great, They came when they said. Did what they said and more. The house looks better than ever!

They were working on a neighbors yard and he said he had used them several times and they had always done honest work, so I solicited them for an estimate. It was so low that I contracted them right away and they began work no more than an hour later. They worked into the night and got the whole job done.
Their original estimate did not include hauling off because I thought my town would take it. When I found out the town would not remove the contractor generated yard waste, Affordable estimated $1000 for removal which brought the final cost to $2950. The tree limbs were promptly removed within 2 days. This was still well below the estimate of the larger established firm.
There was 1 branch, that was not originally contracted to be pruned, that was damaged by them. They trimmed it back but the result stuck out and looked bad and they returned to remove it, but it cost an extra $100.
I have also since used them for mulching last Summer, for which they used a big professional blower.
I do not find them listed with the BBB. Their main drawbacks are the heavy preference for cash and the follow up calls to solicit business. It is easy to screen their calls from caller ID if you don't want to deal with a solicitation at that time.
Despite a few rough edges, they are a bargain and I will continue to use them for the big jobs around the yard.
