Last year I had $2000.00 in work done to my walls and ceilings. New taping and bedding and texturing and finally painting the affected areas. After the work was completed at the time, there were problems. But in all fairness the team got back out and made the necessary corrections. However, I have discovered a significant crack in one of the areas had developed. Called the firm and reported the problem. Haven’t heard anything about rectifying the issue as yet. Very discouraging. My guess is there are other options for work on your homes. This firm is very, very expensive and the work is barely acceptable. I expected better.

SUMMARY: An average paint job at an average price via a somewhat untidy process. DETAILS: The job took two days plus three follow-ups. All surfaces were power-washed. (Power-washing caused some minor splintering of fence boards.) Deteriorated and damaged wood was replaced. Caulking was done. Painting was done via brush, roller, or sprayer depending on the area. After the work was done some problems were noted on the first walkthrough. Touch-up was done on first re-visit, but not every problem was addressed. One item in particular was a flag holder that was supposed to be removed and discarded before painting. This was still not dealt with after the first re-visit, so we removed it ourselves. A second re-visit was required for more touch-up. Another examination found a few more problem spots (like a protruding nail being painted over without having been either pounded in or removed) which required a third re-visit. Over several days after the job was done we found balls of tape in the landscaping, cigarette butts in the lawn, and paint spatters on plants, on the back patio, on the driveway all across the front of the garage door, and on the brick in a few places. The paint job looks fine from the street but under close scrutiny we think a better job could have been done, especially in the prepping of surfaces. COMMUNICATION: Communication with the estimator, the job manager, and the main office was easy. The office kept us continually informed about scheduling until the job started. Communicating with the workers was problematic as they did not really speak English.

Had Phillips Painting out to bid our house for exterior paint and some wood rot / carpentry repairs. The price (ask for discounts) was where I needed it to be. Once I chose them it was about 3 to 4 weeks till they did the work. They call you every week and let you know where you are scheduled. They stuck to their schedule and showed up on time they day they said they would. They were amazingly fast (repairs and paint) completing the job in 2 days with a couple hours for touch up. The house looks great, they cleaned up after themselves (did not leave a mess at all), had a great attitude even when we pointed out touch-up areas. They were great to work with and I will use them again for the inside of the house. Thank you for doing a great job!

Communication was lacking between the support staff in the office and the folks who came out to my house to measure/bid the job and the installers. When I identified the initial installation issues, Alex was quick to send someone out to correct the problems. I thought the final result was of high quality but it took too much of my time and effort to make sure things were done properly. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and respectful and since the final product was satisfactory, I would probably use this company again...I think.

All costs were clearly explained before the job began. The work crew showed up on time on the scheduled day and finished the roof replacement in one day. Paperwork for reimbursement my home insurance became a bit tangled up, but was straightened out with minimal hassle. All in all, I am very satisfied with the work.

This company did a superior jobs! I could not be happier with the work they did. The prep work they did was above and beyond. They were higher then other estimates but they did far better work than other painters we have hired in the past. In addition, they came up with a great solution to a problem that I have been having for years. I also used them for gutters a few years ago. I would definitely recommend this company.
