The gutters are great. The painting looks great as well but had to prompt them to paint the roof vents and pipes even though it was quoted. I have two issues, one they said they could fix my door which has some wood damage. One the job was started they said they couldn't it was too damaged. I had to replace it. The other is the overspray and dropped paint. On the brick on the sides of my garage doors they left paint marks also on the back deck there were several paint drops larger than a quarter. They were one of the higher priced but I felt good about the care they would give - that did not happen. They did want to clean up the paint but after several trips out with them saying they can not find anything (I could not take off work) I gave up.

Rep showed up and looked at 2 jobs for me..The rep was very knowledgeable and professional. He looked at both houses for a couple of hours and advised me he would e-mail a bid. That was the last I heard from them..No call back...No bid..

It took two tries to get it right. The company sent one painter to my home who was supposed to sand and paint two doors, as well as replace some weatherstripping. While the painter was working, I called Phillips to tell them he had not sanded the doors good enough and in some places not at all. A supervisor came to my home to follow up. He talked with the painter who said he was using a paint/primer combination. I told the supervisor that was a problem, that the new enamel paint was being put on top of latex, which I wanted removed, but the supervisor left, assuring me I would be satisfied with the result. I was not. The workmanship was sloppy. He did not remove the door hardware - he painted around the strike plate and the door knob and left paint on the knob. He painted most of the door frames but did not paint up to the corners where they meet the wall. The damaged weather stripping was not replaced.

Afterwards I called the supervisor to complain. He said he would return to my home within a couple of days with the weather stripping and different painters. I waited two weeks but he never called, never came by. Phillips did, however, send me an invoice for $700.00. I sent an email to the sales rep and shortly thereafter received a call from a Phillips supervisor who said they wanted to fix the problems. The company returned today with two different painters who did a fine job. They sanded the doors and door frames thoroughly, filled in door frame imperfections, and applied a fresh coat of enamel. The production supervisor came by with weatherstripping that was nicely applied. I am very satisfied with the results from today's painters. However, because I think $700 is an outrageous price for painting two doors, there will not be a next time with this company for me.

Exceptional well.  The staff were very professional, attention to details and very skilled at their trade.  They communicated well and always left area clean.  Shannette Francis the project Manager was a difference maker and look forward to working with her on other projects.

Bad paint job on cabinets. The cabinets were stained and they were to paint them an off white color. The smell was so strong that the workers spent more time outside than in. The name & brand of paint was previously agreed upon but they began painting with a cheap paint that was the wrong color. When I complained, it was changed. They painted over nails that were small and could be pulled out with your hand. No holes were filled. Doors were not removed from cabinets and paint was left on hardware and other parts. I was told what I could use to clean areas myself. I called/text the same number for same Phillips employee (Brad) that I had always used and informed him that after checking closely during daytime, it was obvious that the cabinets were not painted well. I left a message requesting he return so that I could point out the problems. He never returned my call. He did not replace all knobs that were removed, and incorrectly replaced two door knobs. I was told I needed parts that I did not need. The problems were immediately noticeable to painters I called for estimates to re-paint the cabinets

Phillips Gutters came to my house and completed the work as promised.  I was not home when the work was performed but when I returned home I was able to see the work completed.  To my untrained eye it looks like it will control water the next time it rains.  But in the meantime it has not rained yet.  One complaint I have was when I checked my mail today there was debris left in the yard.  It seems some old shingles (I hope they are old) were left in the front by the house with some other plastic.  Maybe what hold screws, not really sure.  And to the right of my house there seemed to be a lighter left behind.  I did not have time to clean it up today but will plan to clean it up this weekend.  Other than that I am pleased so far.

The work was done efficiently and as specified.  My only comment is that I like a little more regular communication about schedule.  That's not a big issue

The crew was excellent! They were done in a little over 3 hours. It was a team of 3 that showed up and got straight to work as soon as they got there. Also cleaned up very thoroughly at the end of the job was just a great company from beginning to end!
