Very poorly. ALLCON does not communicate in a timely manner. Seldom callbacks. Excuses for not calling back. A 13-year business that lacks professionalism and ethical behavior. Lots of positive feedback but they didn't perform on my behalf.

Got delayed on last job, showed up 1 day late with only 1/2 staff. Had to redo vent edge, Had to fix shingles not meeting siding. Still waiting for a call back on damage done to my siding. Some things fell in my forced air heating system, before I realized it and turned my unit off and covered it.

ALLCON estimate was hundreds higher than our second choice, but the salesman was known to my wife who persuaded me in the decision toward them. We were promised everything ... experienced and careful installers paying attention to details, using quality products including an extra bundle for future repairs, and a thorough clean-up to protect the family pet from getting injured paws, and preventing any punctured tires. The project took 2 long days to complete using Certainteed Landmark architectural shingles. These look great! They finished up in the evening, and left the loaded debris trailer in our driveway, in front of the garage door. This was removed the next morning, but underneath the trailer was not swept up, and dozens of nails and scraps were left behind for my wife to clean up before pulling her car into the garage. I also needed to ask them to bring the extra bundle of shingles as promised. We were told the remaining rain gutters would be cleaned out of the construction debris, but over a month later I was still finding nails and scraps of tar paper and shingles inside them when I tried blowing out some leaves. I had to finish this task by scooping it out to insure this didn't end up on the ground again. I had also asked if they would check in the attic when finished to be sure that any loose insulation wasn't restricting the airflow down at the soffits, but nobody ever entered the house for that final check. When I went up to the attic, I was surprised by the construction mess that had fallen through the roof's ridge onto our stored belongings. We were also surprised that the contractors who performed the work were a sub-contractor by the name of Lopez Roofing. I guess I could have hired them for less by contacting them directly, but the results would have been the same. My expectations were high, but I ended up disappointed by paying more for this service. Now, I wonder, if I had choosen B&F Roofing instead, would I have had better results? I guess I will never know. But we do have two years to see how this project holds up to our Upstate weather.

Our rating with Angie's List is very important to us therefore we wish to respond to this customer comments. 1. We quoted a price that was agreed to by the customer and that is what was invoiced. There were no extra charges or "it did not include" type of issues. 2. Claims he paid too much. Too Much Compared to what? Our rates are competitive with other companies. There will always be a company with a low figure but unless they did the job there is no way to compare workmanship.3. The customer advised he liked the product and the installed shingles look great. 4. Customer was advised that the trailer would be left in drive overnight. This is not an uncommon thing. The dumps close at 4:30 therefore the trailer was left for pick up for first thing the next morning. 5. The project took 2 long days. 2 days is reasonable for this job. We do not rush to complete our work as the quality is more important than the time spent completing the job and as the customer stated the shingles looked great. 6. It is commonplace in the roofing industry to use sub-contractors to do the work in extremely busy times. If a company crew or a sub-contractor did the work Allcon is responsible for the quality. Lowe's, Home Depot, and Sears use sub-contractors for everything. 7. The attic was a mess. No roofing company cleans the attic after a roofing installation. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to take precautions and it is our representative's responsibility to advise the homeowner that we will remove several tons of shingles from the roof that may have been there for 15-20 years and it will create a mess. 8. The crew left a mess when they finished. Upon receiving a call from the homeowner we responded that day by sending 2 different crews to conduct a clean up. However, it was our responsibility to clean up the exterior area thoroughly after the job and we failed to do that. In conclusion, the customer is correct about the clean-up of the job and for that we apologize. Every company in America has one of these types of moments at some time. We regret this happened and, if there is anything we can do for the customer to make up for this inconvenience we would be happy to do it. We have installed several thousand roofs with minimal complaints and we are quite proud of that. The bottom line is the quality of workmanship was great. The quality of clean up was unsatisfactory.

They laid tarp over the damaged area, then returned to do the repairs. It was a very professional job and Mr. Perfect is a good owner.

Erin was amazing and was with us the entire process. His company had just done the neighbors house and she said she would send him over later that day to have a quick chat with me. Sure enough he came over and asked if I had the time he could do the consultation for the roof right then and there. This worked perfectly for me so we went ahead. He gave me some paperwork on the appraisals and told me how to go about contacting our home owners insurance to help with the cost since we just had a horrible hail storm come through. He even coordinated with the insurance adjuster and was here for that assessment as well. I never felt pushed or rushed with any decisions we needed to make. We finally picked out a style of roof that we liked and were put on the schedule for three weeks from then. Within a week and a half they called and asked if they could start sooner and were at my house that afternoon. They started in the heat of Georgia summer and worked fast and efficiently. The crew was incredibly nice and knew what they were doing. Night fell and they weren't completely finished and they asked if we would mind if they came back around 5 or 6 the next morning to get a head start before the sun and the heat started in. We said that would be fine and when they arrived and started on the work they didn't even wake up the rest of the household. They finished by mid morning and did a triple sweeped the yard for any materials left behind. Erin called a few weeks later to double check that everything was still holding up and if we were happy. We totally are. The one extra thing that I personally liked is that the last few years we get a Christmas card from them, which is nice, since it shows that they appreciated our business as much as we appreciated their work.

Took a while for anyone to return my calls. Needed someone to come back to rework an area; took 4 months to get them back. Bent a gutter on one place. I was not home to move a car so they left and have not been back. I got the initial check from my insurance and immediately wrote them a check. Insurance wouldn't release the 'depreciation' portion until they talked to Allcon. Allcon kept sending me bills and a call or two about the balance. Told them what the hold up was but they never called my insurance company. I finally had to call to get my insurance guy to call Allcon and get the necessary info. There's almost NO FOLLOWUP with Allcon. The quality of the work was good. They cleaned up everyday they were here. Only 1 of the roofers spoke English, so when I had a question, it was difficult to get it answered.

We had to follow up with them multiple times to get the work scheduled after they came out for the original quote. if we didn't follow up with them, no one was contacting us. they were reactive versus proactive. then we didn't see our invoice for months and then we got an overdue invoice plus we are taking this to a collector type letter that p***** us off considering we hadn't seen any invoices. come to find out they had spelled our email address incorrectly when trying to send us the invoice via email. the actual work seemed okay but the overall admin/back office experience with Allcon was less than desirable unless you like being a Project Mgr

Out of four responding request for roofing estimates, Allcon provide a prompt estimate. When called 30 days later, having received my insurance adjusters comments, I called Allcon representative and asked if company was still interested in contract and I was told yes. On three different occasions over a10 day period I called rep and was told "I will call you back." After the third contact with Allcon and told "I will get back to you in a few minuets," I called another roofing company and my request and job completion was done in 4days. Obviously this company is very selective in the size contract they are able or willing to take. The professional and simple courtesy would have been, "Thank you but we are not able to provide your service request at this time."

Weather caused delays , the the crew did a great job , roof looks good and does not leak . The crew was courteous and helpful the various levels of management checked on the job as it was progressing , and spoke to me about what issues they had found . They kept to there price and were significantly less expensive than the other quotes I had . The crew spent did a very good job with the clean up

They arrived on time. They were very professional and answered all my questions completely. The estimates arrived promptly, and they had finished the job sooner than expected. I had to call the office with a billing question (my mistake), and they were extremely helpful and courteous. Will definitely use them again.

They failed to notify us that they were showing up, and had a crew in our driveway one morning at 7:00 AM. Nobody on the crew spoke English, and they were not putting on all the agreed-upon ridge vents. There was no way to tell them, and it took 2 days for someone from the office to come out. They did remove the caps and add the ridge vents. They also tried to charge us for this additional work, which was their mistake. I would use them again, but make sure everything is spelled out, and request that at least one person on the crew speak English so that you can communicate with them.

This whole process began in Sept 2012. It is now the end of July 2013 and the work has not yet been resolved. After months of repeated phone calls, I still do not have an explanation about why this has dragged on so long. It was not until May 2013 that the ridge vents and the fascia were finally replaced. What is left is for the insulation to be replaced- not sure if that will ever happen.

replace ridge vents on roof that were blown off in July 2012. At first it was only tarped over, then the ridge vents were to be replaced, fascia on front of house replaced and weathered insulation replaced due to exposure from loss of ridge vents.

Called several times to set up an appointment. Every time I called I was given a different story: Someone will call you back tomorrow... or When they inspect your roof they will leave a note on your door... or We can be there Friday afternoon... or What about Saturday morning... or What about next week... I am sick and tired of calling them just to get a different story.

Went well. I would recommend them to anyone considering a new roof. They also took down an old antenna on chimney at no extra cost.

They quoted a reasonable price against another good quote and proceeded to install a new architectural shingle roof over old two layer roof. They did a good job of installing and replaced several pieces of flashing that were bad along the roof ridges. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after the job . They were great to work with and Jason was most helpful in making this a good experience.

I spoke with them on the phone about a leak I had on my roof around the bathroom vent. They told me what I needed to do and it solved the problem. They were willing to come out but told me that I could fix the problem if I purchased a plastic gasket cap for the vent. It was so easy. Just like they said it would be! They saved me the money to pay someone to do what I could do in less than 10 minutes. Great group. I will use them if I ever need roof repairs!

I was experiencing leaks on my roof and I call them to look at the roof and provide an estimate to repair it. I was very specific in asking them if this was the kind of work they did, and I was assured it fit their service profile. The came out promptly and give me an estimate, only after I 'badgered" them for the quote - a full week after them promised me the quote.. After getting another estimate for comparative purposes, I call them back and asked them to update their quote if I provided the shingles, since I had several bundles left over from an earlier job. The estimator said he would resubmit the quote. That is the last I ever heard from them. My suspicion is that they wanted a new roof job, not a repair job so they stonewalled me. Too bad, because I ended up replacing the entire roof and they were not even considered.
