"Thank you for your post. We do charge for use of our wire locater. It is a $650.00 peace of equipment. We only charged $15.00 for the use of it. We know other companies which charge $35.00 or more. We did however locate the vales for you which is not included in the sprinkler system check for $45.00. It took us 30 min for your additional repairs/locating of vales which was discussed prior to us doing so. We do not use any equipment nor do we perform any work prior to getting your aproval. "I am very sorry you felt that way. We try our utmost ability to make sure everything is done properly the first visit. I feel bad that you felt as though we we're irritated with you as I am sure that was not the case at all. We will typically try to walk a homeowner through the setting of a controller being that with the changes of drought restrictions since our visit in july have changed. Our schedule is very hectic durring the summer months and walking a customer through changes on the controller tends to not only help you get familiar with it but allows us to help you make the changes the same day. We have no problems walking someone through how to make changes to the controller over the phone. Once again we do apologize for any feelings of irritability you felt. "I am sorry that you're yard doesnt look any greener. If you would like us to see if your run times are appropriate for this time of year please dont hesitate to call. I do know if temperatures rise and more water isnt applied to off set the evaporation then you will continue to have spotting. I am not sure this is the issue yet without knowing this we cannot guarantee this is your issue. Typically all heads need to spray to the base of the next and so forth. This is called head to head coverage. If you are getting head to head coverage then your problem is probably a lack of water (run time) if thats the case simply add time to your controller if not you might try getting your soil sampled for grubs or other infestations.
