Description of Work: I have had numerous performance issues with Frontier. A few days ago they had to replace my modem/router. Last Friday I reported a problem with my internet speed. They sent out a technician three days later and found a "weak port". This evening I couldn't get into any web site and called. The female who answered said there was a problem in our area (I could not understand her, so I'm really not sure what she said). I called my neighbor and his Frontier internet was working fine. I also asked the lady how to get credit on my bill for all of the down time and she said she would transfer me to Customer Service. After waiting over 20 minutes on hold, I hung up. This is terrible service, both the technical/customer service on the telephone and the effort to get my continuous poor performance issues fixed. I'm paying for their "high speed" DSL and getting dial-up speeds at best.

Only internet provider available in my area unless we go with satellite. I have down or super slow service at least every 2 months sometimes more often. They tell me 24-48 hours and someone will come fix. Typically by the next morning the internet is up and working again so when they call to confirm trip none is needed. The service technicians I have had on site tried very hard but typically find that the problem is somewhere other than here. Would change services if I could. If I didn't work from home I would probably go without internet rather than the service and speed available here.

They are the only provider I have been able to find for this area or I would change. 6 months ago my internet started cutting out occasionally and slowed down. They are very friendly over the phone and the techs that they have sent out have been courteous and have tried to help. Unfortunately the problems with the internet seem to be getting worse. With internet service dropping several times per da. Just long enough to disrupt whatever I am trying to do.
