Buena Vista Property Services

This started off as a pretty good experience, which is why I'm giving them two stars. 

We heard about this company from my husband's gym coach, and they were very responsive in terms of providing quotes and assessments of different projects I wanted done on a property we're renovating. When it came to billing and arranging time to schedule initial work, they were great! They cut down some problem trees we had in the back, put up a temporary railing for me due to mobility issues and completed dry wall work that another vendor did not finish. 

We were so happy with the work that they completed that we did not think anything of paying the remaining balance for the work they had left to do, which was to finish up the front gate and patch up a ceiling hole that they forgot to complete. That was the biggest mistake we made! It feels like as soon as we paid the final amount, they went missing. They stopped responding to phone calls and emails, and when they did, they would promise to come by to finish the work or call back. This never happened. 

My husband and I finally came to the realization that these people, who were seemingly honest and trustworthy, just walked off with our hard earned money, which I'm sure any homeowner would not be happy about. 

I would suggest thinking long and hard before hiring this company, and if you do, only provide payment for the work that was completed and not a cent more!

Lindy and her crew were very friendly and pleasant and always on time.  One neighbor who talked to her about their yard commented to me later how friendly they were.  Their work was top notch.  Lindy takes great pride in her job and makes sure the project is done in a timely manner and to your liking.  I received several compliments from neighbors in my subdivision on my yard.  Several dropped by and wanted her to come by their house and give them quotes.  I plan on having her come back twice a year and add mulch and do additional maintenance as needed.  I have recommended her to several people at work and friends.  All the plants look beautiful and the grass is growing great.  I am extremely pleased with their work and love my newly landscaped yard.  Her quote was reasonable and worth every dollar.  I highly recommend Lindy and her crew.  They made the whole project a pleasant experience.

Wonderful customer service: friendly, responsive, and prompt. Estimate was well-priced and they were able to come out within 3 days of of me calling to remove the tree along with all the debris. The job went great and our yard was perfectly cleaned up they did a quality job and at a great price-much less than I expected. We will be using Buena Vista in the future.

This was the first time I received yard maintenance / tree services from  Buena Vista Property Services and  I was not disappointed. Richard was prompt. He arrived a few minutes before his scheduled appointment time, which I appreciated. It allowed him to survey the area that needed the most work. I could have had him come out before hand for a quote but my schedule did not allow for the additional time. He was able to give me an affordable price. He assured me Buena Vista Property Services'  pricing is consistent with other  local company prices but I found it to be less expensive, actually. Richard is not only  punctual but also  precise. The trees in my yard have never looked better. Even though he was busy at work he answered all of my questions about the importance of tree maintenance. Richard was very mindful of my adjoining neighbors. He was careful to prevent debris from entering their yards. Richard actually removed all the leaves, branches, and even the tiniest of sticks from my lawn after the trimming was complete. Clearly he is detail oriented and I'm confident in his skills as an Arborist. The quality of his work and obvious care he puts into each task are evident. I am planning on having them return annually to continue upkeep and care for my trees. Richard went over the stump removal strategy with me and helped me understand the best option. He had all the necessary equipment and preformed each job with utmost safety in mind. I'm now certain Buena Vista Property Services is the best company for the job. Richard took all the appropriate steps to protect my lawn during the stump removal. He also hauled off all the tree trimmings as well as the stump. I should also mention Richard is skillful at selecting native and adaptive plants. I'll be sure to add pictures of the gardens in full bloom. I'm looking forward to spring and summer now that I have a well maintained yard with hardy drought resistant plants to liven it up. Honestly, my " outdoor living space" is now amazing. It doesn't do it any justice to simply refer to it as a yard anymore. It is my hope that once you've read my review you will be confident in your decision to use Buena Vista Property Services. I understand using a new service is always unnerving. You shouldn't feel that way when contacting Buena Vista Property Services. Rest assured they have the experience, equipment, and valid insurance you want when hiring someone to care for your trees and lawn. The office staff are also very helpful and courteous. I'm so sure you'll be just as happy as I am with Buena Vista Property Services and the owner, Richard, that I highly recommend them to anyone needing yard and/or tree maintenance in Austin and the surrounding areas. One last thing, while it wasn't a service I requested, Richard noticed my mail box was leaning to one side due to wood rot. He went to his truck and pulled out a 2' x 4' and fixed my mail box just to be nice... no additional charge. I offered to pay the cost of materials, at least. He said he enjoyed answering all my questions about maintaining the integrity of my existing trees and that was payment enough for the mail box repair. To summarize Buena Vista Property Services is an outstanding company and I am more than pleased with all the services rendered.

They were fantastic! They answered my phone call and came out to my property within 24 hours to give me a free estimate. They were knowledgeable on the type of tree needing removal and why it had died. They made sure my house and roof was not compromised during the whole process. Would definitely recommend this service.
