"Hi [Member Name Removed]! Unfortunately, as you know, we were faced with some unusual plumbing issues that the original house builder left you with. These were unforeseeable at the time of measure and inspection - we didn't find them until we demo'd the area. At that time, we were faced with a few different options as to how to remedy the situation. We gave you the number of several independent plumbers who told you the same thing that we did - you would have to cut through the foundation to make it right. This was obviously going to be extremely expensive and so we opted, with you signing off, to make your shower a tiny bit smaller so as not to have to leave you with a large plumbing bill! I think your end results were stunning, but we hate that you had to deal with all the the shoddy workmanship of the original home builder that you were left with. We apologise that you had to go through all that you did, but we're happy you were pleased which what our installers were capable of doing to install the shower as best they could."
