Four weeks sooner and $200 less than competitor and gave great customer service. Even cut some of the branches into sizes that I needed for a project.

They arrived on time, with a crew of about 6 each working their trimming tools.  They completed the trimming, removed the debris and ws gone within 20-30 minutes, if that long.

Fantastic experience. I had 3 different companies provide estimates and evaluate the trees. Price-wise, Mike was exactly middle of the group but he did an excellent job explaining what he was looking at and why he would remove certain limbs. My wife and I were very comfortable with him and felt that he would be our best option. On the agreed date to provide services, Mike and his crew arrived when they said they would and completed earlier than I expected. The crew did an excellent job with the limb removal and clean-up. My yard actually looked better after they left! I would strongly recommend Mike Sanders and will be calling him for all future tree service.

Mikes bid was to raise the canopy on 10+ trees. Dead wood, prune out, and raise the canopy on 5 large trees out front, and dead wood 2 large trees out back, all to be completed in an 8 hr day. Ended up not finishing what was quoted for a days work, understandable that it ended up being more time consuming that he originally thought, so I hired them for 4 hrs on the second day.  They did a good job cleaning up after themselves and even picked up some of my piles of limbs and straightened up my burn pile with his tractor, in return for leaving some of the debris in my burn pile. There were two areas on my property that had tire tracks, not too much of an issue because there is only weeds in these areas. Also I ran over two huge chunks of cut wood in some tall grass that couldn't be seen until hit with my mower, hopefully no damage to my mower. Overall I am somewhat satisfied, there were some limbs and branches that we discussed that didn't get trimmed or removed as requested, but other than that no problems. If I need any large tree work in the future I will call Mike. I gave them a B rating on price because they didn't finish what was on the written bid as quoted and cost me additional money. Rated B on quality because I explained that I wanted a clear view of the home from the street, canopy should have been raised to above the roof line. There are numerous low branches that weren't removed and/or trimmed below the roof line. I suppose he was extra careful because I was adamant about my concern of him raising them too high. Partially my fault, I should have been here to point out what was missed, didn't see them until a week later when I mowed the property.

Mike and his crew were extremely good at their business.  Mike took the time to make sure that I was comfortable with what his crew was going to do for me.  He went with me to the nursery and spent two to three hours making sure that I knew that the plants and flowers that I selected for my home were really good for my home and for my landscape.  Mike provided information based on his knowledge and experience and I made the decisions.  I learned a lot by just listening to Mike and then watching he and his crew do their work.  I did extensive interviews with four other Landscappers in the Memphis area and I selected Mike because I felt comfortable with Mike and his ability to do a quality job.  Mike was far cheaper than the most expensive estimate and also cheaper than the next lowest estimate.  I did not hire Mike because he was the cheapest bidder, I hired him because I sensed his knowledge and experience and desire to make me a satisfied customer.  He accomplished that goal of making me a satisfied customer!

I called on Friday 4/12 and left a message stating I needed an estimate.  I was called back within an hour and told that they would come out on Saturday early afternoon.  I received a call on Saturday prior to arrival, and received an estimate in writing.  My crepe myrtle was very over grown and was told exactly how it would be cut back, and how it should be trimmed in the future.  The person providing the estimate was professional, and answered all of my questions.  The work was completed that Tuesday.  The only thing they did not do was notify me of what day they were coming- they just showed up. 
The work was done just as I was told; and the workers cleaned everything up.  The $125 covered the trim, shrub removal, and debris removal.  I will definitely us them again.

I contacted the company on 3/29/2013 and Mr. Sanders gave me a proposal the next day and indicated his crew would be onsite as soon as the soil was dry enough to avoid causing damage to lawn. Initially, I had planned to remove only two of the trees, but when he arrived on Monday, April 1, 2013, to begin working, I asked him to include two additional trees in the scope of work.  He gladly accommodated my request and completed the entire job, including clean up of all debris that afternoon.  I had  to leave for a meeting before the job was done, so Ididn't pay him until the following afternoon.  From start to finish, everything was done as promised without delay and without any surprises.  As you can tell by my write up, my wife and I are very satisfied with the excellent work done by Mr. Sanders and his crew.

Called Mr. Sanders very late on a Friday afternoon to request an estimate.
Due to the late hour I was expecting to only be able to schedule for Saturday, 1 week out.
He indicated he could be out the next day and did so; arriving at the scheduled time.
We walked through the lot and I gave a detailed account of what I wanted accomplished.
Based on his experience he advised that I not take as much out of the Oak as I had originally outlined; for fear of over-stressing the tree.
Quoted $975 for 6 hours estimated labor.
I agreed and signed the proposal; for a scheduled work date that following Friday.
Crew and Mr. Sanders arrived on-time and although we missed each other by phone, he had attempted to confirm with me the previous day and left a message to that effect.
His crew consisted of 2 climbers, 4 ground clean-up personnel and himself supervising directly.
I tried to assist as best I could to give direct feedback to the climbers as to what I wanted trimmed.
Mr. Sanders and his crew would jointly give advise as to what they recommended and I did appreciate their guidance.
Onsite time was approximately 9:00 to 3:00, with no lunch break.  So original labor estimate was realistic in my opinion.
I had asked that they set aside the larger branches from the Oak tree for me to save as firewood.  They did so, with these limbs cut to 3 to 4 foot lengths.  I could not get my saw to start or run so asked if they would cut up the stack to firewood length, which they did.
Since this was not in the original quote and they had maintained a very steady and productive pace over the day I offered to pay $1100 (total) to cover the additional work content.
Clean up was quite thorough and I was satisfied with the degree that they cleared the debris.
If you have ever had utility crews come through and clear your property lines and left behind considerable debris; this experience did not mimic that type of encounter.  They did a good job.
Overall I liked working with these guys.  I enjoyed talking to Mr. Sanders and learned some things.  I think for those who may have left less favorable reviews; maybe they didn't (or couldn't) really make a true effort to communicate with the crew while they were working the job.  Based on a previous experience with a different contractor; I found this to make a substantial difference in getting the work accomplished exactly as I wanted.  I felt this team worked with me well and communicated effectively.  I would use them again and would recommend them to others.  I feel like I got my money's worth and it was a busy & productive day.

Called and asked for an estimate. The owner came out, gave me an itemized estimate, told me in detail what and how he would do what was needed. Told me his schedule was booked the next couple of weeks, but he would call ahead of time to let me know when the work would begin. I had one large dead limb hanging precariously over my front porch, he had his crew make a special trip to remove that limb within the next two days, to ensure that no damage was done by an approaching storm. He called as promised, the completed work exceeded my expectations, they cleaned up after the work was completed, and I am still amazed at the value of a job so well done. I have had the same work done by two other companies in previous years, and they did not come close to providing the service of Mr. Saunders. I will not hesitate to use him again.

I called and left a message on Saturday.  Mike Sanders returned the call and said he would be by the next day around 2.  He called to let me know he was on his way - 20 minutes later he was there.  Checked the trees and gave me the estimate.  He explained what they would do and how they would do it.   I called about 4 or 5  weeks later and i was on the list for the next week.  Due to high winds and a few storms we had during that time i wouldn't want any of my employes up a tree.  They came and trimed the trees, cleaned the  yard and i paid him. All is good

I called Mr Sanders and left a message about getting an estimate.  No one called me back for about 10 days.  When I did get a call back I was told he would come Sunday for an estimate.  He never showed up and never called.  On Tuesday, I found an estimate in my mailbox. 
I received 3 quotes and Sanders was very competitive.
Once I gave approval for the work, I was told it would be about a week (which was a much better lead time than his competitors) and they would call the night before coming.  I came home from work one night and the trees were gone with no notice.  Since removing the stumps was extra and they never called about the work, they left the stumps even though I wanted them removed.  They certainly could have just called and asked while there but didn't.  Mr Sanders did send someone the next day to remove the stumps. 
There was also no communication about the payment.  No bill left at the house, nothing mailed, etc.  I finally had to call him and ask how he wanted to be paid.
The work was done well and I would use them again but they really need to work on their communication skills.

Because of weather concerns the job took longer for Sanders to get to us but that is o.k. because Sanders communicated why they could not start within the two weeks expected. Excellent follow-up skills from the owner and foreman on our project.

Quite responsive and friendly. Received an estimate in a timely manner. Work done in an efficient manner with little or no affect on the household. Yard looks completely different now. Whole heartedly recommend!

Mr. Sanders came out and gave us a bid on a Saturday.
We did have to wait a couple weeks for the work to be done, but it was excellent.
They did a great job on the trees, were careful to not cut back too much, and Mr. Sanders supervises all the work himself.
Our Oak tree was huge and had not been thinned or trimmed in years.
They cleaned up well, and did not damage my other trees or shrubs.

The price was based upon each tree therefore there we no hidden costs at the end.  The backyard is surrounded by an iron fence and pavers so the task of removing the trees was more delicate than usual.  The service was performed flawlessly and once completed it was as if the trees had never been there.  I would highly recommend Mike Sanders!

Sanders visited on the date/time we had scheduled and provided a fair estimate.  They came on the date we had agreed upon and did a very good, thorough job.  I have a large bed under the tree with many expensive plants, and they were extremely careful not to bruise any of them.  They did a great job picking up all debris - you'd never know they had been there!  I had just had major surgery and was unable to come outside to see the results; when I was able to look at it a week or so later, I noted a few more branches I wanted pruned back (I'm very picky).  They could not have been more accommodating - they followed up with us, set another appointment and completed the extra work at no cost.  Mr. Sanders stood with me, making suggestions and ensuring that everything was done to my satisfaction.  He and his crew were very professional and friendly. 
I don't believe all other companies would have returned for additional "fine tuning" at no cost and I could not have been happier with the service.  We will not hesitate to use them again and will recommend to all our friends! 

I contacted Sanders Tree & Debris Removal about pruning my tree.  Mike Sanders spoke to me personally about my options, and explained gave me a an education on the proper care of my tree.  After considering my options, I decided to have the tree removed.  Mr. Sanders arrived at my home on time.  I found him to be very professional and courteous.   We agreed on the terms, and about week later I came home to find the tree removed; however, the creype myrtle had not be touched.  I called about this and Mr. Sanders responded promptly.  He advised me not pay until all the work was complete.   I was actually surprised at this gesture because the major work had been completed. 
Mr. Sanders came and took care of the creype myrtle personally, and I paid that day.  Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Our newly purchased home had several trees that should have been removed years ago.  Mike and his crew removed approximately 10 trees and trimmed quite a few others.  He was very helpful in determining what trees to keep and what trees should be removed, and made sound recommendations on the type of equipment needed, helping us stay within our budget.   They were very timely and did a great job protecting our yard and home while doing all the work.  They even did a couple odd jobs for us while they were there at no extra charge!  I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing large or small tree work done.

Mike and his crew were so professional.  He was timely in his bid, very competitive with other companies.  I really liked the fact that he was on the job with his men. Due to the fact that my house is up on a hill in the middle of many trees,  some of what he had to do was very tricky.  All of the large limbs on the house had to be taken down very carefully due to the fact that his machinery could not get up our drive.  He was there for all of the work, which took two days.  He was very considerate of my dogs when he had to get in the back yard.  His work is beautiful...I can now see my house from the street and everything looks so clean and fresh.  He cleaned up every bit of the mess and left my yard looking much better than when he came.  I cannot say enough good things about Mike and his company.  I know that I will use him again, and I urge anyone considering tree work to use him.  I  have had a lot of tree work done in the past and I can honestly say that he has done the best job ever!
