I talked to Nick on 7/15/14 and said he could come out that day. I was not available so made it for the next day. Nick called before he arrived and was in and out quickly. He replaced the parts that were worn out and also checked out the washing machine. I was very pleased with the service and Nick is a very friendly guy. I will definitely used him again.

I contacted S&S on 7-3 to contact me for service. As of 7-7 no one has bothered to contact me.

I discovered that my refrigerator was leaking water into my basement. Contacted S & S Appliance as the company had been extremely helpful in servicing my dishwasher a few months back. Once again S&S Appliance provided excellent service.

They were fantastic. I know the price was reasonable. They are very knowledgeable and dependable.

I called in the morning. Nick was here within a couple hours. He took door apart and determined that computer motherboard needed replacing. However, there are to ancillary boards dependent on the motherboard. He could not determine if those were working. He advised that if he replaced the motherboard ($270), and other boards needed replacing, it would be very costly. He advised that we should just get a new dishwasher. Very helpful. Very professional. I would call him again for any other appliance that was not working properly.

Nick was very professional and fixed the issues correctly. Was very responsive when ordering the parts and returning to install the new parts. Would highly recommend S&S to anyone.

We were really impressed with the service that we received from Nick from S and S Appliance. We called him this morning with concerns that our Maytag Washer was making a grinding sound and smelled of burnt rubber. Nick came out the same afternoon and Immediately knew the cause of the problem. He replaced the water pump. The whole service call took only 40 minutes. He was very personable and gave us a discount for being an Angie's List member.

Nick was fantastic. He was able to work with my schedule and serviced the dryer the same day. Wow! He's fast, efficient and was able to diagnose the problem easily.

Nick was very prompt. Called me back within about three minutes and came to repair my washing machine within an hour. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Replaced needed parts and had my washer back in working order very quickly. Would definitely use again.

Nick has serviced other appliances in the house and is a fair responsive man for the job doing quality work.

As far as I know it was for a rental property and he did correct he problem. He seemed wonderful and I would give him top ratings. They charged $130. They had to connect a dryer vent for me. I had Sears deliver a brand new washer and dryer and they did not hook it up and I was absolutely appalled at this. I had to call another service guy to hook up the appliances that Sears should have hooked up. To be honest to pay $130 to have it hooked up when I should have gotten it done for free and I wasn't happy. So everything was taken care of. He did a good job, I was very happy, I called them in the morning and he came the same day and did what I had asked him to do.

Called Nick in morning. He returned the call within an hour and he set up a time to come out the same day. He called before he left for our job so I knew when he was on the way. Had the parts we need in his truck and the dryer was fixed in no time. Love Nick. He has worked on our oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and washer. He is fair in his charges and won't fix if it is not worth our money.

I called Nick and left a message on Thursday. My called was returned within the hour. I explained the loud noise when the washer was on spin. (I had "googled" it and suspected that it was the bearings going bad.) This is key--Nick asked for the serial number of the machine which I gave him. (He probably didn't have to "google" it, but he knew what the issue was.) He was at my house the next day with the part if I decided to go ahead with the repair. He gave me an explanation of the problem and the cost and I made the decision to do the repair. It was way to easy!

Prompt, pleasant, gave it to me straight that he could not fix the problem for a low enough price to warrant the work (21-year-old fridge, bad compressor). Only charged for the call.

I had spoke with 2 other companies and neither was able to service Bosch as they didn't work on that brand. Upon speaking with S&S Appliance I was informed that it would not be a problem to repair my dishwasher. The repair man was friendly and even tolerated my curious 14 month old.

He was great. We'd recommend him and use him again.

Great! They were very responsive to Angie's List message I sent and came the day my husband called them.

They did a great job and his price was reasonable. He was at the house for an hour & a half. He had to order a part, and came back the great day.

We had another service person call. He told us that the average life of a dishwasher is 3 years. Ours is 3 years old. Nick came and repaired the leaking hose within 1 hour. He will be the first one we call the next time

I have used S&S appliance twice now. Both times I was impressed with their professionalism. Nick was not condescending, which was refreshing to me. He told me exactly what part he needed to replace, and educated me on where the part goes and it's function. He responded quickly to my phone call, and was punctual. I will continue to use their services. I have shared my experience with friends, to put the good word out about S&S. Hopefully, this will expand their business. Sheri A Tell

When he looked at it he let me know that it just wasn't worth repairing. He told me he could fix it but it wouldn't be worth it economically. He was a very nice guy and I really appreciated his honesty. He was exactly on time and very professional.

Called and left message that my oven wasnt working. Got a call back within an hour! Came out the following day and fixed the problem within an hour. I would use him again for sure in the future! I would give an A++ for sure!!

Nick repaired my oven; he promptly diagnosed the problem and replaced the appropriate part.
