I wanted to lookup your history and find out more about what we had done as we usually don't charge for basic inspections, but do for comprehensive ones, usually only $50, so we must have done some other work for you as well. As you mention there is only so much we can predict when inspecting a car but I want to make sure we do the right thing. I would have contacted you directly but I can't find your last name in our system and the service date you mention is a Sunday and we aren't open on the weekend, maybe it was under someone else's name? I have an old car. Prior to using Crutchers, I used a local Toyota dealer who was quoting me extra repair costs in the range of $400-$1,000 every time I brought my vehicle in for an oil change each (approximately) quarter. Crutchers doesn't do that and I feel comfortable with them since, as soon as I switched mechanics, my car doesn't need all this engine work anymore.

"Hello and thank you for your feedback, I apologize for not responding earlier, we are attempting to increase our online presence and I found your comments. I'm not sure if there was a specific situation that you were referring to but if there is anything you would like to discuss or have looked into please let me know. I will say that we implemented iPad's for our technicians around November 14 to address some inconsistencies in our inspection processes, hopefully this will improve the areas you are referring to. If you have any issues at all in the future please let me know and I will address them. We are always trying to improve our processes to provide the best service possible. Have always been totally satisfied with Crutcher's work. I am not an automotive expert, but I trust Crutcher's, who we have been using for 5+ years.
This car had been in our family since it was purchased used in 2001. My wife loved the car, so when we got it back, we spent the money to get everything fixed that my niece had and quot;put up withand quot;. We enjoyed the car for two more years, until it was totaled when someone hit the car from the rear.
"Hi, I'm very sorry for your bad experience,that's a service that should normally take 2 to 2.5 hours. I'm currently out of town with poor connections so I can't get in to see what went wrong. We have a much smaller crew on Saturdays which may have been part of it, during the week we could have taken you back home so you didn't have to wait.
