$225
The Apple Store quoted us $750 for the same repair.  A technician at Advanced evaluated it, and said it COULD run to that much, depending on what parts were damaged.  There would be no way to tell until power was restored to the machine.  He said he was pretty sure that the $225 replacement would be all that was required, and he would try that at no risk to us-- in other words, if that wasn't enough to fix it, we'd owe him nothing. 
What a fantastic way to do business!  He was right, he was fast (2 working days, I think) and we couldn't be happier. 
They service Macs and PCs.
