The work required was substantially more than the insurance estimate, but that was explained thoroughly and to my satisfaction. I thought that would lead to a big hassle for me to work out with my insurance company, but Jon Grimes of Autobody Advantage took care of that and I didn't even have to make a call. I got regular emails with updates on progress and the work was completed in about a week and a half, which was a few days earlier than promised. The work done was flawless and my truck looked brand new (it's 3 years old with 57K miles) when I picked it up. They even cleaned up the interior.
I've heard horror stories from people getting body work done, so my experience with this provider far exceeded my expectations. I can't think of anything that could have gone better.

Cosmetic repair was done satisfactory. Issues after were not handled the way they should have been. 3 days after receiving the truck back, check engine light came on. The code was for something they had replaced and caused by not routing a cable where it should have been. In not doing so, the wire rubbed against the power steering pulley blowing a fuse and ruining the new pump. I had to do all the leg work on finding out what the issue was. Lost a day of vacation trying to get from shop that troubleshot the issue. It was electrical and Autobody was told what they found out. Ignoring that, they "fixed" a wire to a shorted out air pump with a butt splice and electrical tape. Why "repair" in the first place? The harness is attached to the pump that needed to be replaced again! Of course, it is all my fault and I should've done this and done that. BUT, if they had taken the truck back after the initial contact 3 days later about the check engine light, this would be a totally different sounding review. I hope lessons are learned about customer service from this experience. I know i have learned a few about how it is not supposed to be done.

"After Mr. [member name removed]'s initial repair with Autobody Advantage, Mr. [member name removed] insisted on using his "friend" to do some additional repairs on his vehicle. When issue's came up with that repair, in an effort to resolve them quickly, we asked him to join his insurance company representative at our office to discuss. Mr.[member name removed] arrived agitated and became so angry and unhinged that he was asked to leave the premises and the police had to be called. In short, we made every effort to try to work with Mr. [member name removed] to address his concerns."
