Their service was fine and there were no problems. They were efficient and showed up on time. I had no trouble scheduling and there was no damage to my furniture.

After shopping around and comparing costs in Austin for movers, Aloha seemed too good to be true.  They had great reviews, and were more cost effective than several of the other companies I looked at.  They were great!  It took just two of their troopers to move our home.  They worked efficiently and smoothly, and were friendly, as well.  We'd definitely recommend them to anyone who is moving in the city.

Great.  The 2-man crew arrived just ahead of schedule after first calling to check first.  DJ's knowledge of grand piano moving was top-shelf.  These guys seemed to do everything right and they were a pleasure to be around.  They seemed to want to please the customer if possible.  The moving out and the moving in were both done well and I just can't say enough good things about DJ and William.  I wish everyone could have their move go this well.

Aloha relies on the customer supplied inventory to provide the basis for the bid.  After conducting my first inventory from 'memory' , I was comparing their bid with that of another mover (that performed an inventory on-site).  A competitive market alone couldn't account for the big difference.   A second room-by-room inventory and discussion with the Aloha job coordinator answered my questions.  Aloha was very accommodating and scheduled our move for a single day and on fairly short notice.   We'd originally asked them to pack our kitchen, nothing else.  A couple days before the move, I called them to add packing the contents of the garage and a large china cabinet which they gladly accepted.  Their crew arrived as scheduled and after surveying the job indicated it would be better to pack one day and move the next...I accepted.  The crew was very energetic and by 1330hrs they were almost finished.  Since they weren't going to move anything until the next day, to save money on the packing charges, my wife cut them loose.  Neither myself, my wife, or any of the crew considered the two ice chest on the back porch holding the contents of our refrigerator since the night before....we're rookies, I wish the professionals had suggested moving the refrigerator to the new house (1 mile away) and hooking it up.  Again on moving day they showed up on time and got after it without delay.  I was impressed that the whole crew were very motivated and got the job done with a minimum of delays.  With a few exceptions, my property was handled carefully and made the trip in the same condition as before the move.  I did notice that sometimes a guy would try to move more than what I'd consider a manageable load for one man (not weight-wise but the awkwardness of the load). We have a two story house with a 90 degree turn half way down the stairs.  This is probably how the headboard to our bed got significantly dinged.  Everything seemed to make the trip and, with the exception of the headboard, no other damage has been found.  With that in mind, we've only just begun to unpack and have only touched about a quarter of our stuff.
The additional cost for packing and materials was fair and they were upfront about the rates.  It would have been a real mess if they hadn't come to our rescue with the packing.
The crew was easy to work with and very respectful.  I'd use them again without reservation.

Tim Gates at Apple did a great job of quoting and coordinating the move including honoring an Angie's List coupon from Mustang Movers who they partner with. The movers arrived on time, loaded in a reasonable amount of time then carefully moved our items into the condo. The movers were very accommodating. Also, Apple is storing some of our items in their storage facility at a very reasonable price.

We sold our house and were getting ready to move all our belongings into storage.  We had planned on loading the moving pods ourselves but after packing we decided that was not a good option.  Using Angie's list, we selected a few moving companies and called for cost estimates and schedule dates.  We selected Aloha Moving.  This was a great decision.
We had the first moving pod delivered and a two-man Aloha team came out to do the loading.  In two hours they had carefully wrapped, packed and stacked the pod from end to end.  Then, they gave us an estimate about how many more pods would be needed.  The estimate was one more pod with some garage "stuff" left over.  So we had a second pod delivered and a second two-man team came out to do the loading.  Again, the second team did an excellent job.  They too wrapped, packed and stacked the pod from end to end.  And was able to pack much of the garage "stuff".  (The remaining stuff we took to a local storage facility.)
We feel using Aloha Moving was a great decision.  The scheduling was easy, the cost reasonable, and the two two-man teams were experienced, professional, careful with our belongings AND careful with our two-story house.  I highly recommend Aloha Moving.  Moving made easy, well, at least easier.

They were very professional and easy to work with thoroughout the process, starting with the estimate on the phone throughout the move. They use a different estimating process than All my Sons, who we had used before,a nd I found it to be much more reasonable and actually a lower porice overall. There were no hidden or last minute "surcharge fees" like travel time, fuel surcharges, etc. that others have tried to add in the past.  I would definitely use them again.

Very well. Miguel and Adam were punctual, polite, friendly, fast, and very professional.  We were all done in just a little over 3 hours.

This is a tale of two experiences.  Things did not start off well with Mustang.  We had scheduled the move weeks in advance yet the person who took over coordinating our job didn't seem to know about it.  Part one of the move scheduling was a disaster, working late into the night, having to work Sundays, underbidding the job and not finishing almost 1/3 of the work.  I stopped the job and made it clear that I wasn't going to pay full price.  Got a call back from a new person, indicating my original contact had been let go for similar problems.  Alejandro came out, got things back on track from a scheduling perspective, got a good understanding of the job and all went great from that point on.
Now, the only thing that saved me from giving at least a partially bad score was the moving crew themselves.  We had most of the same crew each time and they were FABULOUS.  They initially walked into a tense situation with me being mad about the late scheduling, realized that the job was MUCH larger than they knew about and went out of their way to reassure me that, no matter what, they would take care of me.  They were just as frustrated with the prior scheduler as I was but it never showed.  They were professional, worked a 12+ hour day and came back the next day after working a full day at another job.  Miguel was the crew leader and provided unbelievable customer service.  He gave me his personal cell phone number to let me know his schedule, pulled crews together and kept everyone on task.  I just can't say enough about how wonderful he was.  He also had Carlos, DJ, Adam and some others whose names I can't remember on the job...and they were all wonderful.
Bottom line, customer service problems (BIG ones) at the outset, having Miguel as crew lead helped save the day for Part I and then Mustang appears to have quickly handled its personnel problem and it was smooth sailing from there.  And, even though they had drastically underbid the project, they didn't try to renegotiate the price for Part II.  Ended up a very positive experience!

The crew showed up on time within the estimated window. They were professional and efficient. They took great care with the items they were moving to protect them which wasn't easy since it was raining off and on during the move. The move was across an alley so not loading or unloading of a truck was involved. They hand carried everything. We had some initial questions about what they could and couldn't move but they were quickly resolved and they moved everything. I think there were initially in the mindset of a normal load/unload move which would require different rules than carrying things across an alley. In the end, we were very happy. The price was fair. They worked continually and efficiently. We will use them again.

It is with a great deal of pleasure and satisfaction that I write this review.  I am a Retired US Army Colonel and have moved 26 times.  Without hesitation I will state that this was the most professional move my wife and I have ever experienced!  We had a Moving Company already arranged but had to cancel at the last minute due to administrative issues with the Builder of the new home.  Mustang was recommended to us as our previously scheduled Mover (Aloha) but could not accommodate our change of date due to scheduling issues.  Joshua at Aloha Movers HIGHLY recommended Mustang and effected the coordination with Mustang on our behalf.  Alejandro immediately called and scheduled the pick-up.  Mustang arrived EXACTLY when they said they would!  The movers, Adam & Miguel were OUTSTANDING...Mustang charges by the hour.  These two PROFESSIONALS ensured that we got our money's worth...PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT I AM ABOUT TO WRITE!!!  It was over 102 degrees during the course of the move...both loading and unloading...these two men NEVER TOOK A BREAK and LITERALLY RAN FROM THE HOUSE TO THE VAN...I MEAN RAN carrying furniture and boxes!!!
There are not enough superlatives to describe the OUTSTANDING manner in which Adam & Miguel represented themselves and MUSTANG!!!

I had the joy of working with Mustang Movers recently.  Alejandro, in the office, quickly organized the date and time of the move, and the appropriate resources -- exactly as need on timely basis.
On a tight schedule in extremely hot weather, Carlos and DJ worked energetically to pack and move a two bedroom apartment to a storage unit.  They accomplished the impossible by making it all fit in the unit. They went beyond being considerate and patient -- they even bought me lunch and cold drink.  GIVE THESE GUYS A RAISE -- THEY DESERVE IT!

Mustang Movers did a great job again!  We used them to move from Austin to Houston in 2011 and recently used them to move back.  This time they showed up to help finish packing and professionally moved our items to Austin in a timely and safe manner.  Reason price and the movers were great.  Completely satisfied.

Punctual, professional, courteous! Four movers with one as point. All four were extremely professional and courteous. They packed up misc items then loaded all items - including boxes I had packed - in their trailers. Followed us to our new home then unloaded all items with care. My only negative is they did not look at what room was written on each box to ensure they went to the appropriate room. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Mustang Movers for local or within state moves.

We didn't use them but they are probably a real good company. We really liked the person that came out. They were professional and they seemed like they would have been really good too. They were prompt.

I'm ambivalent about how to score this move. The 3 workers were friendly, cooperative, to a point, and worked very hard. When they arrived they spent about 7-10 minutes reviewing the inventory against what we had listed. I pointed out some things that might not be on the list and they found some things. I felt, however, that they could have spent more time making sure they had a good grasp of the scope of the job. They stuck with the agreed upon price and I signed the contract. They then started moving and at first all was well. Then, at mid afternoon, I heard them talking to each other about how they shouldn't always say "yes" to the dispatcher on taking a job. It appeared they had plans for Saturday night and things weren't going as well as they had planned. They had told me in the morning that they should be able to do the job with 2 truckloads. Now it was becoming obvious that it would take 3. After waiting to see if they were going to tell me about this, I finally enquirer about their plans to complete the job. The lead on the job said that if they did a 3rd truck it would take them into the night. They also said there was more in the house than on the inventory. They had had an opportunity to see the scope initially and to possibly get another truck (trailer) as it became obvious they had underestimated. I want to reiterate again that they all worked very hard and were very polite. The problem was that the lead was contending that I could probably move the rest of the stuff myself and they had only planned for 2 loads. I finally pointed out that I was 57 years old and wasn't able to do that. They finally said they would do the 3rd trailer but told me it would cost more. I agreed to this as it was a fair change based upon the earlier inventory, but I had signed a contract in the morning that agreed on a price with the only price increase being if we exceeded the box count, which we did by 30 boxes. They also charged more for items I had pointed out in the morning audit of the inventory.

Moving is a very stressful time and the additional stress cased by thinking I might be left holding the bag was really bothersome. I sent an "email" on Mustang Movers website' feedback page and never heard back. I felt I paid a generally OK price and they worked very hard BUT the thought of them potentially bailing out on me with the job only being 2/3 done gave them an F on professionalism and some lower scores in other categories. I would not use them again.

First off this moving company uses contractors, the address on Jon Brown Lane houses multiple moving companies.  the only ones I'm sure of are Mustang and Apple Moving.  In fact, of the two guys who showed up to do my move, one was from Mustang and the other was from Apple.  Either way the guys who showed up to do the move were great.  They arrived an hour and a half early and got my one bedroom apartment moved out and unloaded at my new house (~15 miles away) in exactly three hours.  They were very careful of furniture and of doorways and corners, it was easy to tell they cared about not causing damage to your things.  I did pack my own boxes however, so if you need them to pack for you, there will be additional charges.   The only monkey wrench in the whole process was when it came to moving an old motorcycle.  The quote I had gotten on the phone included moving the bike, but the movers refused to move it due to insurance concerns.   They called the office and wound up moving it, but since I'd mentioned it when requesting the quote, I was disappointed that it was even an issue.  This was my second time using Mustang Movers and I'd still use these guys again.

They had vehicle problems in middle of move took 2.5hrs longer.  Second time I've used them both times there was a delay.  They are professional and handled things with care.

They are quick and also sent a representative out to do an inventory of the move for free. They charged us what was quoted.

Great experience they were prompt and professsional.
