My wife and I were very impressed with Nick's response time--from initial call to final repair no more than six hours had passed. Nick did attempt to diagnose the problem by phone in an attempt to avoid a service call. Very considerate. The problems needed, however, his on-site attention and he responded quickly. He also offered tips on how to avoid future problems and answered all our questions--even those concerning another appliance. I would recommend Nick's service to all. Be sure to call him rather than just sending an email.

Called Nick around 7:45am and he showed up a couple hours later. Didn't take him long at all. Price was very reasonable. I'm happy with his service and will call him for any further appliance repair. He also found and corrected some minor things with the stove.

I thought S&S's service was great and I was really happy I called them. I called their number in the morning and the owner said he could be out later that morning. He gave me a call back to confirm the appointment when he was on his way and was punctual. I showed him to the clothes washer and upon opening the lid, knew exactly what was going on. Before I knew it, the clothes washer was fixed and the clothes were being washed. Terrific fellow. Reasonable price. Quick and efficient service. Great overall experience!

The problem was not the coil but a simple knob readjustment. His service call price was 59.50 and other guys was $199 so I got the oven back working and really appreciated the speed, honesty, and professionalism provided by Nick at S & S Appliance Service.

Nick came to the house right when he said he would. Quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me advise on what to do. We decided the less expensive cost would be replacement of the transmission. He purchased the parts needed and was back in 30 minutes. He fixed the machine, and it now works perfectly. I can't say enough about his professionalism and personality. He's an excellent repair man and will use him again and again and again. You should too!!!!

Extremely prompt and efficient service. Nick is a true professional in every way. Explained up front what the cost would be given the circumstances and was very thorough in detailing all of my options before committing to proceed. Although the repair was more than I had hoped for it was due to the cost of the replacement part. I would definitely utilize his services again in a heartbeat. Honest, knowledgeable and able to effectively communicate all aspects of the repair.

S&S answered the phone within a few rings. When I explained the problem, and the age of my dryer, they asked if I had painted any rooms in my house recently. YES! As a matter of fact, I had almost 1100 sq ft of my home painted the day we did 5 loads of laundry. S&S then explained that the dryer pulls in oxygen from the home's environment and that the dryer was burning fumes from the paint. This was then being deposited onto my clothing. Thus there was no need for a service call. They asked me to consider them for future jobs. S&S has won ALL my appliance repair business from here on out.

The technician, Nick, was able to properly diagnose the issue, but unfortunately it wasn't something he was able to fix. All in all, I had a good experience. Nick was very informative and seemed very knowledgeable about things overall. The problem turned out to be a frozen waterline in an unaccessible part of the freezer door; he recommended that we try to physically defrost it with a hair dryer and some other techniques of his. When that didn't work, he recommended contacting the manufacturer. But shortly after he left, I continued to use the hair dryer, and within a few minutes, the water was flowing again! Later on that day, Nick called back and said he called the manufacturer; he was able to get a part (which would've been somewhat expensive for me) but admitted he had never installed one. I opted out, but at least I know what the issue is, in case it ever happens again.

Day of service, I called for estimated arrival time. I was given a 4 hour window in which technician arrived. Unable to repair, called office to check if replacement was in stock. Fortunately it was available. Offered to schedule a delivery & installation appointment or to return to shop same day & return within the hour to install the same day. I accepted same day repair & avoided a second day without an icemaker & another day waiting forr service.

osedNick quickly diagnosed whet was wrong with our upright freezer. The fan that circulates the cold air had seized. He had the replacement part with him and had it working again quickly. I also asked him about a problem we were having closing the door of our "garage refrigerator". He again had the necessary part and had it fixed quickly. Overall, it was a great experience and I would use him again and highly recommend him to you!Diagn

As soon as I called and explained my problem, Nick said "No problem". He came the next day at the appointed time. He knew exactly what the problem was and the remedy for it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a reliable person for aplliance repairs.

I contacted Nick on Monday and he came out to assess the problem. He ordered the parts and came back out on Tuesday for the installation. Nick is very professional and courteous. He was very knowledgable about what needed to be done and got both appliances back up and working in no time. Outstanding! I thought that I was on my way to a laundromat this afternoon to get my clothes dried. Nick had the necessary part, when I asked him how much it would cost, he told me about a coupon online to use and he had the dryer completely fixed in under an hour! Nick was very friendly and professional!
