Based on your description during the telephone interaction, we thought we could help with your particular plumbing issue. As it turned out, we could not, but we were able to refer you to a reputable, specialized leak detection company AND did not charge for the time our licensed Plumber spent analyzing the nature of your leak. While we regret the inconvenience any customer suffers anytime they have home service issues, there are unfortunately going to be times that the nature of having to describe a problem over the telephone, results in temporary missteps in finding the ultimate solution. ABC regrets your inconvenience."

"Thank you for taking the time to comment on our services, please allow us to address your comments. There were two different issues concerning the customer's home. ABC was called out for a no charge termite inspection. Our inspector did examine the premises and found no evidence of active termites. However, as a standard part of our pest control practices, the inspector priced termite service which is preventative in nature and provides the homeowner with the peace of mind that their home is protected from termites for 12 months. That price was $648 and is very much in-line with our standard Termite pricing for a house that’s the size and construction of the customer's home. We routinely offer termite service & protection on all pest control inspections and bids. Additionally, during the termite inspection, our inspector noted signs of rodent activity (droppings in the residence). Because it would be poor customer service to ignore (even though we were there on a termite inspection) signs of rodents in the home, we priced rodent removal (trapping) and then, the sealing of the rodent access points. Simply eliminating rodents without sealing the access and egress points is not usually in the best interest of homeowners. This pricing includes a one year warranty, was quoted at $642 and it too, is very much in-line with standard pricing. While it’s always unfortunate that a homeowner incurs costs and is inconvenienced by insects and or rodents, ABC’s practices are always in keeping with homeowners best interests. In this case, the inspector detailed what they felt like were necessary optional offerings and, as in all cases, the homeowner made what they felt to be the best decision for their home."
