I recently moved to Franklin and checked Angies List for a auto repair shop. Crutchers Auto Repair was highly rated and now I know why. They are the most professional and honest business I have had the pleasure of dealing with. You won't go wrong trusting your repairs to them.

waited for the car took 20 minutes to include inspection. gave detailed information on the car and what it needed or needed in the future

Had gone to dealership and they said would need a part that costs about S800. Plus labor to put it in. Would run over S1000.00. This was in October last year. My daughter just decided to drive it through winter. Well, it is hot and needed her air. I suggested we take it to cructher's and just let them look at it. We received a call and the tech said that he has seen several of these and probably wires just need be sodered. Called me the next day said he had it ready. They are very honest people and always take my vehicles to them. I will continue to do so.

I wanted to lookup your history and find out more about what we had done as we usually don't charge for basic inspections, but do for comprehensive ones, usually only $50, so we must have done some other work for you as well. As you mention there is only so much we can predict when inspecting a car but I want to make sure we do the right thing. I would have contacted you directly but I can't find your last name in our system and the service date you mention is a Sunday and we aren't open on the weekend, maybe it was under someone else's name? If you wouldn't mind please email or call me so we can lookup your history, I want to be sure that if you paid us for something you feel you didn't get, that we make it right and maybe you'll give us another chance. I have used Crutchers Auto regularly since 2013 and am extremely happy with their service. The last service was an oil change which was very reasonable. Eli is always helpful and, on this occasion, I waited for the car and it didn't take long at all. Crutchers was the only auto service company (the 4th I tried in the Cool Springs/Franklin/Brentwood area) that was able to stop my brakes from squealing after installation of a new set of brakes from another auto company in the area. I am really impressed.
I have an old car. Prior to using Crutchers, I used a local Toyota dealer who was quoting me extra repair costs in the range of $400-$1,000 every time I brought my vehicle in for an oil change each (approximately) quarter. Crutchers doesn't do that and I feel comfortable with them since, as soon as I switched mechanics, my car doesn't need all this engine work anymore.

They're local. They're very friendly and courteous. I used to be thrilled with them but not so much any more. I think they are honest. My truck got older now but sometime I feel like they are not as thorough as they should be.

I'm not sure if there was a specific situation that you were referring to but if there is anything you would like to discuss or have looked into please let me know. I will say that we implemented iPad's for our technicians around November 14 to address some inconsistencies in our inspection processes, hopefully this will improve the areas you are referring to. Brakes were squealing on my wife's car. I took the car to Crutchers to repair. I thought it would need a complete brake job, and was prepared to pay for that. Crutchers just said the pads needed to be resurfaced, only charged me $75. Crutchers is the only place I will take my vehicles for repair.

Have always been totally satisfied with Crutcher's work. I am not an automotive expert, but I trust Crutcher's, who we have been using for 5+ years.
This car had been in our family since it was purchased used in 2001. My wife loved the car, so when we got it back, we spent the money to get everything fixed that my niece had and quot;put up withand quot;. We enjoyed the car for two more years, until it was totaled when someone hit the car from the rear.

We have been using Crutcher's for engine and other major work for 5+ years - they were recommended to us by a tire service shop who does not do engine work. I am not an automotive expert, but I have trusted Crutcher's with such work on all of our cars. I would rather pay Crutcher's than take a car to a dealer to buy newer cars.

It took over 4 hours for them to do this. They never told me it would take this long, did not give me an update as to why the progress was taking so long, and never apologized. This was my 4th or fifth visit here in the past for other services and this has happended to me each time.

"Hi, I'm very sorry for your bad experience,that's a service that should normally take 2 to 2.5 hours. I'm currently out of town with poor connections so I can't get in to see what went wrong. We have a much smaller crew on Saturdays which may have been part of it, during the week we could have taken you back home so you didn't have to wait.
