Green Acres Lanw Care & Landscape

I have been using Green Acres for the last year to cut the grass, general weeding and trimming, and sprinkler winterization. Although they are dependable and I live out of the area, their prices are not competitive. Since this property is a rental, I questioned charges on several occasions since it feels that the bill contains too many man hours and other charges. In this case, without prior notice, Green Acres removed the leaves from my property (about 1/2 acre) and the bill details 3 men, billing 5 hours. On top of that, I was charged $100 to haul off the leaves, plus a $10 fuel surcharge. The total was $690! There are simply not enough leaves to remove to add up to $690! The $10 fuel surcharge was added a year ago when gasoline spiked, but it has never been removed even with the drop in fuel prices.

They are quick and efficient. The price is very reasonable. I would recommend them to others.

Green Acres is very responsive, but may have begun to take on too many activities in addition to cutting grass. Their prices for extras are simply non competitive.

He's a real conscientious young man who is going to college and wants to do this for a living. He mows, edges, and sweeps up behind himself. He comes every weekend and as needed from April through November. He charges per the amount of area he needs to do.

At first I was really happy with Green Acres. I think now, he is so busy we are not getting the same quality of service. We do have a specific date for them to come and they are always there.
