Description of Work: They replaced the "A-coil" on my AC unit...after another AC company told me that it could not be replaced and tried to sell me an entire new unit. These people are honest and competent.

Description of Work: Marvelous! We came home after a long trip, no AC. It was a Sunday afternoon in the August heat and still, Air Clinic rang our doorbell 3 hours after we had called. Don was extra competent, professional, and quick working. He quickly identified the problem and fixed it with a part he had in his truck. Cool air! No need for a hotel or for imposing on our kind neighbors. Don also answered all of our questions about future projects. We are a diversity couple and Don made us feel most comfortable. We will definitely tell our friends about Air Clinic and we'll call again just as soon as we're ready to build onto our house. Thank you!

 + -1 moreSeth performed the required heat load calculations and showed us that the existing builder installed unit was undersized and poorly engineered. After installation the new unit is cooling the house better than ever before and is running at least half as often as the previous unit. Seth and his crew did all of the work in the proposal and the new system works as he said it would even on the 100 degree days.
Description of Work: Seth Kelm at Air Clinic replaced our downstairs unit (condenser, furnace, coil, etc.). His crew also replaced, enlarged and rearranged some of the ducting to improve the distribution.

Description of Work: They came to my house and had to find out why my air conditioner wasn't working. It was an ant problem and they cleaned them out. They were very good at fixing the little problem I had.

 + -1 moreThe two Air Clinic installation technicians were prompt, very professional and completed the work in one day. The follow-up head technician discovered an overflow valve was omitted and that was replaced the next day. The city inspector did not find any concerns on his checks. He said Trane was a very good unit which made me happy. I mentioned my bedroom air flow problem was still not corrected. He suggested I have a fan installed in the duct and have it linked to the thermostat. I called Seth Kelm, the president of Air Clinic, and discussed this solution. He said if I wanted that change I would have to pay for it and he offered to replace the 7 inch duct with an 8 inch. That was done and there is still no change in the bedroom temperature differential. I may have to have a fan installed at my expense. The thermostat recovery mode takes a lot longer than necessary to reach the scheduled temperature. I removed it and set the start time 45 minutes ahead of when I wanted it up to temp.
Description of Work: Air Clinic installed a 5 ton Trane XL16i Heat Pump system with a variable speed air handler, a Trane Clean effect air cleaner and a digital touch screen thermostat. They also made a modification to the existing duct system to try and improve the air flow to a bedroom that was always 5 degrees different than the thermostat setting.
