GUILLERMO CADENA'S LAWN SERVICE

Monday is my lawn day, but when it rains he comes on Wednesday. I use him quite a bit, so I don't know if it's the appropriate amount or not. He's good. A lot of times, I don't just judge a company by their work. I judge them on their personality and their mannerism. He does help me a lot on extra things if I ask him to. For instance, I asked him to stop by, which he did last night. I had some peach trees from a friends house. I asked him where would be a good place to plant it. He asked me where did I want it and I wasn't sure. I said, "What about here?", and he disagreed. I said, "How about there?", and he agreed. He took off and just planted it for me. It took him probably less than 5 minutes for each tree, but still it was worked out of his work day and yet he did it for me without charge. I will give him extra or buy him lunch or something because I appreciate it. That's why he's here. That's why I keep him. He's been working for me for 5 or 6 years now. He doesn't do much except mowing. Quality of work is good. Sometimes there is a slight language communication if he is not there. I usually try to reach his son sometimes. A couple days ago, I asked, "Are you coming out tonight?" It was late on Monday. I said, "If you do, please come because I need to talk to you." He said he'd come out in the day time. He said 1:00 I said I had a doctor's appointment at 1:00 so I said 12:00. He said okay. He didn't show up. I waited for him and he didn't show up. I had to leave. Come to find out, he showed up a couple hours later. Sometimes, there's a language barrier. He explains if he didn't show up or if he's late.

I have used Guillermo for over 10 years at my home, my mother's home, and now on rental properties. He is always fair, prompt, and good. On this latest job, I had originally contracted for a $2,000 clean-up and sod laying. As the clean-up progressed I could see that more work would be required - more than doubling the cost of the job. I didn't ask for a re-quote and even though he could have charged me whatever he wanted at that point, I was not displeased with the final bill.







Guillermo also performs routine lawn service on all of our properties and they always look great.

His crew has also done numerous trimming/weeding over the years and most recently redid the landscaping in my front yard and pleased beyond expectations.

This company is awesome! Guillermo travels to Mexico sometimes during the year, I have used his service for 8 years and previous owners used before. I usally contact by mail because there is sometimes difficulty understanding each other on the phone. They are a very hardworking crew that leaves my yard spotless after mowing or trimming hedges.

When we moved into our house, this service was recommended by our neighbors. After numerous attempts to contact them, we gave up. Our calls were never returned and we contracted another lawn service who is doing a great job. Our neighbors' lawn always looks wonderful, so I'm sure this service does a good job but they're very difficult, sometimes impossible, to contact. Our neighbor warned us that he wasn't good about returning calls. If you can get in touch with them to contract service, I'm sure they'll do a good job.

Guillermo provides our regular weekly lawn service and two or three times a year, we ask him to weed and trim our approximately 3/4 acre lot. We call and he quickly arranges to have his crew come and does exactly what we ask that they do. They work carefully and quickly. Guillermo directs his men and they are well trained. We learn from them as well how to best make the landscaping look good.
