Our dishwasher stopped working for no obvious reason. The owner of S & S came very quickly, and he assessed the problem, provided an estimate, and replaced the sensor within 30 minutes. We have had no problems with the appliance in the past four months. He was very pleasant, clean and professional while here.

Great. Nick ordered the part he needed based on the model numbers I gave him and we scheduled a time for him to come out. I unfortunately had to cancel, but Nick was very gracious and was fine coming out the next business day. The actual job went smooth. He was in and out in about 30 minutes and my water level is good as new! Next Nick is going to fix my oven.

I sent them an email on 12/18 about 9:30 at night explaining the problem I was having with my Maytag dryer. Nick contacted me early the next day and scheduled an appointment for the same day. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and repaired it quickly. Nick was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. While he had the dryer opened, he did a complete cleaning of the inside too. If I ever have a problem with my washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher or any other major appliance I will be calling this company. I highly recommend them. I called S&S to repair my Maytag Gemini double oven. I used S&S in October to repair the stove and my dryer. He did such an excellent job then, that I didn't think twice about calling him again for the oven problem. I called him around noon to set up an appointment. He was able to schedule my job for the same afternoon. As soon as he investigated the problem, he diagnosed it as a bad igniter. He had the part in this van and was able to replace it right then and there. It took less than an hour and was fixed. Based on my two experiences with S&S (Nick) I can say that he is honest, courteous and polite. He clearly has a thorough knowledge of this trade. He works fast, but doesn't rush his work. He knows what needs to be done and how to do it. If and when I need appliance repair in the future I will call S&S without hesitiation. I recommend S&S without reservation.

We have used Nick's services before with complete satisfaction. First, Nick responds quickly to your call. We were fortunate to have same day repair on both occasions at reasonable cost. His work was thorough and complete, including cleanup. This is the second time we have used S & S and Nick never disapoints. He's friendly and upfront as to wheter it would be better to replace the appliance vs. him repairing it. Our 40 year old Kenmore dryer's motor burned out. It was cheaper to have Nick install a new motor vs. buying a new dryer. After replacing the motor he cleaned up our laundry room area where he did the repair. He was in and out in less than a half hour.

Nick did a great job. My phone call was returned within the hour and he was able to come out the same morning. Punctual and professional. He quickly figured out was wrong and had the part to fix it. I would definitely call him again and recommend him.

It went really well. I appreciated Nick's honesty, approach, service and knowledge. He was courteous and professional, I can't think of anything he could have done better. While I wish I didn't need his services I'm sure I will and I will definitely be a return customer. The issue turned out to be with my transmission. He gave me his opinion, presented alternatives and then left it up to me as to whether or not I fix the transmission or buy a new machine. I am very happy with the service I received and when it's time to fix, he will be the person I call.

It went so well that I I would use Nick and tell friends about him. There are not a lot of service people who would be so willing to share there info without charging.

Nick was very easy to work with. I called 10/15 and he was able to schedule us for the next day 10/16. Had the part on the truck and completed the job in about 20 minutes.

The repairman keep me up to speed on how his day way was shaping up so I was not waiting around. He was here on time. He took a look at the frig then explained what my options were. It broke over the weekend, I called on Monday morning. I have kids and a broken dryer is a big issue. Nick had a packed schedule but was able to squeeze me in that same day. He had my entire dryer apart in about 2 mins, found the broken belt, had the piece in his car and fixed it within about 10-15 mins total. He answered my questions and was very friendly. It was impressive and I was able to do laundry that evening. Ideal fix-it scenario.

Great guy! Quick, on time, professional service!

Nick went beyond what was necessary to diagnose the problem, disassembling the dryer further in order to allow me to see exactly what had happened to cause the dryer's failure. Lastly, he made a recommendation for a new dryer ("any kind where the lint screen pull out of the top - those are all made by the same company and they are built like tanks") so I feel secure in my next purchase. A different service provider on Angie's List had offered to come out for $150 and said over the phone that the dryer was probably not salvageable, and that the problem was probably due to lint accumulation. Nick's visit and findings were better than the other provider: he actually showed up, for less money; he found the root cause; and he inspected the dryer to determine that lint/venting was actually not a problem. I can now buy a new dryer with confidence.

Nick was fast, professional, and efficient. He came out within hours of the call and was very fair with his price when he couldn't do anything. He didn't want to waste my time or money and suggested a replacement refrigerator is the better option. He even recommended brands that he knows to be reliable. I would definitely recommend S&S and use Nick again.

I had left a message the previous evening for a non-emergency repair. I received a call at 8:30 am asking for information on my appliance problem. I was told that I would get a call a few minutes before his arrival and that he was in the area. Approx. an hour later I was called and told to start the dryer now so that he could assess how the dryer was performing. A few minutes later, he arrived, assessed the problem gave me a quote and completed the repair. He also reminded me to use his coupon! Nick was very cordial, professional, punctual and neat. His prices were very reasonable and competitive. I highly recommend his company and will definitely be using his service in the future.
