Randi was awesome! She helped me start organizing my hoarded sewing/craft room and made it fun. She’s non-judgmental towards people like me with ADHD, and is very personable in her professionalism. She was genuinely interested in my life and made a big effort to find out exactly what I needed even before the appointment. The little nuggets/ tools for organization that she slipped in (without me consciously realizing it) during those 3 hours actually sunk in within minutes of her departure, and inspired me to want to declutter the whole house and donate what’s not serving me now. She’s coming back in about 2 weeks to continue working her magic! Highly recommend her services!

It is going very well. She is knowledgeable, pleasant, dependable, and actually makes the chores I detest but must do enjoyable. This is ongoing -- she currently comes for 3 hours about every two weeks.

Randi is so nice, helpful, compassionate, and understanding. She gave me the tools to sort through things on my own after a number of visits where we went through a few rooms. She is highly professional with a warm heart. I would definitely recommend her. She helped me get things donated, stored, properly labeled, and put away in the right place. It was an invaluable service.

"I had responded to this review when I originally read it. Not sure why it was never posted. I was very surprised by [Member Name Removed]'s review. Unless the client's needs aren't clearly expressed, I usually give my clients the assistance that's asked for & then some. There are certain things I can't do for safety reasons, like moving heavy furniture, unless I have a strong assistant helping. I'm also not a cleaning service, but I always give my clients the names of local cleaning services. All of the business resources I offer to my clients are local companies that are known for their good work. It's a shame that [Member Name Removed] thought I offered substandard referrals. [Member Name Removed] could have called me to discuss her concerns, which I would have rectified, but no such conversation took place. I also don't charge what she's quoted in her review."

Randi is a pro. Delighted to have met her. Received her name as a referral from an old friend of  mine. When I first contacted her, I actually was calling for a potential customer and needed a bid on services. We talked a while and I realized she could help me too! She emailed a questionnaire over and inquired about the job prior to arriving. On the day of her service she showed at my door with her "tool kit" and I was delighted. She literally brought tools to help me organize my office better. We improved upon my filing system then discussed ways to pace myself to be more productive when the day gets slower.
I will keep her info for referrals for my clients. She is on point, sharp, helps with talking out strategies for organization and self management. Best of all she's easy to get along with and great to work with. Delighted to refer her.

Randi did a great job incorporating my inherited furniture and decorative items into my house. My home now looks and feels a lot more cozy and inviting and my garage is finally decluttered.  YAY!!!
Randi and I worked great together to get it all all the furniture arranged and put in place.  She is very easy going, professional and such a hard worker.  She is like a energizer bunny..never runs out of energy.

I love the new food prep station in my kitchen, all my ingredients are group together by use, I have a shelf dedicated to ingredients for baking, another for smoothie ingredients, and then a couple of turn tables for condiments and spices.  All located near my cooking utensils, refrig and ample counter workspace for prepping.

Next we headed to the master closet and evaluated ever item in there as to keep, donate or toss.  Those that I kept were hung back in the closet according to style.  Belts were organized too.  Now the only items on the closet floor are laundry baskets.

I lived in my condo for 3 years and had never made it a nest for myself.  I needed help, I was frozen, unable to make decisions on where to put things, what to keep and what to let go.  In the kitchen Randi taught me to group like things together, store the things you use the most in convenient locations and if you do not use something frequently but want to keep it "archive it" up in the higher cabinets.  Randi didn't tell me to specifically get rid of something but after working with her I came to realized on my own that some things needed to go. I had stuff in my kitchen I never used (gadgets, small appliances),,donated.  I had a collection of bottles under my kitchen sink for a couple of years I was saving to use for vases and others for canning jelly someday.....they now are in the recycle bin.  I had torn dog toys waiting to be repaired..now they are in the trash.
These are only a few of her many suggestions for improving my storage challenges:
- corralling my supplies under sinks.
- hooks to provide a more convenient bath towel location at my shower door
- shelving in toilet room and bath closet
- storing cleaning supplies in each bathroom
- put exercise equipment and camping equipment in clear plastic tubs and store them in the garage
After Randi visited she sent me an email detailing every suggestion she made for each area in my home. She also sent info on decision making, records retention guidelines and mail handling.
I had been wanting to get help for 3 years.  I am so glad I finally made the decision to send Randi an email asking for her help.
I have already made a 2nd appt for later this month to tackle another area of my home.

I cannot wait to cook dinner now that Randi has organized my kitchen. Not only is every shelf neat and tidy, but each item has been placed so that I can easily reach the things I need most often. Randi had asked me before she came to my apartment if I had special needs. Since I have chronic lower back pain and have trouble leaning down and lifting, she placed the items I use most often in the front at eye level. In addition to organizing the kitchen, she organized my bedroom closet. Now I can walk into it without tripping over shoes and sacks. She was so polite and pleasant. I never felt like the sloppy, disorganized person I have been. She is a teacher who taught me many tricks to stay organized. She even took many items I no longer need to Good Will. Be sure to call A Helping Hand if you need help organizing.

She arrived at our agreed upon time and went right to work. She stayed at it for 6 hours...not accepting offered food and drink...felt it would be and quot;unprofessionaland quot; to accept them. Her approach is friendly but strictly professional. She is undaunted by chaos and brings forth good ideas for dealing with it. I am well satisfied.

Randi asked me to complete a detailed questionnaire before she came. When she arrived, she had a clear idea, more so than I did, about what needed to be done. She started to work very promptly, despite my belief that we may as well take our time because we wouldn't get it done anyhow. I had health issues that I was sure would slow us down. Rand insisted I sit in a chair and direct while she did sorting and moving. It worked! In three hours we were done and my office ready to revert to a guest room.Randi gave me advice on what to keep and many ideas about getting ready for carpet installers and painters. Most of all her work lifted my spirits and gave me a sense of calm and happiness that I had not felt in some time.

The tips she has are very easy to follow. She has given me feedback online. She suggested buying containers to put things in. I have purchased many containers that I hope will work well in the next two rooms we plan to work in on Thursday. The work that we have already accomplished has relieved my stress level. She is JUST GREAT.

I have been exceptionally pleased with Randi's services and highly recommend her expertise for those who are looking for a supportive and knowledgeable organization provider. I appreciate that she empowers me to achieve what I want rather than leaving me frustrated or stressed. I went from feeling overwhelmed to gaining an organized workshop and office that I can function and create within.

I am very pleased with Randi's services. She kept us focussed on the tasks at hand and didn't waste time on non-essentials. She offered many constructive suggestions and furnished papers on "how to" items via email after our meeting. I'll have more to report in 3 weeks when she returns for a second visit.
Response from A Helping Hand
"Thank you for your review of our work together. I appreciated the opportunity to work with you in your home office. I also enjoyed our follow-up session and look forward to working with you again for any of your future organizing needs."
