Description of Work: Alan is great to work with. He clearly explained that estimate and recommendations he provided and I felt very comfortable that this is the person we wanted to do the work. He set up a schedule and stuck to it. Pricing was very good and he work is first class. Can't believe we waited so long to have this work done. Really Happy with Alan!

Description of Work: I asked Alan to go to my daughter's condo to work on front entry door, upstairs balcony door & French doors to patio. He had to get doors level, replace weather stripping, replace & rebuild thresholds for two doors. When the job was completed all doors are working properly & sealed against weather & lizards! I would definitely recommend Dallas Doors! Alan is a very hard working man & does very precise work. I was able to leave & he texted me when he was leaving so I could lock up. Very trustworthy & also would call or text on he way to the condo.

Description of Work: Not a good experience. Guy tried to talk us out of doing the molding where want and tried to sell other areas. After we insisted we really want in the area of our choice (foyer) he started talking about how expensive it will be to reach the 30 feet ceiling and so on. He was supposed to give a quote for the expensive project but never called with a quote or returned the calls.

Allen gave me and estimate over the phone per my measurements and then came out to the house to show us some moulding samples, take the measurements and get a paint color. He then set up the time and date and was here right on time. The quality of the work was top notch, every cut was perfect and the nail hole caulking could not even be detected. We could not be happier with entire job. Allen is very friendly and very professional. Extremely easy to work with. When he was done he cleaned up such that you could not tell he had ever been there. The job was completed in 6 hours, start to finish. Allen also does door repair and replacement. He is the only one we will ever use for future moulding or door work. We are now looking at doing the master bedroom and bath. His moulding work is nothing short of beautiful.
Description of Work: He installed , caulked and painted crown mouldings in the hall and two bedrooms.

+ -1 moreAlan called the same day to confirm when he should show up, showed up on time, did all work to a higher level of satisfaction than I even anticipated, and was done proptly for the exact price he quoted me over the phone before he saw the door. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a door adjusted, repaired, or installed.
Description of Work: We had a front door that was out of allighment due to foundation settlement on one side. The handle set was also worn out from having to try to lift the door up to get it to latch. Alan adjusted three different areas of the door to get it perfectly aligned, installed our new handle set, and replaced the handle set factory screws that are weak and tend to get stripped out with hardened heavy duty screws that won't strip out if you ever need to adjust it. All of this only took him about two hours cost $110.
