The main thing I discussed with Roger Davis that I wanted a quote on was to address the fact that the handyman that had put lights under and over my kitchen cabinets and was running electrical cords from the lights on the inside of the wall and I found that it was not in code. The other thing was to address was hanging a new ceiling fan in a bedroom, When I originally called, he set a time to come to my house a week later which was fine. On the day of the appointment, it was about an hour before the appt and I hadn't heard from him so called him to verify he was still going to be here. It was quite obvious when he answered that he did not remember the appt but agreed he would still come later on in the day. I agreed without upset because sometimes I forget things too. When he did come and I went over what needed to be addressed, he indicated he would have to check at his warehouse to see if he had other kinds of lights he could install. That's all he proposed to fix that the electrical cords were going into the internal wall but I was looking forward to hear if he had some kind of different lights that we would not have to run electrical cords in the wall since this was not legal. When he left, he told me he would email me with what he found and I was looking forward to hear from him. The only thing is it's two weeks later and I never heard from him. I am very disappointed and after first he forget our initial appt and then to not hear from him after he told me he would email me.

I called Freedom Electric to come out to my house for a quote and possible installation on 17th of July. He said he was booked until the 24th for quote. No big deal, I wasn't in a hurry. I just need four outlets installed. He came out on the 24th and did a quick inspection on his phone. I can tell by the look on his face, he wasn't interested in the job. He said I would have a quote in 24 hours and then he left. I never heard from him again. I'm sure glad I didn't spend any money with this company.

Went smooth, work was flawless, he was quick. I paid for 2 hours of labor, but once the electrical outlets were moved up (apx 30 minutes), he left. I had other items that I planned on installing myself but would have asked him to do some of them with the balance time remaining. Main thing was done, not something that I could have done. Very pleased with the value of what we did have done though.

The contractor seemed to be in a bit of a hurry but it went well. All the repaired items are still working

Since then - I've called 9-10 times for help- occasionally returns calls and says he'll call back with schedule, but then never calls back -never shows up. This guy is a total flake. Don't waste your time.

bad. prepaid (angie's list special) to have some outlets installed. he would not call & when i called him, he was always too busy. this is over a 6 week plus period. will request a refund.

Terrible! I admit I called on Tuesday, for a job I needed completed by Friday, so fairly short notice. Roger answered my call, and I gave him a brief description of the job, along with a possibility of having a 30 amp replaced with 40 amp (makes the job a little bigger.) He told me he would call me back the next day - never asked for my number so I assumed he was using caller ID. He didn't call the next day. So I called again and had to describe the job over again. He told me i would be the first job the next day, but never asked for my address. I waited until 9:00 a.m. the next day with no call back. He said he was in Celina (I'm in Allen) on a job he forgot had to be done first. He asked me to text him my address and he would let me know when he could get to me. I had an 11:00 appointment in Plano, so I texted him again at 10:10 asking him to please let me know when he would be here. I did not receive a text back. When I completed my appointment at 1:00, I received a call as I was driving, from Roger saying he was standing on my front porch ringing the doorbell. I told him I had to leave the house at 10:30. He then asked why my husband wasn't answering the door. I told him my husband must be gone too. He acted very upset that he had shown up on my doorstep expecting someone to be there, when he had done absolutely no communicating to us. I called another electrical company listed on Angie's List, and had great success. I will never call Freedom Electric again.

Roger was awesome. He replaced my fan and installed my wall controller with no issues. Very friendly guy and my upstairs is now smarter and cooler with that fan up there!

The contractor called me within 10 minutes of having purchased his service through Angie's List. He explained that he would be going on vacation in several days and wanted to get me into his schedule before he left. He said he would call me back the following day, which he did. We arranged for him to come out at 8:00 am Wednesday morning. He arrived promptly and did the removed the ceiling light and installed the ceiling fan, all in about an hour. He cleaned up before leaving. We are very pleased and will contact Freedom Electric again for other electrical needs.
