Called to make appointment for suspension check, brake check, and belts and hoses check. I suspected suspension problems and it was confirmed I needed new shocks. All other checks required no intervention. Upon entering the shop I was greeted warmly and immediately served. I dropped the car off in the early afternoon but they were busy enough that they couldn't get to it until the next morning. They had informed me this might be the case. They immediately called the next morning with an estimate and then called as soon as the work was completed. Picking up the car was just as smooth as dropping it off. They did not try to upsell me and were quick and accurate with the repair. I suspect they aren't the least expensive but I thoroughly trust them. That is worth a lot.

We had noticed our daughter's car had an unusual sound. We took it to Bass Tire and they checked everything out. Although it was early for her to need new tires she had and quot;flat spotsand quot; and some early dry rot. We had bought the original tires from them. They prorated the new tires and then discounted the replacement tires.
We have used Bass for our tire and minor engine and brake needs for many years. When I had a problem with my car not starting Mr. Bass kept the car and drove it himself to try to understand what was happening. I always feel like we are being treated like family.

They do a lot of car repair, and it's not just for tire replacement. We have overly used cars, and we've gotten really ripped off here in Nashville. Steve Bass, the owner has been always upfront and honest. He does not try to gouge you or tell you that you need something that you don't.

My most recent visit went great! There was something wrong with my windshield wipers and they just went in and did a tiny adjustment and my car was fixed. I go to them every time I need something done on my car!

We did not know what was causing the awful noise when we would put on the brakes. We had also been putting off buying new tires and the tread was so bad that they would loose traction very easily.We took the truck in to find out what was causing the noise and to get an estimate on the tires. The customer service was the best. Steve, the owner, showed us several different tires and explained the advantages of each kind. We were given an estimate on the tires and brakes. The actual cost was less than the estimate. The brakes work great and the truck runs quieter than it ever has.They are very trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

I buy my tires and get them rotated with them for three years. They are great. My first experience with the company was when I had a flat tire I took it in there, they fixed the tire for free, shook my hand and stated that they hope I will be back to do business.

I've been going to Steve Bass Tire for several years now. Altogether, I think I've replaced tires on about 4 vehicles so far. In addition, we've had several brake jobs done. My wife's 2002 Honda CRV recently began making a noise that she thought was coming from her rear brakes. We took the car in to Bass Tire and asked them to check her brakes and also the belts and hoses. They called back and told us that the brakes were okay, and that the noise appeared to be coming from the rear differential. When we picked up the car, Steve took time to explain what he thought the problem was and what we should do. Steve was very honest and told us that our best course of action was to take the car to a Honda dealer and get the rear differential serviced to see if that would stop the noise before investing in a rear differential re-build. He also told us that the brakes and hoses were okay. Another dealer might have gone ahead and "fixed" something, but I appreciated Steve's honesty. And he didn't even charge us anything for his time or trouble.

This is a friendly place recommended by my neighbor who has used them for years for car care. It didn't take long at all for them to do the work.

Bass tire has been my favorite tire shop for a couple years now. Prices are very fair, about on par with Costco. Steve and Aaron are a great team that will keep them thriving for years. Bass Tire has TWICE repaired flat tires for me at no charge, and one of those tires wasn't even purchased from them! The waiting room has hot coffee, free Wi-Fi, and occasionally donuts. They keep an ample stock of tires around and can make very knowledgeable recommendations.
