Having never sold a home before, I was lost in how to handle the entire process. Beth was wonderful at walking us through every step. She offered the right suggestions in what items we needed to do to prepare our house to put it on the market, as well as when ,and if to do an Open House. All of her recommendations were spot on, as the results ended up with 7 offers within a 2 1/2 day period. We sold our home for above asking price, and the closing was a breeze. In addition, Beth was very patient and professional as she helped us find our new home. She provided us with a website to help us with our search, and she was always ready and available to show us homes we were interested in. At the point of negotiations, she provided great advice and we couldn't believe how easy the process was with her help. Thank you Beth! We are loving our new home!

Beth is not only a wonderful friend, but also an exceptional realtor. If she isn’t already your friend before the home buying/selling process she will be after. She will tell you all of her clients are her friends. That’s the type of person you want helping make such a big decision.

We initially spoke with Beth about the thought of moving closer in to town. Here first suggestion was to set up a customized portal to see what was available in the areas of interest. She also drove me around to just explore the neighborhoods to get a feel for what we liked. Beth knows the market, neighborhoods & schools and was so quick to keep us posted on things hitting the market before they listed. We were not completely familiar with all of the areas, but she literally knows Austin and the surrounding areas like the back of her hand. To this day I still ask her for advice on places to go around town.   

We fell in love with a house and were prepared to make an (but not immediately) Beth show us the same house 3 different times (on a weekend, weekday rush hour and late at night) she was completely accommodating and didn’t hesitate at our request. Once we decided to put in our offer we needed to list my house. Our offer had to be contingent on us selling my house first. In this hot market getting someone to agree to a contingency is not the easiest thing. Luckily Beth being a great negotiator worked the deal and wrote in some special clauses to ensure we would get the house (without fear of losing it to another buyer). In the meantime, I had to get my current house on the market within 48 hours. Within this time, Beth went above and beyond to help spruce up, stage and photograph the house to get it on the market quickly. It was priced well, but she also did her homework to make sure we would get top dollar. The first day it listed we had 6 showings and 2 offers in the first weekend. We accepted an offer and were under contract to sell my house and buy the new house we love so much! All during this time, Beth had multiple houses and clients she was working with yet we felt like all the attention was on us. She is great at multitasking and is extremely responsive at all times. She kept us informed every step of the process to ensure we knew exactly what was going on.

Beth is hands down the most knowledgeable, responsive and has the highest integrity of any realtor out there. Her professional yet friendly demeanor made the whole process painless and stress-free. As a first time home seller, I was unsure of exactly how to go about the process or what to expect, but thanks to Beth Barlow, my experience was incredibly positive!  

To begin with, Beth researched the market in my neighborhood and sat down with me to present the data and pricing options - I really appreciated her asking and valuing my input during this stage and throughout the whole process.  At the same time, she provided me with suggestions and contacts to help get my house in best shape possible before listing it.  Within the first weekend, we were able to get multiple offers and ultimately top dollar for my house.  

Along with what I'd consider a very strong understanding of the greater Austin housing market, I was highly impressed by her communication --- responsive, proactive, and always happy to explain anything I didn't understand.  I truly felt like she had my best interest in mind at all times.  I can't thank her enough for her patience and going above and beyond -- especially working with me to sign the contract initially; via cell phone while I was on a camping trip!  During the closing process she ensured that I was in the loop at all times and worked hard to make everything happen smoothly.

Beth is the best realtor! She is professional, extremely knowledgeable, and the best part is she goes above and beyond her call of duty! When you work with Beth, you never feel like you are "out of the loop". She is incredibly easy to contact and doesn't leave you waiting for updates. What stands out to me about Beth that put her above the rest, were the actions she took AFTER our closing. We had discrepancies in our inspection that jeopardized out home owners insurance and Beth stepped in with personal assistance in order to make sure that we began a happy start in our new home. Beth is 100% committed to the satisfaction of her clients, and her dedication shows in everything she does.

We enlisted Beth when we were looking for a home summer 2015.  Given that one of us travelled for work often, it made it challenging to coordinate all that's necessary in the purchase of a home.  However, Beth was very accommodating to us, and with the help of today's technology, we didn't skip a beat in moving everything along on schedule.  Beth was always prompt, responsive, accommodating, and professional.  She always followed through in everything she committed to, and went above and beyond in areas that we would not have expected.  Her experience allowed her to guide us through things to think about, and counsel us wisely on decisions.  She facilitated well amongst all the parties involved, and advocated well for us.  She is in tune with the Austin market, well knowledged in real estate, resourceful, truly invests herself in the wellness of her clients, and it is clear that she truly enjoys her profession - what a great combination!  

Beth was very prepared and super professional. She gave us a very good quality estimate on the house and brought up some things we hadn't thought of to improve the value. Of the three realtors we interviewed, Beth had the enthusiasm and network that I thought would sell the house the fastest. In the end, mother wanted us to chose the realtor who had family in the senior community where she relocated. But I would absolutely call on Beth in the future for my own needs and would heartily recommend her to others.

It went extremely well. Beth seems to know the market value of every house in this city. We felt confident that we were only going after the houses that were worth our time. She was incredibly responsive and extremely professional. When a bidding war broke out and I decided to walk away from the table, we moved on to other options. But a few days later, the listing agent of the first house was calling Beth back to say that the first buyer was playing games and had upset the seller, who wound up killing the deal. This speaks volumes to her integrity in letting me move away from an uncomfortable situation, and to her professionalism that the seller and seller's agent would rather deal with her than the agent who won the bidding war. It was a win all the way around.

Before Beth listed our condo, she walked us through some of the improvements that would bring the best return on investment. She was honest, friendly, and very easy to work with. She helped us price our condo at a competitive, aggressive price point, and we were under contract in 7 days.  At that time, Austin was at the height of its real estate heyday, and the market was insane. Beth used our wish-list criteria to help us narrow down what part of the city we wanted to live in. She was full of information, tidbits, advice--but never once did I feel pressured or overwhelmed; just helped in the right direction.
Beth was a reassuring voice throughout the process. When we found a home we loved, she made sure that we got our bid in at the right time, and it was accepted 48 hours after we first viewed the home (and chosen over five other competing bids). She made sure we had all our paperwork ready when it was necessary, recommended competent and trustworthy associates, and made the process extremely easy. There was almost nothing stressful about buying our home; it amazes me to look back and say that, but it's true. 
We have no plans to move anytime soon, but I would never consider using another real estate professional other than Beth Barlow.

I was moving out of state, and needed to sell my Rosedale home.  I knew a few people who had used her, and knew that she knew and understood the white-hot close-in market well.  She developed a complete strategy for selling home - designed to maximize my returns and minimize my time - and my stress (I was buying a co-op in NYC) .  She achieved far more than I had expected - and did so in a fair and efficient way (the process to me was as important as the outcome).

Beth is just the BEST Realtor. I immediately reached out to her when I needed to purchase a piece of land in the hill country, when I was looking for a rental house upon my move to Austin, and in selling my condo in south Austin. In each situation, Beth was extremely professional, personable and fun. Even when things got a little tricky (as they always seem to do in real estate transactions), Beth kept a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She took care of everything; I didn't even know there WERE any tricky items until after the fact because she handled it without worrying me with the details.
For the land we purchased, she negotiated with the sellers in clearing parts of the land, reducing the price, and getting extra inspections. We closed on time and with no problems (that I was aware of! :)).
For the rental house, we only had 2 days to find one that would accommodate our needs and accept our Great Dane. She lined up 5 places to view in the area we wanted and we chose one we liked. She negotiated the contract for a few items that needed revisions and connected us with the property manager. She went the extra mile to assure the owners that our big dog was gentle and well trained, thus getting us the house.
So when it came time to sell my condo in south Austin, Beth was the natural choice. She helped me decide what items needed updating and would give me the biggest return on my money and which items wouldn't. She gave suggestions and help with staging the property after we did upgrades. And she held an open house the first weekend it listed. We received multiple offers above asking price and after deciding on one offer, she did all the back and forth with negotiating, inspections, coordinating the closing, etc. She was great and again, professional, personable, and fun to work with.
Not only is she easy to work with, but Beth is a go-getter. I'd send her an email and she'd get right back with an answer, even if her answer was just to tell me she'd be back in touch soon. I loved her responsiveness because I was never kept waiting wondering if she had received my call. Each time there was a new item to sign or request or do, she was on it right away. I loved knowing that whatever I needed, she would take care of it and I wouldn't have to worry about it.
I would HIGHLY recommend Beth for any real estate transaction. Buying or selling property is stressful and complicated to say the least. Beth made it fun and basically painless. All I had to do was sign a dozen papers! Use Beth, you won't regret it.

The best part of having Beth for an agent is that she loves real estate and makes the whole process fun.  Yes, even the normally stressful negotiation parts!  Twice during the negotiations, we would have happily agreed to pay a higher price, but Beth suggested we counter offer lower and the lower offers were accepted.  She saved us a lot of money!  Also, she has a great eye for seeing past minor issues that might have turned us off from a property.  We looked into the backyard of one house and saw a jungle, but Beth saw the really nice planter boxes hiding under some overgrowth and the lovely shaded porch.  Looking again, we could see that all it needed was a little bit of weeding.  We cannot recommend Beth highly enough, she is fantastic!!
