A and A Fence & Concrete

Our fence blew down in a storm right before the Christmas holidays so I expected some delayed response in getting fence estimates. Out of four local companies contacted the same day, A and A Fence/Concrete was the first to respond about two days after Christmas. Dan provided very helpful and informative suggestions regarding the fence construction and provided a written estimate the same day. When the construction team arrived, I was amazed at their organization and efficiency in removing the old fence, prepping the construction area, installing the new poles, and constructing the new fence. The crew leader, Angel, was very friendly and asked for my preferences and for review of their work at critical points during the construction. They completed the work and cleaned up the construction area in less than twelve hours! Dan dropped by during the construction and reviewed the work with me afterward, answering any questions that I had. The final price was exactly what had been quoted beforehand.

Very good experience and I would recomend and I would use again.

The experience, from the first call to schedule an estimate to clean-up after the job was finished, was totally hassle free.  Cary came out to meet me at my home to do the estimate.  He was on time, very professional and pleasant to deal with.  I had a total of 4 different companies I wanted estimates from...Cary was first.  The bid process took a week and I was unavailable the week after, so that it was 2 weeks before I called to tell him I was ready to go forward with A and A Fence and Concrete.  The crew showed up when Cary told me they would, performed the work we agreed upon and left the place spotless when they left 2.5 days later.  I had a few concerns and questions that came up over the course of the construction process.  Cary was prompt in his responses and very agreeable to the additional requests I made during the process.  My new fence is beautiful and solidly constructed...prettiest in the neighborhood, I think.  I won't hesitate to use A and A Fence and Concrete again or to recommend them to family, friends and neighbors.

The job went great. There were a couple of issues of timeliness but Cary was responsive and addressed my issues timely.

A and A Fence & Concrete were great to work with.  Everyone I spoke with, the salesman (Dakon), to his crew that installed the new fencing, to their office personnel...All were very professional, courteous, and quick to return my call or e-mail.
Although A and A gave me a very competitive quote, I chose them because of the following.  Unlike other fence contractors that gave me a quote, they required 50% of the job fee upfront to purchase material; some did not accept credit cards but if they did take credit cards, they tack on a 3% swipe fee to the final bill; and they could not put me on their calendar for several weeks out.  A and A did no such thing.
I went with A and A is because they did not require any $$ upfront to purchase material (in fact...you pay when you are completely satisfied with the work), they accepted credit cards but without any card swipe fees, and they were able to preform the work within two two weeks (or less) after I give them authorization to begin work.  (my entire neighborhood sustained massive amount of fence damage due to a strong wind storm that were strong enough to collapse a metal utility line tower, so getting on a contractor's calendar within two weeks was very quick)
A and A has earned my business and any future fence work I might need.  I will definitely use them again and recommend them when ever I am asked.

Everything went really well. They came out quickly and gave us an estimate. They were professional and polite.

After putting in a cedar fence on one side of our backyard last year, we decided we were ready to do the other side.  Even though we were satisfied with the company who put our fence up last year,  we felt we could do better pricewise.  After checking Angie’s List and getting bids from a couple companies, we decided to try A and A Fence & Concrete.  We were not disappointed.  Cary Stowe gave us an estimate which was cheaper than the others, and his company had better reviews.  He wasn’t sure of the exact date they could start the work, but it would be within a week and he would call to let us know.  Turns out we missed his morning call and were quite surprised when his workers showed up in the afternoon.  They had the wood fence done in no time, but had to wait until the next day for the chain link because they didn’t realize we wanted a six-foot fence, not a five-foot fence.  They promptly returned early the next morning and resumed working.  It wasn’t the easiest job because a tree had fallen on our fence, and  they had to raise one side to match the other.  After all their hard work, though, our fence looks great.  We couldn’t be happier with A and A Fence & Concrete.  The workers are well experienced.  They work hard and quickly, are precise and they did a great job.  They removed and disposed of the old fencing, and cleaned up the area so you couldn’t even tell they’d been there.  And, even though it wasn’t in the contract, they went the extra mile making sure our gate aligned with the rest of the fence.  We would certainly use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone needing new fencing.

Working with Cary was a great experience. Cary called back within a day of leaving a message. I needed a vid on a shared fence with a neighbor and a bid for replaceing the both end fences. Cary was on time with the appointment. He did a bid for both jobs. The fence with the neighbor will hopefully be done in the next couple of months as the neighbor and I need to work out the details of splitting costs etc. however, I did go ahead a have Cary replace the end caps. Due to a storm we had a week prior, Cary was upfront that had a lot work and it would be a few days before they could make it out. Less than a weeks later, I have new end cap fences and they look great. Once the neighbor and I can reac an agreement I plan of using A&A for that job. I would not hesitate use them again, nor to recommend them. The professionalism, work-- all done with no complaints.

I would rate them highly. I would use them again in the future.

We had to replace 78' of wood fencing that was blown down by tornado damage in april, 2012.  We contacted several fence companies for estimates and received most estimates online.  A and A Fence & Concrete was the only one who came to our house and estimated replacement cost onsight.  Tim Meier was prompt, polite and thorough.  He listened to our questions and concerns and answered all to our satisfaction.  We were very concerned about loss of privacy.  Tim told us that he could get a crew out the end of the following week.  Luckily for us, they were able to come a day early.  The crew worked fast and finished our fence in one day.  The fence is beautiful and we are very pleased.

Cary, did a fantastic job even having to deal with unhappy neighbors. I didn't have to be there. I never met  Cary but he was very professional and personable. I'll use him again to do the rest of the fence when I can.

I was very pleased with them and their service.  Angel and Barrio were the two workers who came out.  They were prompt and on time.  They were very conscientious of their work.  They cleaned up as they went so they didn’t have a big mess at the end.  They were very pleasant.  They asked questions before they did anything to make sure it was what we wanted.  They did a superb job.  I couldn’t ask for anything better.  They came and worked until like 8.30 in the evening to get it finished.  They were very professional.  They measured everything and so there was nothing uneven about the fence on the top or on the bottom.  They did top quality work.  The wood that they used was just really nice wood.  I could not be happier.  They put rails at the bottom so that it didn’t look weird.  They just kind of put like a frame around it which was very neat.  It was very nice looking.  We had several neighbors comment on how nice it is.

There was a miscommunication with the email address I gave them, but once we got that straightened out he gave me a really good bid. I may use them in the future.

I am glad we went with this contractor. Our contact, Dan, was very professional and personable. The team that responded to our house performed the work quickly and to our specifications. The fence came with a 5 year warrant. I feel confident the company will honor it if something occurs to it regarding the labor and materials. I highly recommend this company for fence repair and replacement.

Cary was very pleasant and gave an immediate estimate on his first call. The custom manufactured fence pieces came in about a week faster than expected and the installation crew arrived at the scheduled time.

They were supposed to come on September 20.  They came on the 21st.    They replaced the posts on both sides with steel posts.  All wood was replaced, board by board, with cedar wood slats.  They totally built a new gate for one of the sides.  I requested that the wood not be placed right on top of the dirt or grass, they complied..  The top of the fence is nice and straight.  They cleaned up when they were done. 

When I accepted the bid I did not get a specific start date, and was waiting to be put on the schedule. A week later they called and asked if they could start that day with the pergola, I agreed. They unloaded the posts on the grass and bags of concrete on my stone patio and then "got caught" by the city for not having a permit. All work stopped, but the materials were left in the yard. The permit process took over a week and interim, it rained and the concrete bags broke on my patio. This was on a Saturday and I had no choice but to clean the mess myself or risk replacing my patio. When I called to express my displeasure with the mess I was told by Carey, well you haven't paid anything yet so what is the problem and he would be over to look at it. When he did come over he asked if they could leave the broken bags there, and since I had placed them on a tarp I agreed. A week or so later and many calls for a status update on a start date, later a new sub-contractor shows up to build the pergola. He and his crew did a wonderful, quality job and if you can hire them direct do it! But don't hire A&A. Once the patio was done I again had to call several time to get the fences and the gate finished. Just a side note they did not use cedar on fences, but at that point I was so discussed I just wanted it done and them to go away.

 I contacted between 5 to 8 places and only 4 of them contacted me and out of them only two of them gave me prices and one of them was this company. I would say this company was very fair in their pricing. I would use this provider in the future.

Great overall experience. They were on time both days and did exactly what they said they would do. The fence is beautiful and we have received nothing but compliments on it since we had the work done(it faces a busy street). We will be calling them again to do the other sides of our fence line.

This is the second time I've used A&A and they've been great both times. They replaced 2/3 of my old fence earlier this year and I contracted them again just last week to do the other 1/3. They hired someone come out to mark the lawn for underground wires. Dug out old wooden posts and replaced with metal. Built new fence panel by panel. I've had several compliments on my fence by workers around my house. I've referred several family members to get their fences done with A&A . They haven't disappointed yet. When I originally shopped around for fence companies, their quote was right on with some other companies, but their communication put them heads above everyone else.

They were very professional. I just opted to go with another provider. I would certainly consider using their services in the future.

I recommend this fencing company to anyone.  Their workmanship was excellent for the price, especially since it included a 5 year warranty as opposed to other quotes we received from other companies (1 or 3 year warranty).  The materials were of good quality and the work was done efficiently within a day.  I gave them an A for all categories except responsiveness since it was sometimes hard to reach our contact by phone to ask questions and we did not receive a call indicating which day the work was going to be done.   

Good work and a not too bad price but the responsiveness to emails brings this review down.  Was supposed to get a discount on my fence since I referred my neighbor and he got his fenc replaced at the sa time.  Several emails send to the company and no responses in weeks.  Seems the only time thier email works is when they need to send an invoice.

They were on-time, professional and courteous.  The work was completed in one day.   Work and cleanup afterwards was done.  I would use them again.
