Wonderful job

Bob and his crew recently replaced the entire hardwood floor in the living room of my beautiful historic farmhouse after some joists and part of the subfloor had rotted. This was a floor that another vendor had installed as new in 2014 (prior to my owning the home) but apparently, they neglected to install a moisture barrier and this part of the house has no crawlspace. Bob quickly assessed the root of the problem, provided me with advice and options and gave a fair and reasonable estimate to repair the floor. He and the crew took the floor down to the bare dirt and replaced all joists and subfloors, they added a moisture barrier and then installed a new, custom hardwood floor. Then, they sanded the rest of the existing hardwoods throughout the downstairs and re-stained and sealed everything to a gorgeous new finish. As Bob said, they installed the floors that this house deserves. Their work was meticulous with both the floors and my possessions! They moved the furniture with great care, covered the kitchen cabinets in plastic throughout the project, then vacuumed, dusted, and put everything back in its original place when they were done. From start to finish, the job took only about seven working days, with the Thanksgiving holiday in the middle. These guys are friendly, professional, and hardworking and I cannot say enough good things about them. I highly recommend them for any flooring or remodeling project. They are truly the best!

Bob is a wizard. He repaired the water damage to my hardwood flooring as well as some grout work in the master bath. He and his man were pleasant to have in my home and I highly recommend BKH for any wood or other project that you might want to mention to him. [PS-Bob is also a very cool dude.]

we were very pleased with all aspects of our flooring replacement. Walls and furniture were covered for protection and refuse removed promptly. Work areas were kept clean each day. Workmanship is excellent. Couldn't be happier. Would use them again when needed.

BKH installed a wooden fence around my back patio, it was exactly to specs requested, and was very neatly done. My neighbor even went out to ask the installer for his information. I Would certainly recommend BKH.

Bob was great. He had to go full "floor whisperer" to deal with the job I needed done. Bob came out and gave me a quote, and stuck to it when the job was done. The floor looks great.

You can automatically tell that Bob has been doing home repair for most of his life. He doesn't just make sure the job gets done. He makes sure it's done right, even if it means a little extra work that wasn't planned. They replaced the flooring (down to the joists in places), lower kitchen cabinets and countertops. There was a minor plumbing problem below the sink that is now repaired correctly. Would recommend for any job.

We had a few scheduling issues, once resolved, the project was completed in a snap.

Fínally replaced my old fence. Took them 3 days to put up fence with double door gate, medium gate and small gate. All my friends tell me how beautiful my new fence looks! Would recommend then for fence jobs.

good work they did all our flooring

The floors look wonderful. Always came on time and did all the work they stated they would do in contract,cleaned up so well after moving all the furniture out of the house and then having to put it back.IWe would certainly recommend .

This experienced staff did a wonderful job on our laminate flooring. They took the time to cover the details. Would not hesitate to hire them again for any job!

Bob and his guys did an excellent job installing laminate wood flooring on the first floor of my condo. Bob is professional, trustworthy, communicates well before and during the job and completes his work when he says he will. I would hire him again and would highly recommend this company.

Bob and his staff are all business. They installed Bellawood in two (2) bedrooms in my home. He lives up to his word. He and his staff are professional and did beautiful work. He does not cut corners. I was skeptical initially about hiring BKH for this project. I was primarily concerned with the payment requirement. I can't say enough about the quality of his work. Highly recommended.

Bob was great to work with. He always took my wants into consideration, and followed them whenever possible. But also always made me aware whenever what I wanted may not have been the best option for the job. I can't exaggerate how much I appreciated his honesty and his knowledge. My refinished hardwood floors are absolutely gorgeous, far exceeding even my expectations.

Did a great job!!! Very dependable!!!! And he always communicated with me about everything which I loved the most!!! He does not cut corners even if you say "you don't have to do that." He lets you know right away that he will not cut corners. He treats the project as if he was doing it for himself, and he cleans up every day. On the last day I was sad to see him go . He DOES NOT nickel and dime you to death; his pricing is very fair. I really like this guy!!! I look forward to hiring him to do other projects in the future.

Bob promply gave us a very competitive estimate. He listened to what we wanted and provided great suggestions and insight into the repair and remodel of our bathrooms. His work was excellent, his cost estimates spot on and his time estimates on work time and finish were better than any contractor I have ever used. I dont think you could do any better than having Bob remodel or repair your home. His work was meticulous in every detail and left our home spotless. I plan on using him in the future as we find more parts of our home to remodel.
