I recently moved to Franklin and checked Angies List for a auto repair shop. Crutchers Auto Repair was highly rated and now I know why. They are the most professional and honest business I have had the pleasure of dealing with. You won't go wrong trusting your repairs to them.

My Son was having car issues and his check engine light came on while driving through Frankin. He called me and I looked for the nearest place for him to stop, which was Crutchers. I figured he would just drop it off, so I headed to pick him up. When I got there he was in the parking lot with one of their mechanics. Jamie, I think was his name. He spent about 20 minutes with us and, rather than try to attempt to fix it and charge us, he referred us to another business that could help us. I would have been happy to pay him for his time, but he insisted that he was just happy to help. I know we didn't end up using Crutchers this time, but they are obviously honest and dependable, and we will not hesitate to use them in the future!

Had gone to dealership and they said would need a part that costs about S800. Plus labor to put it in. Would run over S1000.00. This was in October last year. My daughter just decided to drive it through winter. Well, it is hot and needed her air. I suggested we take it to cructher's and just let them look at it. We received a call and the tech said that he has seen several of these and probably wires just need be sodered. Called me the next day said he had it ready. They are very honest people and always take my vehicles to them. I will continue to do so.

I have used Crutchers Auto regularly since 2013 and am extremely happy with their service. The last service was an oil change which was very reasonable. Eli is always helpful and, on this occasion, I waited for the car and it didn't take long at all. Crutchers was the only auto service company (the 4th I tried in the Cool Springs/Franklin/Brentwood area) that was able to stop my brakes from squealing after installation of a new set of brakes from another auto company in the area. I am really impressed. I have an old car. Prior to using Crutchers, I used a local Toyota dealer who was quoting me extra repair costs in the range of $400-$1,000 every time I brought my vehicle in for an oil change each (approximately) quarter. Crutchers doesn't do that and I feel comfortable with them since, as soon as I switched mechanics, my car doesn't need all this engine work anymore.

They're local. They're very friendly and courteous. I used to be thrilled with them but not so much any more. I think they are honest. My truck got older now but sometime I feel like they are not as thorough as they should be.

Brakes were squealing on my wife's car. I took the car to Crutchers to repair. I thought it would need a complete brake job, and was prepared to pay for that. Crutchers just said the pads needed to be resurfaced, only charged me $75. Crutchers is the only place I will take my vehicles for repair.

Have always been totally satisfied with Crutcher's work. I am not an automotive expert, but I trust Crutcher's, who we have been using for 5+ years. This car had been in our family since it was purchased used in 2001. My wife loved the car, so when we got it back, we spent the money to get everything fixed that my niece had and quot;put up withand quot;. We enjoyed the car for two more years, until it was totaled when someone hit the car from the rear.

We have been using Crutcher's for engine and other major work for 5+ years - they were recommended to us by a tire service shop who does not do engine work. I am not an automotive expert, but I have trusted Crutcher's with such work on all of our cars. I would rather pay Crutcher's than take a car to a dealer to buy newer cars.

It took over 4 hours for them to do this. They never told me it would take this long, did not give me an update as to why the progress was taking so long, and never apologized. This was my 4th or fifth visit here in the past for other services and this has happended to me each time.

I have used Crutchers repeatedly and I enjoy doing business with them.

I called and got an estimate, it was less than the dealer wanted. Dropped off car in the evening. They looked at car next morning and called me right away. They said pads needed to be replaced, rotors were fine. They also said I didn't need an additional service that the dealer recommended. The repairs were done quickly and when I picked up car everything looked great.

Last service I had done was replacing two spark plugs that were stuck and I couldn't get out on my own. I have been having my Toyota Camry and Nissan pickup serviced by this auto repair company for the past 3 years. I've spent probably near two thousand dollars in replacing parts that went bad, new tires, and general maintenance. Each service has been great. Perks are they are willing to drive you to your work office (and back) if you're local for free while they work on your car, that way you can do your job while they do theirs! They also have free Wi-Fi if you choose to stay in their office while they work on your vehicle.

The van looks great! They have repaired 3 of our cars in the past and we have always been very happy with their service.

He got it up and running pretty quickly....was my son's car (student)...overall really came through for us in a pin ch.

EXCELLENT SERVICE !!!! Jamie worked with me to control costs and provide troubleshooting that I could not do myself. Additionally he provided top notch advice as to what we could do at home to facilitate the repairs and only using Crutchers for what we could not do at home. Additionally Crutchers can provide intergrated vehicle towing service. The BEST CHOICE for the home mechanic with reasonible abilities and know how who needs some professional advice.

They are trustworthy, and reasonably priced. They are a small, locally owned shop which I appreciate. The quality of their work is very good.

In the past four years, I have had several really terrible service experiences with the dealership. Since I am self-employed and this van is vital to my business, I did not want to go the expense or wasted time experienced in the past with the dealership. So I tried Crutcher's. Because this is a business vehicle, they fit me in right away, quickly identified the problem, and did not charge me anything since it was a simple and quick fix. I did not lose any work time due their professional and honest work. I will always take my van to them in the future.

My sons 1995 Lexus had two serious problems: a leaky power steering pump and a defective thermostat. Lexus of Nashville quoted 4 hours @ $98, plus taxes, HazMat fees, shop supplies, etc. They also quoted a and quot;remanufacturedand quot; PS pump for $200 and a new thermostat for $35. Crutcher's was willing to install a used PS pump and a new thermostat I had bought. Knowing the car would have to be repaired there or towed to another shop, I authorized the work to be done. My expectation was that I would save 25/35% off the dealer estimate. Three days later I went to get the car and was presented with a bill for $450.19. I said and quot;That's more than I expected, since i provided the parts and PS fluidand quot;. I was told the PS pump was a and quot;boogerand quot; to reach and had and quot;taken more time than usualand quot;. I paid and left without further discussion. The repairs were performed successfully and both parts are functioning well. Probably I should consider this experience to be a and quot;winand quot; because the car was repaired for $450 plus $80 parts, instead of the $650 to $700 (plus tow) I would have paid the dealer. Still, I can't get past the idea that $400 labor is too much for these routine remove-and-replace services. Conclusion: Crutcher's does excellent work, and they get paid very well for their work.

Took a little longer than expected, but it did not cost as much as I thought it would

I brought my Montero sport in for a 60,000 Mile service. Front desk person didn't seem to know what scheduled services should be done based on a 60K interval. I subsequently inquired with the dealer on what should be done as part of a 60K service I found out they missed the Differential service and will now have to either have go back or get that done somewhere else which is a major hassle. Their prices were not much better than what the dealer quoted either. I will say the work they did do seems good and the car runs fine but the Front desk people just need to do a better job knowing what needs to be done. After all, they are the supposed experts.

Excellent. Having just moved to town i was without an established relationship with a shop. Found these guys and am not going to take my vehicles anyplace else. Scott was the contact at the garage. He kept me informed and the estimate was exactly what the final cost was. There was a little time needed to get the parts and accomplish the repairs. Worth the delay. They are "first come, first served" which i like....nobody jumping ahead of you, nor are you getting ahead of others.

Excellent. Mrs Crutcher even gave me a lift home since the job was going to take too long for me to wait. My daughter and I have both used Crutcher's for several years and have always been completely satisfied with pricing, service etc.
