Spearfish Husky is run by an individual/owner that I initially felt was gruff and unaccommodating towards customers. It tended to go in cycles depending on the mood of the individual over the three years I went there. I didn't mind the gruff behavior and many others commented similarly about his poor attitude. However, in my last visit to this business I was so insulted three times that I vowed never to return. I sold my Husky chainsaws and bought Stihl equipment. Let that financial statement (one saw cost ~ $1000 new) give you an impression of the seriousness of his attack. He appeared to be in an awful mood, and perhaps for good reason, but that is inexcusable to customers. I have taken all my business to Dakota Rental on Colorado Blvd in Spearfish, where the staff is quite friendly and hospitable towards customers even though their costs are higher. If you live in the area and have Husky equipment, you will have to do business with Spearfish Husky as there are no other Husky dealers in the area. You have my sympathy.
