Description of Work: Repaired wall hung 3 year old Samsung Plasma TV that had no picture or sound. Took to office for repair. Very pleasant, professional technician.

Description of Work: They replaced a fried circuit in a projector. The cost of repairing the circuit vs. replacing the projector saved about $4500. We also received some helpful tips to ensure no future problems with the projector. (I had this home projector repaired for my son-in-law.)

Description of Work: He came out, checked the TV and said he needed to take it to the shop to check and see if the front panel needed to be replaced. Seemed very knowledgable of the manufacturing process. It took a week, but he did get back to me and let me know the front panel could not be salvaged. It would cost more to repair than to get a new set. He offered to return the set, and I probably should have had him bring it back, but I left it with him for disposal. I was only charged for the home visit. No charge for the analysis. I was disappointed in the amount of time it took to get the results back, but when I contacted them about it, they moved quickly.

Description of Work: Amazing service! Very knowledgable and professional. The technician picked up my 2006 55" plasma TV, took it to the shop, repaired it and brought it back and set it up! They kept me informed of the progress while it was in for repair. The TV looks brand new! Well worth the wait while they looked for quality parts. I will most definitely contact them for any future TV repair or purchase!

Description of Work: I got a ballpark estimate over the phone for a job for my plasma; after doing more research before taking the trip out to our home, they called and informed me it would be quite a bit more than we had thought before. Rather than come out, knowing they could charge the diagnostic fee and give us sticker shock on what we will have to do to fix the TV, they were completely up front BEFOREhand. This is the way business used to be done, and the way it should be done by more people. They were very friendly and super quick to respond to every question I asked. If/when we ever do have services done to our TV, it will be with Affordable Big Screen.

Description of Work: Big screen TV repair. Alex came out, diagnosed the problem, had the parts in his truck, and did the repairs in my home. We needed a new power supply, as ours had worn out after 10 years. He removed the housing on the back of the TV, took out the mother board, cleaned it, and then did the electronic replacement of the power supply circuits. He vacuumed inside the unit, and was gone within 2 hours of having arrived.
