Overall, it was a great experience.  They did the work expertly and quickly.

They came in as the lowest bid as I had several other estimates, and they also came recommended from homeowners around me.
They showed up on time, performed work as they described.  I was a little
disappointed when I arrived home that one small tree that I thought was
discussed was not cut down but we may not have discussed it again that
morning when they showed up so it was missed.    I was very pleased when
I received the bill in the mail 5 days later and the bill was what was
agreed to.   I would definitely use these guys again as they were
prompt.

They showed up on time both for the estimate and to perform the work. They were very professional and did a great job. I look forward to using them again

The sales guy, Ed, is the nicest guy you would ever want to meet, right up until the time there is a problem.
I called Treetop and explained that I needed some tree work done quickly and the nice lady said that was no problem. I met Ed at the site on Friday morning and showed all the things that needed to be done and told him I needed it done quickly.
He provided what I thought was an estimate for the better part of a day for his crew, and said his scheduler would call shortly with the exact time the crew would arrive. I asked exactly how long it would take his crew to complete the work, and he refused to respond with a specific answer.
Friday his scheduler did not call, or Saturday, or Monday, or Tuesday. So much for getting it done quickly, now I'm thinking I should have gone with the other guys.
Wednesday the scheduler calls and tells me the crew will be there Thursday and will call in advance so I can meet them at the job site. About a week after I needed it done, but maybe that is a quick response in that industry.
Thursday I get a phone call that they are waiting at the job site, so I stop what I'm doing and drive to meet them.
I again explain to Ed and the primarily non-English-speaking crew what needs to be done. I again ask Ed how long the job will take, and he does not respond with a specific answer. I'm beginning to think his answer is odd, since he is the estimator and should know exactly how long it would take his crew to get a job done.
I tell Ed to call me when the job is finished and I will inspect the work. The crew starts the job and both Ed and I leave the site.
My phone rings an hour and forty five minutes later and the job forman tells me the job is complete. You can imagine my surprise since I came to believe the project was the better part of a day.
I again go to the job site and inspect the work. Ed was not present, so I direct the crew to complete removal of several small trees that I had twice directed Ed to remove. I also hauled logs to their trailer that they had failed to remove as I had instructed twice before.
On Saturday I receive a bill from Treetop for over $800. I quickly do the math on that and determine that Treetop billed me at a rate of about $450 per hour. Service may be slow, but the billing is lightning fast. 
The  $450 per hour seems a bit high, so I call Ed to discuss it. He is very irritated that I am asking about that, and tells me he will talk with the 'owner'.
Two weeks go by and no call is received from Ed or the 'owner'. I write a letter to Treetop inquiring about the cost on the invoice.
I subsequently receive a voicemail from Ed indicating I better just get it taken care of.
Yikes.
Some companies I will go out of my way to use and send my friends to.
Some companies I will never ever use again.
Hopefully you can figure out where this one rates.

This is the second time I have used TreeTop. Both times they provided an estimate quickly and the service was provided in a few days of getting the estimate. They are very efficient, quick, up-front and enjoyable to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

I would still use and recommend Treetop Tree Service, based on the hope that the excessively early arrival time was a one-time thing. I would use and recommend them because of the quality of their work and clean-up afterward.

All done with my satisfaction within 2-3 hours.

I had a large limb fall and get wedged in another tree during a storm last weekend.  I looked up Treetop Tree and Landscaping on Angie's list Sunday night and sent them an email and the owner called Monday morning and came out Monday afternoon.  He was straight forward about the price and the time frame to get the job done.
Then today his crew came and took the limb down.  I was really impressed that they went up in the tree to take the limb down instead of just cutting and letting it fall like I've had prior crews do when they removed limbs from my big oaks.  I'll definitely use Tree Top again when my trees drop limbs.  I was very impressed!

The crew showed up when they said they would. I thought the work they did was great. I will definitely use them again when I need tree service again.

The crew arrived on time and began work immediately.  The crew are expert climbers and used pulleys and ropes to climb our very mature trees.  When they trimmed larger limbs, they tied and lowered them to the clean up crew on the ground.  The clean up crew worked quickly to place all debris into the mulching truck that accompanied the cutting crew.  They raised the canopy of the trees, thinned the limbs and trimmed off the suckers.  One of our objectives, which was accomplished, was to achieve more direct sun onto our pool without sacrificing the natural growth of the trees.  Now we have no low hanging limbs over our driveway or our house.  Our trees look wonderful and clean.  Their work has dramatically improved the look of our entire landscape.  And, when they left, the yarad, drive and street were completely clean.  We highly recommend Tree Top for their professionalism and their expertise.

They arrived at 8:30 am  and were complete by 3:30 pm    Remarkable how fast they removed those trees.  they sent a crew of about 7 people.  Price included chipper and haul away of all trees and grinding the stump.   Very happy with their work an am so glad to have those trees gone.  Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Overall we had a good experience. Mark seemed to know his stuff and even though he's not a certified arborist, I had 3 other certified arborist come out and his info. was nearly the same. They followed up after the visit to confirm I wanted the work done as they had already reserved me a date, which was good. There was an issue with the service reminder call and not getting one, so I had to call and reconfirm the appt. This wasn't a big deal though, I think the secretary had been sick. The only other issues I had was they broke a yard light lense and pretty much "topped" my hackberry in the backyard. I only wanted the canopy raised 15-20 ft and they raised it much higher than that. It still provided the shade, just wasn't as secluded and my wife wasn't too happy about that. Everything else was good though. They seemed to grind the stump down well, removed all the dead limbs and hauled off all the debris. Their price was the lowest by a good amount and even cut another stump down to ground level for no charge, so I can't complain really.

Service was not performed

I didn't end up using Tree Top Service to provide any services for us, reason being that after talking with them and setting up a date and time for a consultation and estimate, I was never called and no one showed at the designated time. When this happens, I won't reach out to remind a business of their obligation. It pretty much seals the deal for me that I'll be going with someone else. This is not to say that they wouldn't do a good job for you, and they were professional and friendly when we talked on the phone. However, this was my one issue that prevented me from using them.

The crew from Treetop showed up in a timely fashion, was professional and expedient.  Work was done as requested, and the crew left the work area clean when finished.  I will definitely use Treetop again.  Money well spent !!

Job was done quickly and professionally.

Called to get information about a tree and if removal necessary a quote for tree removal. Owner made prompt appointment to view the tree even though recent weather issues must have really crowded his and his crews schedules. Owner visited and discussed the pros and cons about the tree and removal. Tree had a definite growth pattern and lean toward the  house. Decided to remove tree. Tree was over 50 feet tall and had two main trunks. Owner set a quick appointment for removal. Tree removed as scheduled and all debris removed. Absolute no issues in dealing with this company. The owner was informative and attentive.

Spoke with TreeTop Tree Service, got an estimate of $250 and set up an appointment.  They showed up on time, trimmed the tree and cleaned the yard completely before leaving.  I was thoroughly satisfied.  They did a real good job.  I would definitely use them again in the future.

My description of work describes the service from start to finish.  Mark was very professional in his response to my call for an estimate.  His crew arrived right on time.  He arrived shortly thereafter to check on everything and to answer any questions that I might have.- I can't say enough nice things about his crew.  Very nice-quiet-and worked so diligently.  Mark has a wonderful service that every home owner will need eventually.

Wyong and his crew were very courteous.  He knew what he was doing.  He cleared the trees off; really shaped them up prettier than I have ever had them.  I have had them shaped over the years.  I never had them quite as nice as they were this time.  He really got way up there high.  I was kind of surprised that they were able to get up as high as they could.  They really cleared out so much that dead stuff.  It was just amazing how much stuff they got out of there.  The trees are beautiful and they did a fabulous job.  Their price was very fair.  I had three other people come out and they were by far the lowest.  I was surprised because a lot of times you get the lowest price you wonder if the work would be good.  I did get the lowest price and the best service.
