The rep showed up on time and was very professional in his mannerism. He explained everything he did and discussed the options for additional service. He was not pressuring in his manner.

Everything was perfect. No problems - service provided was excellent.

After requesting preferred date/times online with Angieslist, I received an email from Jimmy to schedule appointment. I was able to get an appointment within 1 day of purchase. On day of appointment, the technician (Damon) called me to inform that he was on his way and his first appointment ran a bit late (only 15 minutes from original appointment time). Damon was courteous and friendly and got to work right away after I showed him where everything was and explained the noise I was hearing from the condenser. Within 5 minutes, he informed me that the condensor motor was "pulling more amps" than expected, which he indicated was a signal that the motor was dying. He had this particular motor unit available in his van and quoted me a price. I declined replacing the motor as we are looking to replace/upgrade the entire A/C system. He offered a quote for a couple of types of units (RUUD and Amana) after the inspection was completed. He checked the attic/funrance components and condensate pan & drain. I received a full write-up of what was checked during the inspection and quote including description of the differences in the unit types and functionality and why I would want one over the other, which I appreciated the information share. Learned that I had a 4-ton system when I thought it was a 3-ton system. Total appointment time 35-40 minutes.

We had a great experience with Covington. They were very responsive and came out next day, even though we did not reach out to them until late in the prior day. They were very efficient and friendly when at our home, and they diagnosed the issue quickly. They were also clear that once they corrected the initial issue, they might find additional problems in the system, which they did. The only minor issue we had with them was that it took several days to get the parts they needed (apparently there was a snafu on their supplier's part), but they seemed sincerely apologetic and even discounted the service because of it. I would highly recommend Covington to anyone.

The A/C tech was here in minutes after I called them and unplugged the line quickly.

Damon was very friendly and professional. After I made the appointment, I had to reschedule several times because of a gas leak. Covington was very accommodating with rescheduling. After ordering the part, the owner, Jimmy came out with Damon to install the part. Again very friendly and professional. Would definitely use them again.

Called owner Jim Covington, and though it was a Sunday morning and we were in the midst of a storm, he promptly sent one of his tech's named Damon who dignosed and resolved the issue. I have used Covington Comfort for the past three years and they have always been there when needed.

Our A/C quit working Saturday afternoon. Our A/C unit is 15 years old, and we haven't had any problems before now. So we called the after-hours emergency # for the company which installed it, they told us they would send someone out. Nobody ever called back or came. Sunday morning I was looking for alternatives, and decided to try Angie's list. This is where I found Covington Comfort. I called the number at 9 am Sunday morning, and Mr Covington answered. He assured me that one of their technicians could be out by 12 noon. About 10 am, Damon phoned saying he was from Covington Comfort, and that he was about 30 minutes out. He arrived around 1030, quickly assessed the situation and determined the condenser fan was out. He had the part on his truck, replaced it in about 30-45 minutes, and we were up and running. He was extremely professional, courteous, friendly and he got the job done really fast. Not only did he do a great job, but after finding out that I was an Angie's List member (for all of about 2 hours) he offered a 10% discount. All in all, the unpleasant experience of having the A/C go out in August has turned into a great experience whereby our problem was resolved fast and efficiently by Covington Comfort. We'll be needing a new system eventually (hopefully not for a few years) but when we do we'll definitely choose them. I can not recommend Covington Comfort and Damon highly enough!!

Jimmie arrived on time. He found issues right away. He had me cooling by the time I made it home for lunch. Went without a hitch!!

Wonderful experience. Came same day we called for service. Actually arrived 30 minutes early! Polite, friendly, very professional, neat & tidy even with almost 100 degree weather. Awesome.

Damon and Jimmie are so great to work with. They are both very helpful and very professional. I like how they were local. I used a coupon and had no problems, and I used the 5% off offer they had for Angie's List members, not combined offers (I've used them 2 different times). The guys who cam out to do the cleaning did a great job and were very professional. Would recommend, and will use them in the future! Thanks again!

About 2 years ago our AC in the house went out. YIKES. We spent money for another CHAIN AC PLACE to come out. They did "A fix" for a few hundred dollars to hold us for a while....like 12 hours of a while! He came back out and said blah blah blah but that it would cost us 8k-12k to get a replacement bcs that is the ONLY thing that will work. SO we then spent another small fortune on Ac window units as well as a portable AC/Heating unit.Fast forward to 3 weeks ago. Our son goes to school and is BFF with a gal and her father has a LOCAL AC company who has HIGH rating with ANGIES LIST. I told my hubby and he passed on having him come out bcs "We already know how much it will cost...I don't wanna waste his time"A couple of HOT weeks went by, not event he AC units could keep up, we called Jim Covington of Covington Comfort AC & Heating. He said he would come out Tuesday at noon and TUESDAY AT NOON he was here! He spent some time looking at the situation, the attic and talking with my hubby. BY 4pm or so OUR AC WAS FIXED and in FULL SWING! He gave us a better plan for the future of this AC. IF i told you how much it ended up being you would have serious heart failure right now. They came out same day I called. The technician was a little late, about an hour, but it wasn't such a big deal because they came same day and I appreciated that they worked me. He was very professional and seemed like he was thorough, but I'm not sure because I know nothing about the A/C and cleaning it, so of course I'd have to take his word that he did the work. But, I think they're a reputable company and believe he did his job. I am looking at hiring them again for insulation and duct cleaning. I used the $100 toward $200 coupon and didn't have any problems. Thanks!

My air conditioner was went out the night before & I had to scramble to find someone that could come out on the same day that the appointment was made. After speaking with Jimmie from Covington Comfort, I felt confident enough that the issue would be handled on time. Although the appointment was originally at/before 1pm, I had to call back at about 15 minutes before & was informed that the repairman was at another residence & would give me a call soon. The repairman was a little late, but he was courteous, professional & straight to the point. He solved the issue promptly & although I was on the phone when he had to leave, he handled the situation perfectly. I hope I do not need the service again anytime soon, but if I do, I will certainly give Covington Comfort a ring :)

Called on Saturday night at 8 pm repairman offered to come out that night, asked him to come next day arrived at 10:30 Sunday morning and fixed problem.

Damon was very professional and I would certainly use them again. He explained the problem and the solution. They were extremely responsive.

Hard to know what he did and didn't do since he was in the attic, but he seemed impressed with how good my heater was despite it's advanced age, so I really appreciated that. I would use again, for sure.
