I can't speak for these folk's jewelry sales but my opinion is that their repair department lacks both technical skill and people skills. I took a signet ring in to be repaired (the gold initial had come loose from the onyx base and a piece of the initial had broken off). They said they could not repair it because the small post on the initial wasn't gold and wouldn't take the heat. I asked if they couldn't just glue it back on. Answer: "Nope, we don't do work like that". Meanwhile, they had five people standing around basically doing nothing. I said thanks and left. Then I took it down the street to Kimball's and they said "No problem". Kimball's repaired the ring for a reasonable price and made it look like new. End of Story.

Every time, but certainly this time, they bend over backwards to serve me and their other customers. They have excellent customer service. They do their repairs in their building, so it's comforting knowing that your jewelry isn't leaving the premises. They are very customer oriented.
