"Attention Angie's List Reps!! Please discontinue fetching homeowner reviews on our behalf. You are waiting over a year to ask for the reviews and homeowners are not recalling the events anywhere close to how they actually went. If we do not get a review within 90 days of a service, please do not ask homeowners to recall events over a year old. These improper reviews are affecting my excellent rating. I take each and every service extremely serious and rely on timely and accurate rating/reviews to spread the word regarding our excellent services. Expecting homeowners to recall events over a year ago is not fair to us and severely affects our bottom line. We appreciate your help, however, we will take it from here."

"Attention Angie's List, There are a lot if mistakes made on your end regarding this rating. (1) this service was not performed in 2014 as you have documented. It was performed over a year ago in 2013. (2) the homeowner received 2 seperate breakdowns of his charges. Without it, how did he know the amount of the check to write the guys. (3) the soda cans that he is referring to was given to guys by him. He asked then to leave the cans on the back table when they were finished. If he did not get them off of the table the same day, I'm sure they were blown onto the yard. However, my guys would have simply thrown them into the trash truck had he not asked to keep them for recycling. The gutter screens were snap in screens and we did not screw them into the house. We use reinforcement screws into the gutters themselves to prevent the screens from popping loose during a heavy storm with excessive high winds. This was also explained to him before the start of the project. Waiting over a year to ask a homeowner for a review is causing a lot of false review issues. You cannot expect homeowners to recall these minor events correctly after a year or more time passes by. This is not fair to the contractors that perform these services. Other Angie's List customers also depend on these reviews to be accurate to help guide then to the right contractor. Please discontinue fetching reviews over a year old, or atleast give the homeowner an option to opt out of leaving a review of they feel that they are not going to recall these events as they actually happened. False reviews seriously effect a contractors bottom line. We take our reviews very serious. Getting so much as a B because a homeowner can not recall what actually took place over a year ago is not fair the the contractor."
"Mrs. *******, We apologize for your frustration. Our records indicate that minor repairs were made to the property during the initial inspection. We also provided photographs of additional damages to the property caused by recent storms and recommended that you file a formal claim with your insurance company and be sure to have us present for that inspection. However, you apparently chose to handle the inspection with your insurance company on your own and did not contact us back to meet with them on your behalf. Thus, you were denied a full replacement approval which is pretty common for homeowners that attempt to handle everything themselves. Although, we are not required to issue a refund based on the services that were provided, we would be glad to issue a refund as an attempt to show our appreciation and understanding regarding your situation. We appreciate the opportunity and thank you for your business."
"Mr. [removed member name], We are a little confused by your rating. The references you requested were emailed to you the following day and then forwarded to you again as proof that they were sent the following day you requested them. The issue was on your end regarding the receipt of the email. We also provided you with a gutter cleaning and new gutter screen covers for a fraction of the costs that most homeowners have to pay and even refunded you back the entire value of the coupon that you purchased for only $99. I never tried to "sell" you anything, as your review indicates. I simply provided recommendations to you based on the old age and poor condition of your existing roof. Mainly, the "roof leak" and rotted wood decking along the back edge of the home that was caused by the inexperienced gutter installer that you hired to install your gutters. It's a little disappointing that I received a "C" rating considering the deal that I provided to you personally. We regret being unable to earn the A+ Rating we strive to earn with every appointment and appreciate the opportunity."
"Total contract amount $22,879.88. Remove and replaced roof system with new Class 4 Impact resistant roof. Stained wood fence. Out of pocket upgrade amount $3000.00 2/Story Steep slope. 65 squares total. Upgrade in ventilation."
"Total contract amount 26,000 Roof, gutters, window screens, painting."
"This review is false. We did not provide this homeowner with an estimate. I am the president of the company and was personally the one that spoke to this homeowner. After figuring out the funny business they were trying to accomplish, I refused to do business with them and refused to provide them with an estimate. BOTTOM LINE, WE WIL NOT ENGAGE IN FRAUDULENT INSURANCE ACTIVITY. If you are looking to get cheap estimates to pocket as much of your insurance money as you can, we are not the company for you. However, if you are looking for quality installations with top quality products then we are exactly what your looking for. We have not managed to stay in business since 1954 by being dishonest or committing insurance fraud. Trust and quality for over 56 years."
