Ace Discount Glass & Doors

Excellent, prompt service. We had used them before and as usual their work is outstanding. The window looks great, we are most pleased with the workmanship. Would not hesitate to recommend them, and use them again.

They did a beautiful job and were very reasonably priced. They were very professional. I have recommended them to friends, we were very impressed with them.

They came right out when I called them. They gave me the estimate quite quickly.

I was impressed by the promptness, the efficiency and the professionalism of this place. Work was done in about an hour. It's not a fancy office, but it was a comfortable wait... and I deeply appreciate people who think ahead for a customer's needs.

They did a professional installation. Very happy with the results. Any questions I had between the day they first came and measured, and the installation date, where answered quickly and thoroughly.

Ace was the 3rd vendor I tried to get to repair and provide replacement parts for an older window. One vendor was 3x the price and would not guarantee they could source the parts for repair. 2nd vendor did some reglazes and promised me they would make the repair and did not. Ace was responsive, knowledgeable, sourced the parts and made the repair easily for minimal charge. They're cost for the reglazes was as good or better than the other discount glass co. I tried. Overall, very impressed. Excellent customer service and responsiveness. Great pricing and excellent value. Would highly recommend.

The responsiveness and professionalism were excellent, before and during the job.

I was surprised that their quote was 3 times what I had originally paid, but they were originally the least expensve and most responsive. Long story short, the glass that they installed did not fit (it was too small), and it was not frosted (as originally purchased). They then wanteded to "fix" the problem by painting the doors, attaching sweeps to the upper and lower edges of the doors, etc. I asked "how about just replacing these with what your were suppose to provide?" but they insisted that there would be no credit given for their error, as to them, it was "close enough." Long story short, I did not pay them for the remaing balance (50% of job total), since they refused to make things right and quit responding to my calls/emails.

Phone service was excellent. Prompt answer by a human, helpful information. I dropped off the two projects and they were ready for pick-up the next day. Pleasant counter person, knowlegable about options and very helpful. I will definitely use them again.

They ordered a low-e pane of tempered glass for the sliding glass door in our bedroom. When the door squeaked after installation, they suggested we replace the wheels, which they did quickly. We really like the glass, and now the door glides like a dream. They did a great job and were pleasant to work with.

Ace's Jeremy Blisard was far and away the best of three contractors given the opportunity to bid this job. Binswanger quoted $900 for ONE window - Ace did THREE for $850. These were three originally-installed (1994) Alenco insulated-glass windows that had "fogged". Another contractor promised a quote, then never re-contacted us, despite repeated calls. Ace came out, measured, determined the proper glass tint, ordered the glass, and returned to install them just a week later. Absolutely beyond reproach...highly recommended.

Readily gave an estimate over the phone. Promptly returned my call to schedule an appointment. Showed up on time. After taking measurements, provided a final cost for labor and materials that was very close to the phone estimate. New window was delivered within time they estimated and they returned to install it on the agreed upon day and time. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Polite at first. Prompt to look at the job (and take 50% payment), but didn't have tempered glass on the truck, so they promised to get there early the next morning. Next day they hadn't shown by 1 pm. I called and they rescheduled for the NEXT day. Price was also higher than quoted by phone.

Company never contacted me....kept me waiting for someone to call back.

I received a phone call back 3 days after my inquiry. The gentleman told me he would call me Saturday morning to tell me what time he was coming over to provide estimate. He never called (it has been 10 days).

We called Ace to come out & give us an estimate on replacing a cracked double pane window. They said they would come the following day. After two days & no word, we called back & once again they said they would come out to give us an estimate, but they never did.

The glasswork they did for me was great. None of the glass was scratched or flawed in anyway. The crew that did the work was very friendly and nice to work with. I felt that they had a very competitive price.

Ace did a good job repairing the two windows that had been broken. They even cleaned out the windows before installing them again. They were really some great people and I am pleased they did such a good job. They showed up as scheduled and they cleaned up all the mess they made in the process. I would not have any problem hiring them again.
