He was fine, but the price was high. We did not hire him because of the price; it was more than double what I ended up with.

It was a difficult cleanout but they stayed with it. Wore foot protection to keep from tracking in dirt from outside. Cleaned up everything after they were done. Even helped me move some furnature. I also got a quote for some different, unrelated work. Quote seemed fair.

The technician that came out on a Sunday morning and was courteous and professional, and he came ready to work. He made two attempts to clear the line with a 75 foot snake and was going to run a 100 foot snake when we noticed a sudden surge outside while no water drains were in use in the house. He directed me to the city and the city line ended up being the problem. Of course I paid the 299.00 (which was explained up front) because they did the work, although if it happens again I'll ask the city to check first...might save myself a little money. Regardless, I'd recommend them.

Our experience with James Rowe Plumbing was fine but their price was a little bit high.

It went well. The estimate was fair and the company seemed to be customer friendly. The plumber that had written the estimate was assigned to the job. He was one and a half hours later than was promised. That was O.K. for me. The problem was that when he arrived he was very irritable and rude. He was upset due to some personal problems and took it out on the customer, me. I called the company immediately and the problem was quickly resolved. Another plumber came and took over the job. But before he could arrive the first plumber started the work. This made me a little nervous wondering what type of job he would be doing. The company did replace him as soon as they could get another plumber over to my house. I did appreciate the concern and promptness on the company's part. The only part of this plumbing experience that was negative was the first plumber they sent out. I understand that he is no longer employed with them.

the gas leak ended up being in atmos' line and they put in a new gas line. the two gentlemen from james rowe were wonderful. they stayed with me the whole time until the issue was resolved as this was a large leak. they checked all the water and gas connections and removed an antiquated line to the old gas lamp. They also insulated all of our pipes.

After some finagling the original quote and the final price matched. He first gave us a quote, but he also told me that I could do it cheaper myself and told me what I needed to do. He just charged me trip charge, but it turned out that I wasn't able to do it myself so they had to come out and finish it. The office was not happy when I called and asked them to come out and finish what they started. He did come out the same day I called so they were quick to respond. Once he finished the job it was fine, but he should have never brought up the fact that I could do it myself. I didn't like having to call back and tell them to come back out.

Our gas heater died through the pool and they rehooked the plumbing for it. They were very prompt and came out right away to give us an estimate. They came back the next day to do the work. They were right on time and right on price. They were very pleasant and did more than we had expected. The pipes originally had not been laid out right and they corrected that so that it wouldn?t rust again like it did this time. They did a really thorough job and were very fairly priced too. After they finished the work they sent us a $25 coupon for the next occasion when we would use them. I would definitely recommend them.

I?ve used them in the past and they are the people I call when I have plumbing problems. They are very quick to get back to you, they provide reliable service, and they are upfront about their fee.

The shower/tub faucet handle in the guest bathroom would not stay fixed even though the condo developer's plumber "fixed" it twice. Each time, the handle worked once and then could not turn water on (or off) after first use, making the shower and tub unusable. James Rowe Plumbing responded immediately when I called sending two men who arrived on or before the scheduled arrival time. After a thorough examination, they determined that the internal cartridge mechanism was stripped (and to me looked like it may not have been installed properly in the first place). While they could have encouraged me to install a new and much better faucet assembly... and I was ready to do so, the plumbers instead recommended that I just repair it until such time I decided to remodel. With new parts it should work just fine for years. They ordered the necessary new parts and installed them in a few minutes. Simple, fast, professional work. I couldn't be more relieved to find this company and will use them again for all my plumbing needs.
