Auto Service
Being close to my house, I visited this service center at least 4 times. They always tried to sell me something and once talked me into a transmission flush which cost about $75. Another time they hard sold me some kind of engine cleaning process which involved take the car in the parking lot and I watched as billows of smoke blasted from the tail pipe. It seemed like every time I went there a simple oil change ended involving some other mystery service that cost WAY more than I was planning. I never really felt comfortable with these guys and quit going there. I avoid Jiffy Lube in general now and instead prefer the Valvoline centers which never hard sell me any additional service and seem much more professional.
