I had a large tree that needed to be removed from my front yard. From the moment I met with Tony until the day of the tree removal was only one week. Tree removal was completed in a few hours and all debris removed. Quick and efficient service!! There is a different company that grinds the tree stump. Tony recommended Damien for the stump grinding and I could not be more pleased with the results!! Great job!!

Called on Monday, trees were down on Friday. 80 ft pines and 9 39ft ash. Tony who did estimate was informative and professional. Corey who cut and climbed was terrific. Some of the trees were right by my house and went down with out a problem. Corey had copy of contract and made sure that everything I paid for I got.

Easy, smooth, professional process from the initial consultation/evaluation, to the trimming of the tree and subsequent clean up. Will definitely use them again for any future tree trimming needs.

Moore & Smith Tree Service did an outstanding job with the many oaks and palms in our yard. We weren't sure if we wanted tree removal, or just reduction (cut back) and when Tony came out to speak with us, he was very knowledgeable and gave me quotes for both scenarios. He informed me about the benefits of both, but never tried to sway me to take the more expensive route at all. The quoted price was more than fair and their communication was fantastic. I simply cannot express how diligent they are with their communication during the process and keeping you 100% in the loop during the project. Tony was amazing!! To add onto that, when the team came out to complete the tree work, they introduced themselves and walked around to each tree and discussed the work to be done with myself and my husband. One of the owners himself also came to our house the day of to discuss the project with us, and was very patient and knowledgeable with all of our questions and concerns. We were also very pleased with the work completed in the short amount of time (they are very efficient), along with the fact that the cleanup was so diligent you would not known they had even been there (aside from my trees looking amazing after). :) To top it off, Tony came by after to walk around with me again to make sure everything was done to my liking. Impeccable service, communication, and knowledge. They are now on my list for any future tree needs! :):)

Extremely thorough care of both the client and the tree. This company is composed, from top to bottom, of people who care. I had a very large dead tree, in a very trick position, surrounded by power lines and not sturdy enough to climb. Due to these conditions, I knew we were facing an expensive endeavor. I was looking for a highly-recommended company with skills specific to my needs. I found Moore and Smith through Home Advisor and was first impressed by the DOZENS of remarkable reviews. My next great impression was the estimate/consultation. Tony was so kind and thorough with all of the factors that go into the estimate. In addition, the owners, Kasandra and Phil, both came out to get a closer look - it was going to be a challenge to get to the higher, riskier branches. I was immediately comforted by their expertise - Kasandra's knowledge as a certified arborist and Phil's knowledge of the physics and geometry involved in safely and systematically removing the high risk limbs without damaging the house. They were also incredibly understanding of my financial situation and the urgency of the project and worked with me to come up with a plan that was able to address both concerns. They also used their connections with and their knowledge of City of Tampa procedures to make sure we could rush the permit, due to the danger the tree posed. And to complete the trifecta of great impressions was the day of the removal: My dogs and I kept to the back side of the house, for safety. Occasionally I would step out to the back yard to take a look. I was completely mesmerized by the skill with which the gentleman at the top of the tree via bucket truck extension. He was continuously employing his strength, balance, geometric skills to develop the order in which the limbs came down, and mentoring skills - making remarks to newer workers on the ground who were hands-on learning from this unique combination of difficulty and danger. (These are skills you cannot learn in a book or in a classroom). They also completely cleaned up after themselves and took time to blow the roof. I feel like I have a new house. Phil, the owner, was onsite throughout the removal - something Tony, the estimator, said is a consistent practice of the company. (As if it is not obvious by my above comments) I fully support and highly recommend Moore and Smith Tree Service. Very knowledgeable and professional. I had a very difficult dead pine in a very hard to access area and they got it down no problem.

Estimator grossly underbid the job so when owner came on site to start work the cost was raised considerably. However, there were 5 pine trees removed, each located in a challenging position in my yard. They DO NOT have worker's comp coverage so ask for a work-around for your protection. Very nice crew.

I was extremely pleased with the work, my tree was huge , they did a wonderful job & cleaned up well. I had received 3 different quotes & this company was right in the middle in terms of price, I have already recommended them to my neighbor
