Muddy River Design Company

I contracted Muddy River Design Company to build a simple interior wall to close off a bonus space into a bedroom. Ryan quoted a premium price, but after receiving the down payment he went silent. Only after weeks of me reaching out did he come and do the framing/drywall, but said doors were on backorder and that he will come back install the door and trim. Also, said he’d send an electrician to fix the light switch he wired incorrectly. He asked the second half of payment promising to come back to finish the project. For months after, all while my infant daughter’s room is unfinished, Ryan would only respond to me saying that he had to check if the materials came in (he clearly never ordered them). He never sent his electrician to fix the wiring, leaving me wondering if my daughter’s room is even safe for her with his shoddy electrical work. Now, *six months after starting*, he's stopped responding entirely. Ryan got his payments but never returned to finish the project. He’s a dishonest contractor, won’t care about your project, won’t respect your time, and may defraud you like he did for me. Avoid him and Muddy River Design at all costs and find *literally* anyone else for your project.

Muddy River was hired to repair loose pool deck. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. We feel like we were stolen from. After being charged a premium price for the job, we were shocked to see the results. Most of the areas were not addressed and the finished product looked terrible. My wife and I could have done the same thing in an afternoon with 2 bags of quickcrete. We are now left with a product that looks worse than it did when we started. He agreed that it did not turn out the way he wanted but would not give our money back. This company does not take pride in their work and delivered an inferior product.

It went great. Ryan is a hard worker and his work is professional and outstanding. He takes pride in his work and in giving a finished product that is excellent.

It went well. There was about a week delayed due to on/off rain and weather but that was not something anyone could have controlled.

Damaged my deck, my fence, and my yard. This company subcontracted to Crawford Concrete who tore up my neighbors yard and my yard and overpowered concrete around my deck, fence, and landscaping. I can't shut my fence door. My HOA is threatening a lien and my neighbor is suing. I asked Muddy River to fix the problem and I was insulted. The deck stairs are under concrete, my fence is under concrete and my whole backyard and side yard are a mess of dirt and mud. The water is not properly draining off of my sidewalk/backyard. Thousands of dollars in damages - and months of work to fix.
