Even when we hit some construction snags as you always do he was there with great solutions and got the job done. Marcio is also a super nice guy. Totally trusted him in my home. I’ve hired a lot of contractors and I was very happy with him. Will definitely hire him for future projects.

He was very professional, great communicator and understand his profession above and beyond, in home remodeling. I hired him initially to remodel my entire kitchen and bathroom. Him and his team goes above and beyond to ensure you get exactly what you want and also in the idea of what he proposes. Our basement was cold, damp, drab and lifeless. Yellowing concrete walls, chipped flooring were transformed into a vibrant, bright and comfortable space for our family. The crew arrived on time and cleaned up after every workday. They were friendly, informative and communicated with us consistently, addressing questions and concerns without issue. We were advised that the job would 4-5 weeks but to our surprise, it was completed within 15.5 days. From the custom shower in the bathroom edition, to the newly designed steps/banister and closed in mechanical units…every aspect of this remodel was exceptional. Marcio listened intently and ensured that he and his team met our needs. We were truly blown away by this experience and will be working with this amazing company on future projects. I am very happy with the kitchen remodel. Entire kitchen was gutted, had new tile, new ceiling, new walls, new cabinets and appliances put in. Reasonable price. Showed up everyday on time and kept things neat during the project. Would definitely recommend and would hire again!

Marcio and his team are amazing! He remodeled a small attic shower that was previously leaking and replaced the ceiling in the room underneath the bathroom, they exceeded my expectations. I had a punch list to get my condo in shape prior to listing for sale and a neighbor recommended Gideon. Marcio was very responsive and professional, and the quote was reasonable. I purchased most all materials and he was able to pick up and/or return anything not needed. Marcio and his team were extremely punctual and arrived every single day at 9 am on the dot. I was also impressed with the speed of the work. Marcio and I communicated through the renovation and addressed and solved any issues as they came up; he even came up with a solution for my basement storage doors that were both inexpensive and customized to the space. I was very happy with the final result, the apartment looked amazing, and sold quickly. I absolutely recommend Gideon to my friends or anyone that needs a contractor.

Marcio and his crew remodeled most of our basement, including some minor reconstruction of the existing layout, new flooring, new drywall, painting, new overhead lighting, some other electrical work, etc. The project was started and finished on schedule. They did a good job of daily and final cleanup. The quality of the work was good and the basement looks much better. The price was reasonable for the scope and quality of the project. We would hire Marcio again if we had another similar project.

We used Marcio for redoing our three-quarter bath in the spring and were very happy, so after waiting a few months we contracted with him again to completely redo our full bath. Marcio was again the lowest quote (by far) and gave us ~10-14 day timeline. We purchased all of the fixtures and finishings as we did with the first bathroom. Unfortunately, our bathroom tub shipped to us broken...twice. This meant that after demolition we had to put the project on hold for approximately 10 days in order to reorder the tub. Marcio took this in stride and did not complain, which relieved a lot of stress for what was already a very stressful situation. Once we restarted, Marcio and his team were on time every day, professional, and great to work with. One of us works from home (in a 2 bedroom city condo) and was able to continue doing so throughout the entire remodeling project. Marcio completed the job in less time than he promised and did a great job, particularly with the instillation of a very expensive sliding glass door which required the entire bathroom to be re-squared. We love the final result and would definitely work with Marcio again.

We've dealt with a number of contractors recently and Marcio and his team were easily the most responsive. They took ownership of the project and exceeded expectations on several of the areas that were in scope. His team extended a fence in our backyard and also remodeled our basement (including some basic framing, new doors, drywall, painting, and floor installation). Everything was done in a timely and professional manner and the end result was true to our vision. If we had any questions or changes along the way, his team was incredibly responsive and amenable to making sure that we got exactly what we wanted/needed. We would highly recommend this team for household projects, renovations, etc.

Marcio, the contractor, did a great job completely renovating a kitchen and a bathroom in a condo. The condo management office requested a town permit at the last minute right before he was due to start work. Marcio took it upon himself to submit the permit request at Town hall, and patiently waited while the Town took over two weeks to approve the permit! Once started, Marcio and his crew took time to make sure all the work was done properly and to specifications. They did an excellent job, and we are very pleased with the work. Marcio is a professional and we would recommend his services.

Called around to MANY places in advance of this remodel. So many places charged sky high "fees" to do work in Hoboken and/or wouldn't let you be in charge of obtaining your own materials and fixtures. Personally, we didn't want to pick from a catalog of tile, vanities, ect. that we would then be charged a premium for. Marcio was one of the only ones who didn't tack on a premium surcharge to the job and also let us acquire all of our own materials in advance of the remodel. Marcio and his team completed demolition and remodeling of bathroom as promised according to timelines we originally discussed. Extremely polite, Extremely professional, Extremely responsive. He provided the labor, we provided all fixtures and materials (where needed he was helpful in making decisions with us). We were very happy with this job and are now in planning phases to use Marcio for a similar remodel of our other full bath.

Marcio worked on our house as if it was his own. We wanted to keep a lot of original aspects of our 1925 house and he followed our instructions to the T. Only providing valuable suggestions when needed. He went above and beyond the original contract and helped us with our own projects providing guidance, supplies, and tools when necessary. All add-ons were priced reasonably and done with exceptional timeliness and quality. In this 5 months long project he became a friend, not just hired help.

Marcio was great to work with! He is a true professional who works very hard to make sure his clients are happy. He and his assistant arrived early each day and put a lot of care into prepping the area before working for the day. He went above and beyond to get the various paints that we wanted, followed all directions, called for clarification on any instructions that were unclear, and gave us excellent advice throughout the project.
