in.  They came out about 2 hours after my call and worked hard to finish quickly.  The work looks good and it was a very professional experience.

The plumbers showed up on time and took the time to listen to what we needed.  While they were checking our gas lines, they kept us up to date and informed.  They finished quickly and thoroughly. 

Extremely satisfied with this experience. Excellent scheduling and communication. Courteous, professional, and knowledgeable employees. I will going back to Cold is on the Right for any future plumbing needs.

It went very well.

We needed a water heater replaced. We considered several companies and narrowed to Cold Is On The Right and two others. Brendin, the crew lead, came by our home to assess the situation. We discussed options and decided to go tank-less. Their price was competitive with other companies and we selected Cold Is On The Right because they were more knowledgeable and easier to work with than the other companies. Brenden showed up with a crew and made sure they knew exactly what to do and he went over everything with me. Their crews show up in twos, one master plumber and one assistant, so that while the master plumber is doing the technical work the assistant is handling everything else; very efficient which means saving us money. They covered our wood floors and carpet. Our original water heaters were removed, the attic was modified to mount the tankless and our tankless was installed and running in no time. I talked with the crews about what they were doing and about some other things we were considering, water softener for one. They were friendly, easy to work with and made useful suggestions. Everything was completed to our satisfaction including our flooring was kept in perfect condition. In the end I felt like they were part of the family. We love our tankless water heater and think Cold Is On The Right is the best choice.
