No attempt to repair the old garage door opener. I guess that makes sense.

The gentleman that came to my home was friendly and on time. He seemed to be very knowledgeable concerning garage door openers and the garage door itself. My problem is that the lowest price option I was given to have a working garage door opener was over $700. This included a new garage door opener and some minor repairs to the door itself. I later had someone come out from my home warranty. In just a few minutes they had the opener working perfectly. All he did was replace the circuit board. I asked him how much this would repair would have cost if I didn't have a warranty and he said about $150. This did not include the minor repairs to the door.

Excellent experience

I had a broken torsion spring on my garage door and I am a big DIYer, so I had gone to Home Depot and Lowe's to see if they had the spring and what it would cost. The guy at Lowes explained exactly what I had to do to replace it and I knew that I better not try this myself. He recommended a company in Hendersonville and I gave them a call but they would not be in the office until Monday morning. And later on I went online to see other companies that repaired garage doors and got on the Home Advisor site. They recommended three companies in my area that fixed garage doors and asked if I wanted a quote and I said yes. Precision called me within minutes (this was about 6:15 pm on Sunday) and said they could come by that evening - from 8:00 to 11:00 pm - and I said yes. Then they came out that same day - a Sunday night at 8:00 pm. They had all the equipment to replace my broken torsion springs and got it done that night as I was traveling the next day and would not be back home for 3 days and then had another trip the next day after that. The technician had the expertise and know-how to fix my garage doors and select the proper spring - one door the spring had broken but I knew the other door would not be far behind so I got him to replace springs on both doors. I could leave the next day and know that my wife would not have to go through a broken spring on her garage door. He was finished by 10:30 pm and I rested a little easier knowing my doors were fixed.

I had wo different techs and they were both courteous and knowledgeable. My dooe came in quickly and the installation was done in record time! I would recommend this company to anyone needing a garage door.

The repair person was on time and drove on the ice to get to my home. I approved the job, but they sold me much more. I have never hired a garage door tepair company that I wold recommend to my friends. I will keep looking for a company for my future repairs.

We were very happy with the response time however the estimated cost for the service (which was part of the decision making process) wasn't correct. We told them exactly what the problem was and they failed to mention their fix for our problem would be to replaced 2 springs instead of the one we had. Obviously that changed the price at the time of service. They did work with us on the price but we still paid more than they quoted for the service.
