Davis Door Service could teach the service industry (in general) a thing or two!
My technician (Jonathan) was able to move my apooint up and called in advance of arriving to ask if that would be permissible. Jonatha arrived shortly after the call; he was courteous and knowledgeable. The tech went about servicing the door and explained to me what he was going to do before he did it.

We called them on a Wednesday morning - the first day of school - when we couldn't get out of our garage. Fortunately, we have to park one car outside anyway, so we were able to make it to school on time. We called Davis after we came home and told them one of our cars was stuck in the garage. We were told they could be out in about an hour.
About half an hour later, Matt came, diagnosed the problem, offered two solutions (repair or replace). He got our other car out of the garage. He wrote up an estimate for a new double garage door and set an appointment for Friday (they could have accomodated us on Thursday, but it was more convenient for us to wait until Friday).
Isaac came out and installed the door. His appointment slot was 4-5 p.m., but he called about 3 and said he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come on over. It was a good time for me, too, so he headed over and got to work. I think he took a 5-minute break when I offered him a bottle of water and that was about it! He worked his tail off in 110-degree heat and was done about an hour later. Clean-up was good. Best part: The replacement door looks great and works perfectly with my garage door opener.

They were excellent.

They did a good job and I was happy with them. I spent $225 on that job. The job was excellent. On top of replacing the spring, they calibrated the door. They were prompt and they game out the same day and fixed it. When I called them, the person I spoke to told me that if I was not satisfied with the job, I could call them back and I was impressed with that.

They came quickly as promised and fixed the door in time for us to make an evening play at our daughter's school.

Well, just seemed more expensive than should have been.

Davis Door had a service technician out to our house within an hour of my call. He was courteous and professional, explained every step of the maintenance he performed, made some recommendations for preventative maintenance, and cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend this service.

I came home to find that the spring on my garage door was broken. I called Davis Door Service and they sent over a technician literally within the next half-hour. The technician, Matt, was very professional and was extremely quick to get the job done. I would definitely recommend Davis Door Service to any of my friends and would use them again myself!
