I was very pleased with them, and would use them again. My experience indicated that they stand behind their work.

They told me because there was a leak outside to tell the city and the city should give me a refund. The city gave me hundreds back. They do very good work. I highly recommend them.

They were very responsive and I was very happy with the outcome of their work. They went above and beyond what I had expected and found issues that I would have never known about.

This company was third I tried, no luck on the previous two. The service man showed up around 11:30, 2 1/2 hours later than told by person on phone. Tech was professional and courteous. Quickly located problem and fixed it. Basically paid for a service call. Actual price was $80 but I had a coupon from their online site.

Kevin did clean the main saw line, I ask him to also check the upstairs bath tub slow drain, He checked and tell me need to have another plumber to got tub plunger out. Original quote for main line is $179 which surprised me, I manage 20 houses in Dallas, this is the highest quote I ever get. So I ask the warranty on the job, He said he can not offer for rental property but personal house. Compare to other company I used before, some offer 30 days, some offer 90 days, and the price only $129. This is why I give a B rating on price. The good thing is after I talked with Kevin on price issue, He did call office to confirm and lower the price to $149, I also got 10% for Angie's customer.

We had a major leak in the bathroom Ernie's came out and did the work in a timely manner. I would use them in the future. They made sure that all of our needs were met.

They are responsive, knew what they were doing, did it right the first time. Honored my senior citizen discount.

I have used them several times in the past. They always do a good job, are prompt, identify themselves with named shirts, and are very professional.

We have a septic system and it had stopped up so the two toilets overflowed. They are very friendly. They were professional. There was a problem and another toilet overflowed later. If they had looked at it more carefully they could have found that. But they came back and did it for free.

They were great! He came out and went to the local hardware store to purchase a water heater. He was very nice.

I called someone on Angie's list. I described my problem to him--water leaking from disposal and backing up into sink. He laughed and said he didn't do any project for less than $25,000. However he gave me advice: go to hardware store and buy a garbage disposal, THEN call a plumber. I took time to research disposals on a Consumer Reports' web site and chose a Kenmore, rated "best buy." I went out, bought the disposal, then called Ernie's Plumbing Service, which had an ad in a local publication with a coupon for $25 off. The plumber arrived in a timely manner, told me he would have installed the exact same disposal and told me the manufacturer's name (it began with a "B".) The old disposal was not lined with stainless steel, and the bottom had rotted out. Also, the outflow pipe was clogged. After he had installed the disposal he left to get new pipes. I did not ask why. The old ones had been in there a while, so I assumed that was why. (The house is 25 years old.) I also assumed he was local because the phone number was local. He was gone about 30-45 minutes, not an inordinate amount of time, I thought. He finished the job and presented me with the invoice for $623.36. I had sticker shock. I thought the most the bill would be was about half that amount. Yes, Ken Brown was a licensed plumber, but $623.36! I have not called the company to complain about the cost. I will, on Monday or Tuesday, when the business office is open. The company operates in a large area of the metroplex (greater Dallas-Fort Worth) because they list at least two different phone numbers with two different area codes on the magnet Ken left with me. It guarantees I'll get 10% off any service, any time, with no expiration date.

They were here within the hour. He explained exactly what was wrong and explained how to maintain the water heater in the future so I would have not to call. He installed a new part to help with the up keep on the water heater. We will Call Ernie's plumbing again.

I thought the price was a little high, other than that the work was good.

Tommy looked at the water heater and noticed that the pilot light was out. Lite the pilot light and fixed the water heater. Tommy wouldnt charge or accept any money for the service. He also gave us a bid for a new water heater if we need one in the future. I would definitely use them again.

Went good. Cliff from Ernies showed up on time around 9:00 AM. I showed him that both the front and back hose shutoff values/faucets were leaking. He advised that repairing the back one would take a lot more work due to the fact that the stub didnt come out of the wall enough to cut off (would have required cutting into the wall). I opted to leave the back on as-is for now. He then proceeded to replace the front shutoff valve in short order. After he left, I tested it out and discovered that there was a leak around the handle of the new shutoff valve. I decided to see if I could just tighten up the nut at the base of the handle. It was indeed a bit loose and I tightened it up and it works like a charm. Not a single drop now. I should have checked it before he left. Im sure if I wasnt able to fix it, they would have came out to take care of it, though. I realized I could have saved some money if Id have used Ernies Angies List coupon. Maybe next time!

This experience was a complete (happy) opposite to our previous experience with Mr. Rooter. Both times happened on a weekend. Mr. Rooter never showed until Monday (his own company could not find him until he chose to show up). He clearly did not want the job. Bid way too high a price. We will never call Mr. Rooter again! Ernies is our choice for the future. Workman was thorough, very professional conduct. Quick response (came within an hour of call); reasonable estimate, job done in one day. Use them! Theyre very good.

Charged me for the visit, didnt do any work, just told me what I needed to have done. I paid him what seemed like a lot. After he left I noticed in the ad in the phone book that it stated no travel charge and free estimates in large letters. I shouldnt have been charged according to that.

He was there for 15 minutes and told me to go get a connector part. I dont think he did anything but he charged me $350.

He was prompt. I thought the price was a little high, but I'm satisfied overall. They came within an hour of my first call.

Very pleased with them. They have nice trucks. Service techs are in uniform, well groomed, clean. I would highly recommend Ernie's Plumbing. A little pricey but worth it.

Had the plumber come out to give an estimate and gave him the measurements of the unit that was going into the closet. He estimated a $775 job and I bought the unit and he came on a Friday. He removed the other unit, did some maintenance plumbing needed, opened the other hot water heater box, and THEN realized it was too big (this after being given the original specifications and having the thing in front of him for two hours). He really put us in a bind. I had to take off work and find another hot water heater, get it delivered (after he said he would deliver it for us and then backed out of helping us two hours later). Then I had to argue with their office over such a poor experience and they wanted to knock off $75 of the job. I ended up finishing the job for $250 with another company when Ernies was going to charge me $500+. I cant stress enough how terrible this company is to work with. Everyone was rude and treated me like a troublemaker.

It was bad. As it turns out, the cost of the part for the water heater we needed was about $12.00 and it took exactly 5 minutes for another company to fix it. ERNIES PLUMBING SERVICE INC wanted to charge me $287.00. I guess based on the cost of $200/hour in North Dallas area. Total screw job. They only reason I called them in the first place, was because they offer free initial estimate: Now I know why, they eventually catch with you on the price per hour, which is horrendous.

They mis-represented what they sold me. It was supposed to be a top-of -the-line Bradford, but they stuck in a GE and it was smaller than what I wanted. They also were supposed to put in a timer and they didnt. I called and someone came back and tore a hole in my garage closet and flooded the garage with water in the process of trying to put on the timer. He also scraped paint off the garage closet. I could have got the very same water heater for 1/3 of the price at a different place. They were unresponsive to my complaints and I had to have the damage they caused repaired.

They did a great job removing the old water heater and installing the new one. The installer was very knowledgeable about the hot water heater because I had originally started to buy a larger one. He advised me that the one I bought had to be the same size, otherwise we would have to rewire.
